“Alison has been very reliable and responsive. She’s been walking our new puppy for the last couple weeks to help us get her out of the crate during our work day so she isn’t in there more than 4hrs. Puppy dealing with some pretty bad stomach issues and Alison very helpful with this as far as checking in with worried pup mom and offering more water/different options when pup not up for a walk. She’s been wonderful and we’re very grateful. Will continue to use her services as long as we can and are in a situation where work schedule forces pup into crate for too many hours.”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and have had multiple dogs, two cats, and a ball python for over 13 years! In addition to my experience as a pet owner, I have also volunteered at the Cincinnati Zoo in various capacities for 3 years now, where I have learned techniques in animal care relating to a variety of species from mammals to reptiles to birds. I am currently pursuing a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with the hope to some day work with animals professionally. I was a member of my high schools zoology and marine biology clubs for all 4 years and also founded a beekeeping club. I am currently a college student looking to pet sit during school breaks. I will be in town and available December 13-31 of this year. I offer free meet and greets and I will not have another job at this time and so can be quite flexible to you/your pets needs. I can come over at regular time frames to walk, provide food and water, play, and spend time with your pet. I also offer overnight stays and can accommodate irregular schedules.

If your schedule shifts week to week, I can usually adjust to match it. Safety is the first thing I think about with every walk. When I arrive, I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before I bring your dog out, and I make sure the leash and collar or harness are properly fitted before we leave — no slipping out mid-walk. I stick to routes I know well, avoid off-leash areas unless specifically asked, and keep a close eye on other dogs, traffic, and anything that could startle or spook your dog. I always carry water on hot days and adjust the pace or length of the walk based on weather and how your dog is doing that day. Before I leave, I make sure your home is exactly as I found it — doors locked, lights as they were, nothing out of place. If anything ever comes up during a walk, you'll hear from me right away, not after the fact.

I have a large, spacious apartment with plenty of room to run and lots if great walks nearby. About: I've had one dog, one guinea pig, two hamsters, and three cats in my day- and I've loved every second of having each one of them. I've been pet-sitting for family members since I was 13 (including dogs, cats, and rabbits). I am not shy about grooming, medications, accidents, or any other tasks for needy animals! I currently am looking for a new full-time job, so my schedule is fairly free. I am available to work weekends, extended stays, or simply a night to free up a tight schedule! I prefer a day notice to booking care, but am flexible given the situation. If working an extended or multi-day stay, I will have to leave twice a day to feed, groom, and otherwise take care of my cat, Butter. I like to know the habits your animals are used to so I don't disturb their routine; e.g. feeding times, litter box cleaning/ potty breaks, walk schedules, grooming schedules, etc. I understand the importance of stability and security to a pet and their owner and do my absolute best to maintain their regularly scheduled care, while they adjust to a new human in their safe space.

About: I have always loved dogs ever since I was a child. I grew up around dogs and took care of family and friend’s dogs. I have taken puppy training classes and helped with senior dogs medicine intakes. I have my own dog, Arthur, and try to make sure we have a fun and enriching day every day. Every day with my own dog is 24/7 dog care. I work remotely 99% of the time so I am available pretty much any time to care for your dog. I wake up around 6:00 am on weekdays so early mornings are not a problem for me. I am great with schedules and routines. For pets in my care I take them on walks, take them to a fenced in back yard, or allow them to socialize with friend’s dogs if this has been discussed. I am a big fan of enrichment activities and learning what motivates your dog.

About: I have years of experience working with dogs. More recently I’ve dog sat for family friends and my boyfriend is a dog trainer/groomer/boarder so I get to be around dogs a lot! While I do not train/groom/board, I do walks and visits. I’m currently working part time and I am a full time doctorate student at UC. My mornings/early afternoons are typically free and something’s late afternoons/evenings if I do not have work or class I care for pets with the respect of family and personal boundaries while ensuring all fur babies have a great time while being well taken care of!

About: I have cared for fur babies for the past 10 years, and my friends trust me with their babies. I treat them just like family members- with love, kindness and respect. I work during the week but I can take care of your pups in the evenings, and all through the weekend. I also work close to home, so if needed I can walk them during my lunch break as well. I have a dog to give your pupper some love and snuggles. We love going to the park. Also, we can also go on long walks in my gated apartment complex.
