About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and have been caring for dogs since I was a pre-teen. Growing up with dogs of all shapes and sizes helped me learn how to care for different personalities and needs. I currently have a senior dog of my own, so I understand the patience and attention pets deserve. I enjoy walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, and I would love the chance to care for your pet like they’re my own. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work a full-time hybrid job and typically work from home Fridays. During the work week, I’m available after 5pm, and I’m free anytime on Saturdays and Sundays. If a pet needs to be let out during the day, I also have the flexibility to stop home during lunch when needed. I’m happy to make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need throughout the day. I live in a clean, well-maintained home with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable and relaxed. With a turfed patio have where dogs can safely run and play. I have an 11-year-old Goldendoodle who is very mild-tempered and does well with other dogs, which helps create a calm and friendly environment for visiting pets. I grew up with animals and truly enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s playing outside, going for walks, or giving them plenty of attention and snuggles.

“Alison has been very reliable and responsive. She’s been walking our new puppy for the last couple weeks to help us get her out of the crate during our work day so she isn’t in there more than 4hrs. Puppy dealing with some pretty bad stomach issues and Alison very helpful with this as far as checking in with worried pup mom and offering more water/different options when pup not up for a walk. She’s been wonderful and we’re very grateful. Will continue to use her services as long as we can and are in a situation where work schedule forces pup into crate for too many hours.”

My schedule is flexible throughout the day, so dog walking isn't squeezed into a narrow window — it's a real part of my daily routine. That means I can offer consistent mid-morning, afternoon, or early evening walks, and I'm also able to accommodate last-minute requests or changes in timing without it being a scramble. If your schedule shifts week to week, I can usually adjust to match it. Safety is the first thing I think about with every walk. When I arrive, I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before I bring your dog out, and I make sure the leash and collar or harness are properly fitted before we leave — no slipping out mid-walk. I stick to routes I know well, avoid off-leash areas unless specifically asked, and keep a close eye on other dogs, traffic, and anything that could startle or spook your dog. I always carry water on hot days and adjust the pace or length of the walk based on weather and how your dog is doing that day. Before I leave, I make sure your home is exactly as I found it — doors locked, lights as they were, nothing out of place. If anything ever comes up during a walk, you'll hear from me right away, not after the fact.
