About: Hello, my name is Amanda! I have cared for pets since I was in high school! I went to vocational school for Animal science and Management, so I have cared for many types of animals, birds, fish, reptiles, cats, dogs etc. I also attended Uc's Vet Tech program, but haven't passed my boards yet(but soon). I am familiar with many breeds, seniors and puppies/kittens. I love caring for animals and seeing them happy! I don't mind cleaning up, feeding or giving medications if needed. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! This is a side job for me. I also have another job and a family with children that I care for. I have 6 dogs and 3 cats of my own as well. So lots of upkeep! I have 6 dogs that have free roam of the kitchen and get penned up at night. They get to come out during the day and hang with the family! Some enjoy walks and some enjoy cuddles! We have a doggy door, so they have access to outside whenever they want. They are all pretty friendly. Some attend dog daycare and some go on car rides/camping with us. I have senior cats that have free roam of the basement and pretty much do what they please :-)

“I booked Lindsay for daily drop ins for my two cats when I was out of town for 9 days. I’ve only had the kitties for a few months so this was my first time leaving them, and I’d never used this app before, so I was a bit apprehensive, but after meeting Lindsay I was much more at ease. I have an auto feeder but my first evening away, I noticed it was “offline” ?? Although Lindsay had already done her drop in for the day, she offered to go back so they got their dinner ?? and then patiently worked with me to troubleshoot and get it up and running again… total lifesaver! She sent me great pictures of the boys all week, and when I got home the kitties were happy and healthy. Overall a great experience, when I leave town again I’ll definitely try to use Lindsay’s services again.”

“Courtney is an amazing best friend to my cat Figaro. I am a very protective fur parent, and Figgy has serious abandonment issues, so it always puts me at ease knowing that Figgy absolutely loves Courtney and that he is getting all the love and attention he needs when I’m gone. Figgy also has a very particular diet due to IBS and his feeding directions are a little bit more intensive than getting kibble in a bowl. If he doesn’t get the right food and supplements, his digestive tract takes sometimes a week to get back on track. I’ve had issues with this in the past with other sitters, but not Courtney! You can definitely trust Courtney to give your fur baby the vitamins and medicine that they need to stay healthy, in addition to plenty of cuddles and exercise.”
