About: Hello! I recently relocated back home to Cincinnati after graduate school. I love animals, they are such gems and have been a Rover sitter for over 7 years. About: I grew up on a farm with pitbulls and cats, so I’m very comfortable with animals of all temperaments and have experience in giving them plenty of love and attention! I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to help you with your needs! I’m available for overnight boarding all nights but on Tuesdays and Thursdays I am only available after 530. I have a fenced in yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor playtime. I make sure each pet’s routine is followed, from feeding and walks to cuddle time and rest. I also keep a close eye on them during outdoor activities to ensure they’re happy, healthy, and secure.

With experience of over 7 years, I’m someone that when you leave for vacation, you can have the comfort of knowing that I will take care of your beloved pets with kindness, gentleness, and attentiveness. I have experience with giving medications, taking on walks, and following set schedules. As a full-time social worker/therapist, I have the warmth and compassion that families and pets need to feel comfortable. I also understand that everyone is in different places in life, which is what guides my flexibility with rates. I’m always willing to negotiate and make something work. I do this for fun more than anything, and I think everyone deserves quality pet care! I am a full time social worker, so pet sitting for me is more for me to have time with animals and form connections with them AND owners outside of what can be a pretty stressful job at times. I work M-F at my job, but I work in a school, so breaks are prime time for me to sit, as I’m not working regular hours and holidays are major travel times. Outside of breaks, I’m available for anything, such as house sitting, quick check ins for a feed, or a walk here and there! I make many things work! In my home, I care for my pet by taking them to scheduled vet check ups, give flea prevention medications and any other current medications, and ensure that their potty space is clean and healthy, so they can be clean and healthy too! I also follow all instruction that I am left with to ensure that pets are safe and cared for under my watch. I always double check and ask questions to be extra careful if I have any. I’d rather ask than mess up, and that’s the best philosophy in my eyes!

About: I began pet-sitting for friends and family when I was 16. Once I became a professional housekeeper, my clients loved for me to housesit while they were away (with the added benefit of a clean house upon their return). Now that I have my own fur family, I'm unable to housesit for long stretches. Life has taught me to be adaptable and to be ready for curveballs thrown my way. I've given dogs medication, cared for aging pets, and cleaned many a puddle and turd with love and understanding. Twice I was bitten by a nervous dog, which triggered a fear response to dogs suddenly approaching me. That experience only increased my love for dogs, and I was able to train my body to react calmly, rebuilding that trust. Dogs love us unconditionally, we must return the favor! I'm self-employed with a variable schedule, so it's easy for me to add a walk or drop-in. Caring for animals enhances my life, so including your pets in my day is a win-win-win situation. I can't have your pet at my house (cats of my own). In a client's home, I balance the needs of the pet with boundaries set by the client (for example, dogs allowed only in certain rooms). I'm happy to follow your instructions out of respect, of course, but also because consistency is needed for encouraging good behavior and the well-being of the pet.

About: I am active and love taking care of pets. I am adaptable and can work in any setting while still being very organized and on task. I am currently a college athlete at Xavier University and manage my course load along with my athletic commitments. While I do have a lot going on I have lots of downtime away from sports and school where I would love to spend it helping people out. I have 2 dogs, ages 5 and 7, that live in my home. I live in an area with easily accessible walking paths and parks while also have a yard for dogs to play in.
