About: I have over 100 hours of volunteer service with SPCA Cincinnati, from walking dogs of all sizes to cleaning cat litter pans. Ever since I was 6 there’s been at least one pet in my life. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, fish, and rodents! I’m a freelancer, so pet care can fit in almost any day and time. If I am unavailable, I will let you know in advance. Attention is not given until all four paws are on the floor. Disruptive/destructive behavior is answered with Positive Interruption. Good behavior is awarded with free treats (please specify when booking if your pet has any food allergies). There are some our dog just doesn’t like, and it would be nice for them to get some use. I’ve found most pets benefit from classical music playing in the house, especially when their people are away.
“Jessica was amazing. Our older dog Wallace occasionally has mild seizures. Unfortunately he had an episode during Jessica's visit. She picked him up and held him until the seizure subsided.”

About: Hi! My name is Elisheba, along with being a mother to 3 kids, I am also a lover of all things furry and cute. I have been caring for dogs my entire life and have owned American Bulldogs, Boerboels and Frienchies. I frequently dog sit for my friend's furry kids while they are away. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as energy levels. I am a laid back person myself, but my children sure do a great job at keeping pups active and entertained. I consider myself an experienced puppy snuggler but I love going on walks and venturing to local dog parks. I understand that your dog is a member of your family and I will make sure they feel like they are a member of mine!
“Very accommodating when I needed to cancel day of because one of my dogs started to get sick the night before. Also went above and beyond to come over early before I needed to get to work to show me how a gentle-lead works and see how my dog would react to having it on.”

“Wolf was amazing! We booked last minute and had some changes in our itinerary, but was still very according. Romeo was so happy when he got back from his walk with Wolf. Will be booking again! Thank you!”

About: I have six siblings and I am the dedicated pet sitter for all of their animals. I have experience watching friends and neighbors dogs as well. I love to get outside and walk so trust that your dog will get plenty of exercise. I also love to play with them with their favorite toy. I can also be a calm presence for older dogs and help them with whatever they need. I am currently working a hybrid schedule. I am working from home Monday and Fridays and I am required to be in office Tuesday through Thursday. I have a lot of flexibility with my job and I’m able to leave if needed for bathroom breaks or the occasional check-up. I am more than happy to follow any specific instructions to ensure your pets safety. I never take a dog on a walk without a leash and always watch them when taking them outside. I make sure to watch for pets when I first open the door so they do not run out. I never leave loose food or small gadgets around that a pet could get into and cause harm.

About: I have a pug of my own, Bella, and I've loved dog walking and pet-sitting from the time I was 10 years old. I grew up having dogs and learned quickly how to train them, walk them and play with them in a compassionate way. I work well with every type of breed, size and temperament because I am patient and empathetic to all dogs' needs. I am physically active and I love to hike so I am out and about walking Bella every chance that I can get and we'll often go on rides to find the best dog parks and walking trails in the area. I volunteered in a pet shelter when I was young as well. I'm out walking dogs often and I'd like to meet some new furry friends, with their owners knowing their treasured pets are in good hands! I work from home so I am available on weekdays after work for dog walking, drop ins or pet sitting. I am generally away from home from 8-5 pm on weekdays. I am happy to schedule one-time walks, drop ins or pet sitting in advance, or develop an ongoing long-term schedule for walks, drop ins or pet sitting. I am happy to come to your home and stay with your dog for a night or for a weekend. My pug is rather shy but very easy-going with other dogs.

About: I have had dogs all my life. Growing up I had mostly smaller dogs, poodles and mutts, and over the years have pet sit for multiple friends and family members. Most recently I have helped my in laws watch their four collie/collie mixes with walks, exercises/games, house visits and longer stays when needed. Two year ago me and my wife got Ricky, our 45lb Chow/Pit/Spaniel who’s amazing. I drive all over the Cincy metro for work and figured this would be a great way to break up my days, be active, and meet fun dogs. Currently my own dog, Ricky, generally requires a walk a day, is fed twice a day, and we brush or wash him a couple times between grooming. I drive all over Cincinnati for work so adding daily/weekly stops into my schedule only helps keep more structure. I always try to make sure all the pets needs are met. I try and not raise my voice unless absolutely necessary, and not resort to treat dependent behavior either.
About: I absolutely love taking dogs out for a walk or run and will make sure your pet is always fed and happy! Taking care of your pet is a highlight of my day and a welcome break from studying. I’m currently a student, so I am able to be pretty flexible to your schedule. If I am given advance notice, I should be able to accommodate most routines. I am very organized and punctual. I make sure that your dog is well cared for and loved and leave the house as clean and organized as possible.
About: I have loved animals for my whole life and friends and family have trusted me with watching their dogs for when they go out of town! I pride myself on punctuality and dependability and would love to work with your dogs! I work full time currently with no pets of my own - so I have plenty of availability to dedicate to your animal each time! I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with a yard in front - so boarding cats or small dogs would be a good safe smaller setting. For dog walks or check ins - I work full time but could do early things before 8am and I am off by 4:30pm each day to do anything else needed!
“My girls LOVE Danyul! He walks both of them twice and week and they are excited every time. He takes such good care of my babies and sends me pictures. He’s extremely trustworthy, he has a key to my apartment.”

About: I've been watching dogs on here since April and the experience has been amazing! Whether I watch your dog at my place or I go to yours, you can be assured that I will take great care of your best friend! 20% off if you are new to Rover! https://www.rover.com/sit/kennyb02081 I've taken care of my dogs since 2003. My best friend just passed the rainbow bridge on February 26th and I miss him terribly. I'd love to give back because I know the difficulties of being busy in everyday life, yet your best friend still needs to go on a walk or even have a place to stay while you go away for the weekend. I'd love to help! I have a full-time job M-F however I am free most evenings and weekends. If you are used to your dog being alone while you're at work, then a weekday would work too! Just check my calendar on my profile for more exact availability. I have a green belt out my back door which is perfect for going to the bathroom or starting a walk. There is also a dog park in my complex and a dog friendly neighborhood. I can crate your dog if needed however I've had dogs in my home for a long time so I don't mind a trained dog having the same freedom my dogs had.
Pleasant Ridge dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alexandria has been great with our two dogs, Athena and Bailey! She is always attentive to their needs and willing to take them for a walk and adjust as needed. She even helped wipe down after a rainy day! We will definitely look to Alexandria to care for our dogs and maybe even our cats in the future!

Spencer has been the best. He’s walked my border collie 3x/week the past few months and it’s been a breeze. He’s super consistent and always ensures Milo goes on a solid walk. He shares updates and photos each day that make me feel comfortable knowing Milo is in good care while I’m at work. Highly recommend.

Connor is an outstanding dog walker! He’s reliable, kind, and truly loves animals. My dog's lit up when they saw him! Connor went above and beyond, making sure the walk was not only fun but safe. I felt confident knowing my babies were in such caring hands. Highly recommend!
Wendy and Zeke are an absolute dream team! If you’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and all-around amazing dog walking experience, look no further. Wendy is not just a big walker—she’s a big-hearted one too. She’s patient, punctual, and genuinely cares about every pup she walks. Highly recommend to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate care and a walking duo that turns heads in the best way. Five stars all the way!
