“Wolf did an INCREDIBLE job taking care of our babies while we were away! They took the initiative to stop by before we left for an introduction and to get to know us, which left me feeling completely confident in them. We got a great little summary every day of how the visit went and several silly pictures each day of the cats. Wolf was such a treat and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a competent and capable pet sitter!”

“I am repeated client with Melissa and I really trust her with my beloved cat Oakley! She truly spends time with him and gives him much needed attention while we are away! Thank you!”

“Katrina took excellent care of our kitty boy while we were out of town!! She was kind and communicative and took her time playing with him and caring for him. We couldn’t be happier with her service!”

“Jessalyn took the time to really get to know Luna, asking thoughtful questions about my expectations for her care. She respected Luna’s boundaries and recognized that building trust and relationships with her would take time.”

“Carson did a great job! He was very kind, consistent and communicative- he was even able to cover an extra day for me when my plans shifted! He did a great job keeping my boy taken care of!”

“Angel was super attentive to my cats while I was away, and coordinated with me through complicated travel schedules to make sure they would get the care that they need! I’m super thankful for her 💙”

“Dana has been so awesome with our 8-yr old cat, Momo. Momo was recovering from a surgery and was on a cone, so we’d been worried about leaving her by herself. We trusted her with Dana and we’re so glad we did because Dana has reallllyyyy helped us out (and calmed our separation anxieties too). She is calm and kind, and was great with Momo—she sent us regular, detailed updates and pictures from her visits. Dana was also great about giving Momo her daily medications, food and pets, and she actually did MUCH more than what we had asked of her. Really appreciate Dana and will definitely reach out to her in the future!! Highly recommend her <3 :)”
“Tabby is absolutely wonderful. My pups and kitty had a lovely time with her. I could tell they were really comfortable while I was gone. She has watched them multiple times at this point and I will definitely be booking her for services again whenever I am headed out of town.”

“Allison took care of our girls while we were out of town for a family vacation. She was fantastic with the girls and communicated with us regularly. We supremely appreciate that she kept them happy and safe!”

“Kathleen is always reliable and great with my cats. She took wonderful care of my cats and even cleaned up some unexpected cat vomit on the carpet while I was away. I’m very grateful for her help and care, and would happily book with her again.”

About: I’ve provided care for pups in the Northside and the surrounding Cincinnati area for the past decade, and I’m excited to meet you and your pal! I’m adaptable, organized, and have a keen attention to detail which helps me individualize my care for each of my Rover clients. *Currently pausing boarding services as I’m looking to establish new client relationships for summer of 2026. If you need a routine dog walker or daily check-ins for your pet, I’d love to connect!* Growing up, the rescue my family adopted became my best friend! Since he was abandoned, it took years of dedication and persistence for him to grow comfortable with us and thrive. This experience has given me the patience to earn each animals trust on their terms and adjust my care based on their needs. I’m comfortable taking my time and communicating with you throughout the stay to ensure your loved one gets everything they need! I’m confident administering medication, following their routine, and finding new and fun ways to eat up their energy - all to be sure they’re squared away until your return ❤️ *Kindly review the rate of services quoted to you before confirming a booking and please reach out with any questions!* I accept a limited number of bookings each month to ensure quality of care! I work part-time, but can arrange full-time care in advance depending on your family's needs. My partner Curt is available to assist in potty breaks or additional walks throughout the day for in-home boarding stays - two for the price of one! Care of your house and home is as important to me as the care of your loved ones. I thoroughly clean during and after each house stay. I'm glad to manage care of outdoor gardens and houseplants too! I always take note of special directions to maintain your space while you’re away - just say the word! It’s my hope that each and every one of my clients feels safe and sound leaving their family in my care. We ask that dog clients are fully crate trained and owners provide the crate for the duration of their stay for those interested in boarding services. Many thanks! *A note to cat owners booking boarding: if possible, please arrange to bring your cat’s litter box and a familiar item like their bed/toys during boarding to help them acclimate to our space!*
About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents believed that helping care for pets was an important way to build responsibility, so animals have always been a part of my life, and I’ve truly never gone without having a pet in my home. Over the years, I’ve gained experience helping care for animals of all ages and needs, including temporary foster pets, senior pets, and pets with special needs. I’m comfortable supporting animals who require medications, extra patience, mobility accommodations, and individualized routines. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level, and I strive to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, quiet companionship, or needs a little extra support, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I would give my own. I’m an occupational therapist at a nursing home in Cincinnati! My work schedule is flexible for me as I need to be. I don’t work weekends! I live in an apartment with a fenced yard area. I have a friendly dog that is crated when I’m not home. I have a cat who is friendly!
“Courtney was super great and put me at ease while away from my cats! She listened and followed all my instructions carefully and her communication was great. Highly recommend her!”

About: Growing up with a veterinarian for a dad meant our house was always full of animals, and I learned firsthand what top-tier, attentive pet care looks like. Today, I'm a proud cat mom to two of my own, and I bring that lifetime of knowledge, safety, and deep love for animals to every dog and cat I watch. I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for the past two years, and I prioritize your pet’s comfort and your peace of mind. I’m currently in graduate school and am off for the summer, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets and work around your schedule. Safety isn’t just a checklist for me—it’s how I was raised. Growing up with a veterinarian father, I learned early on how to read animal body language, spot subtle signs of stress or discomfort, and handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally. I am highly vigilant during walks and drop-ins, ensuring: Secure Harnesses & Leashes: Double-checking all gear before we step outside. Environment Awareness: Avoiding high-traffic areas, unknown dogs, or extreme weather that could stress your pet. Strict Routine Adherence: Following your specific feeding, medication, and crate instructions down to the letter. When I visit your home, I treat it with the utmost respect, cleanliness, and security. Cat-Safe & Secure: As a proud owner of two cats myself, I am an expert at navigating the "door dart" maneuver. I ensure all doors and windows remain completely secure so your feline friends stay safely inside. Peace of Mind: I provide detailed updates, photos, and quick communication during every single visit so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Home Respect: I ensure muddy paws are wiped, water bowls are kept fresh, and your home is locked up securely when I leave.
“Laura did a great job with our kitties! She even took the time to bring in boxes from our porch. We have an older cat with an unusual no-litter situation which she was very willing to work with. It helped make our vacation less stressful knowing our boys were in good hands!”
About: Hello! My name is Christopher and I'm an actor who dreams of being in movies someday and performing all over the world. I work for Rover as a part-time job to help support my acting career and as my own "therapy" since I get to spend time making dogs, cats, and clients happy. I love all animals and have grown up around dogs and cats all my life. I have owned and cared for 4 dogs and 2 cats in my lifetime: a black Labrador Retriever, a hound mix, a Golden Retriever-Golden Lab mix, and a super-hyper Golden Irish (2 of whom were rescues, lived to be very old, and required daily medication, were often incontinent, and required almost constant attention). I also have experience with several other family dogs, ranging from a wiry little Bichon Frisé to multiple large and protective German Shepherds. Being a very active person who thrives off of physical activity, I'm all for long walks/jogs and lots of playtime. I love chilling, cuddling, and giving lots of pets and belly rubs as well. I love working on training dogs and feel very confident that I can win over the respect and trust of any dog. I want to highlight my experience taking care of elderly/sick dogs as well as young, highly energetic fur balls. My Golden Retriever-Lab, JACK, lived to be 11-years old and was diagnosed with a degenerative nerve disease that caused him to lose feeling in his hind legs. He struggled going up or down steps, was incontinent, and tended to drag his feet when walking (sometimes until his back paws were raw). Taking care of JACK required patience and a gentle but firm hand. I had to walk him multiple times a day (per the vet’s recommendation), clean up a trail of pee whenever he got up from sleeping, and wipe his butt or hold him up while he went “number two” as his legs would collapse under him so he often pooped on himself while laying down in a bed. My hound mix, LUCKY, lived to be 13-years old and, before he had one of his eyes removed, he was diagnosed with dry eye in both eyes and an ulcer and glaucoma in the other. I had to not only make sure his eyes stayed clean, but I had to administer several different eye drops at different times of the day (some were 3x/day, some were 2, some were 4). LUCKY definitely did not like getting eye drops put in, so I had to keep him calm but be firm enough that I could ensure all the drops went into his eyes. I love taking care of all dogs and cats. I believe all our pets just want our love and attention and since they love unconditionally, I try to pay them back in return. I am willing to go walking/running/jogging for a long walk with a highly energetic dog, or stay in and pet/care for older dogs and cats. I love working on training with dogs and would love to help owners train/teach their pooches as well. I cannot wait to meet your four-legged family members and provide whatever loving care and attention they need! Cheers! My full time job is auditioning for and working on theatre/film productions/projects in and around Cincinnati. However, I work for Rover part-time whenever my schedule allows and I get the chance to make some two-legged AND four-legged clients happy! Most of my availability is in the early mornings and anytime during the day. Most of my performing and rehearsing takes place in the evenings and nights but these times open up when I am not in shows. I am happy to provide whatever care the clients desire whether it be walking on specific trails or for specific lengths of time, working on particular training exercises/commands, administering medication, or following specific feeding instructions/dietary restrictions. I don't mind picking up dog poop in the yard, changing litter boxes, or changing doggie diapers for older dogs. I am used to having dogs be let out and free to run around and play inside, but I also have experience working with crates if clients prefer to to use them. I am not able to house pets in my own home but am more than happy to do check-ins, dog walks, or overnight stays in client's homes.
“Lots of great updates, looked like they had great quality time together! Brought peace of mind to see pics of my kitty having such a fun time when I had to find someone to take care of her at the last minute”

Absolutely fantastic experience with our pet sitter, Erika. She did an amazing job caring for my two cats, who are usually very wary of new people. By the end of her time with them, one of my cats even let her hold him which is a huge milestone and really shows how patient, calm, and gentle she was with both of them. Erika was very professional throughout, followed all instructions carefully, and always replied quickly, which really helped ease my stress while I was away. I felt completely confident knowing my two cats were in great hands. I would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

I always have a great experience Tanya taking care of my two playful cats! One of my cats requires medication, and she handles that with ease and care, which gives me so much peace of mind. It’s such a relief to know our pets are in good hands. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely be booking again!

Anise is such an excellent sitter! This was my first time using Rover and Anise made me feel extremely comfortable leaving my cat in her care. She was communicative, took lots of pictures, and always went above and beyond to make sure my cat was getting enough attention.
