There were resident cats looking for an escape route but Jeff was on top of the escape plan & thwarted their every attempt to break free; even bringing treats for the cats! From caring for family pets to volunteering at local animal shelters, my love for our four-legged companions has only grown stronger over the years. My journey with animals has taken me through various roles, including working in veterinary offices, animal shelters, and pet shops. These experiences have equipped me with invaluable skills and knowledge in animal care, health, and behavior. I work at home fulltime, so I am available to give your pet plenty of attention. My husband works a hybrid job. We have two school aged children who have grown up with animals and are very knowledgeable about when to give pets their space, and when to engage in play. We have a large home with the ability to give your pet quiet space alone if needed, and plenty of indoor room for play when they want attention. We have a large unfenced backyard. My husband and I both go on morning and evening walks, and have lots of time to give your pet exercise as needed. Currently, I share my home with Subi, a big-hearted cat who has never met a stranger. He brings endless joy to my life with his playful antics and affectionate purrs. He does well with all other pets, but we do have the ability to keep him separated if your pet requires us to do so. I understand that every pet is unique and deserves personalized care. About: I've been dog sitting for years, starting with our family pooch and extending to friends' and relatives' furry buddies. It's become second nature to me. I love spending time with dogs, whether it's playing fetch, going for walks, or just chilling on the couch together. My goal is to make sure every dog feels loved and cared for while their owners are away. I currently work a full time job. So, my availability is outside of the M-F 9-5 work hours. I'm available for drop in visits/walks on weekends and evenings throughout the week. When I care for pets in my client's homes, I make sure their comfort and safety come first. It starts with a friendly meet-and-greet to understand the pet's routine and any special needs. Throughout my stay, I stick to their schedule, ensuring regular feeding, walks, and playtime. I spend quality time bonding with the pet, providing cuddles and mental stimulation. Keeping things tidy, I clean up and refresh their living areas. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos. Respecting the home, I follow house rules and security measures while delivering attentive care, ensuring the pet feels loved and secure in their familiar environment.
