Availability
Currently my own dog, Ricky, generally requires a walk a day, is fed twice a day, and we brush or wash him a couple times between grooming. I drive all over Cincinnati for work so adding daily/weekly stops into my schedule only helps keep more structure.

I always try to make sure all the pets needs are met. I try and not raise my voice unless absolutely necessary, and not resort to treat dependent behavior either.

A typical day
I’m always down for a long walk with plenty of time to sniff around. While looking after my in laws collies we spend endless time playing fetch. My own dog enjoys some wrestling and getting tussled around but I would generally not do that without knowing a dog well and knowing how to calm them first.

A trusted friend for your dog!
Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life. Growing up I had mostly smaller dogs, poodles and mutts, and over the years have pet sit for multiple friends and family members. Most recently I have helped my in laws watch their four collie/collie mixes with walks, exercises/games, house visits and longer stays when needed. Two year ago me and my wife got Ricky, our 45lb Chow/Pit/Spaniel who’s amazing. I drive all over the Cincy metro for work and figured this would be a great way to break up my days, be active, and meet fun dogs.
Reviews

Michael did a great job walking our high-energy pup! He has been consistently on time, responsive, and trustworthy. Would certainly recommend!
Mike always goes above and beyond to be a responsible, friendly, and attentive pet caregiver & pet owner! He absolutely loves animals, has great attention to detail, and is proactive when it comes to making sure a dog is comfy and content. He’s easy to communicate with and has a flexible schedule.
Mike has been one of the few people we can trust to handle all FOUR of our high energy fur babies at one time (border collies, collie and an Aussie/retriever)! Whether it is just checking in on them to let them out when we get stuck working long hours or relying on him to stay at the house with therm or check on them when we go out of town for a few days. We always sleep better if we are away and have to leave the dogs knowing Mike cares for them closely following any needs we have and treats them like one or his own. Occasionally our older dog needs meds or is on a restricted diet and we are always confident Mike meets his needs if we are away. Mike is a trusted friend who not only regularly cares for our pack but also has a dog of his own that gets long walks daily and is deeply cared for. His dog wants for nothing and is a sweet soul like his Dad that fits right in with our pack. I strongly recommend Mike as a Rover caregiver and know he is a reliable, trustable and caring pet parent who would treat any other dog with love and respect.
