Really appreciate her help and for sure will book her service again! Also very pleasant communication with her! Definitely can recommend Melissa!”

“Kris was absolutely amazing! Communicative, kind, trustworthy and most importantly, took great care of our fur babes. We will definitely be using her again and have already recommended her to friends! Thanks for helping us out this week!”

“Melissa did such an amazing job with our kitties! This is the first time we have ever left them overnight and she made sure to take the time to love them. Couldn’t recommend her more 💜”

“I have an aggressive dog (and then 3 others lol) and Jessalyn was absolutely amazing with them! She was here for two nights and when we got home the please looked better than when we left! She did an outstanding job, she communicated very very well. We will be asking her back!”

“Laura did a great job with our kitties! She even took the time to bring in boxes from our porch. We have an older cat with an unusual no-litter situation which she was very willing to work with. It helped make our vacation less stressful knowing our boys were in good hands!”

About: Growing up we always had dogs and cats, and I’ve been caring for my own dog and cat for the past four years. Also, my dog is a rescue who deals with anxiety. With that said, I have experience with dogs with anxiety, and am more than happy to provide extra love, affection, and gentleness for pets with anxiety. I can also administer some medications if needed. I’m also more than happy to clean any litter boxes and provide all the love and playtimes for the kitties out there! I currently only work a part time job, so I have lots of time to be of service to you and your animals! I also work in theatre, and have some rehearsals in the evenings. With that said I’m available before 5pm every day, and some days beyond that Due to my own dog’s anxiety and the smaller size of my home, I don’t offer boarding services. However, I’m more than happy to provide drop in services and walking services for anyone in the Cincinnati and surrounding areas!
“I was so worried about Simon but I came back from a 3week vacation and he was wonderful. I know this is because Alison took such good care of him. She was awesome. I would completely recommend her.”

About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for animals through pet sitting, family pets, and helping friends and relatives with their pets. While I do not currently have pets living in my apartment, I have access to a fenced-in lawn area and can provide plenty of exercise through walks around campus and nearby outdoor spaces. I am also comfortable caring for pets in their own home, whether that means overnight stays, extended visits, or quick drop-in check-ins throughout the day. I am comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and following any specific routines or instructions. I enjoy caring for dogs, cats, and other small animals and strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. My goal is to provide dependable care and give owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands. As a college student, my schedule is flexible and allows me to dedicate time to caring for pets throughout the week. I can provide walks, drop in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship while making sure pets stay on their normal routines. I am reliable, organized, and committed to giving pets the attention and care they deserve. I always prioritize a pet's safety, comfort, and well being. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully and work to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I make sure pets have fresh water, meals on schedule, exercise, and plenty of attention. I respect clients' homes, keep doors and gates secure, and provide updates so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe and happy while they are away.

“Kayla did an excellent job watching our kitties. She is very caring and even my shy cat came out to greet her! This is our second time using Kayla and we will definitely use her again.”

“Angel was super attentive to my cats while I was away, and coordinated with me through complicated travel schedules to make sure they would get the care that they need! I’m super thankful for her 💙”

About: I have experience working with both adult and young dogs - including training, walking, and sitting - from living with a roommate with multiple dogs. I have also helped walk and train other friends' dogs and am exited to take this experience into a profession! I am working towards getting a dog of my own. I currently do have a Full time job but I am just doing this part time as profession to build my clientle book and also to enjoy meeting new pets and pups to help grow as well. I am available usually in the mornings and weekends after 3PM. Since I am a renter I currently do not have a backyard at least yet but what I can provide for my clients is security and reassurance that your dog is in good hands. Also, I do not use negative reinforcement. I always use positive reinforcement.
About: I have spent over 4 years volunteering at animal shelters with both dogs and cats. I have also grown up with both dogs and cats - primarily small breeds. At the shelter I specialize in dogs, and have worked with breeds ranging from Cane Corsos to Toy Poodles. I like to both play and relax with dogs, and enjoy dog walking as part of an active lifestyle. I work full time, but WFH 3 days a week. The weekends are when I am most free, and prefer afternoons/evenings. I can be flexible if you reach our! I will check on your pet(s)' food and water supply in addition to making sure they use the facilities. I enjoy brushing pets as well!
“Katrina checked on my two cats while we were away on a 5 day trip and she was wonderful! She took great care of them and sent nice notes and photos that made us feel at peace.”

About: I have loved animals for my entire life— pet therapy is a real thing! Recently I started house and pet sitting and found I loved it because I got to get to know new animals. 💕 I would love the opportunity to get to know yours! I am currently in grad school asynchronously, so it will be no trouble at all for me to come over as often as you need me to! I am also happy to water your plants when you’re gone at no additional cost as well. 😎 I make it a point to know my clients’ animal(s) very well. I am well aware that each animal, whether it is a geriatric cat like my own or a young energetic puppy, has a unique personality and I always accommodate that in my care routine for them. Spending the time with them that they would get with you is key, as well as making sure they get plenty of enrichment. 🐾
“Dana took great care of our cat while we were away! She sent pictures and a detailed note everyday, which made us feel so much better! I would definitely recommend her for cat sitting.”

About: Hello! My name is Christopher and I'm an actor who dreams of being in movies someday and performing all over the world. I work for Rover as a part-time job to help support my acting career and as my own "therapy" since I get to spend time making dogs, cats, and clients happy. I love all animals and have grown up around dogs and cats all my life. I have owned and cared for 4 dogs and 2 cats in my lifetime: a black Labrador Retriever, a hound mix, a Golden Retriever-Golden Lab mix, and a super-hyper Golden Irish (2 of whom were rescues, lived to be very old, and required daily medication, were often incontinent, and required almost constant attention). I also have experience with several other family dogs, ranging from a wiry little Bichon Frisé to multiple large and protective German Shepherds. Being a very active person who thrives off of physical activity, I'm all for long walks/jogs and lots of playtime. I love chilling, cuddling, and giving lots of pets and belly rubs as well. I love working on training dogs and feel very confident that I can win over the respect and trust of any dog. I want to highlight my experience taking care of elderly/sick dogs as well as young, highly energetic fur balls. My Golden Retriever-Lab, JACK, lived to be 11-years old and was diagnosed with a degenerative nerve disease that caused him to lose feeling in his hind legs. He struggled going up or down steps, was incontinent, and tended to drag his feet when walking (sometimes until his back paws were raw). Taking care of JACK required patience and a gentle but firm hand. I had to walk him multiple times a day (per the vet’s recommendation), clean up a trail of pee whenever he got up from sleeping, and wipe his butt or hold him up while he went “number two” as his legs would collapse under him so he often pooped on himself while laying down in a bed. My hound mix, LUCKY, lived to be 13-years old and, before he had one of his eyes removed, he was diagnosed with dry eye in both eyes and an ulcer and glaucoma in the other. I had to not only make sure his eyes stayed clean, but I had to administer several different eye drops at different times of the day (some were 3x/day, some were 2, some were 4). LUCKY definitely did not like getting eye drops put in, so I had to keep him calm but be firm enough that I could ensure all the drops went into his eyes. I love taking care of all dogs and cats. I believe all our pets just want our love and attention and since they love unconditionally, I try to pay them back in return. I am willing to go walking/running/jogging for a long walk with a highly energetic dog, or stay in and pet/care for older dogs and cats. I love working on training with dogs and would love to help owners train/teach their pooches as well. I cannot wait to meet your four-legged family members and provide whatever loving care and attention they need! Cheers! My full time job is auditioning for and working on theatre/film productions/projects in and around Cincinnati. However, I work for Rover part-time whenever my schedule allows and I get the chance to make some two-legged AND four-legged clients happy! Most of my availability is in the early mornings and anytime during the day. Most of my performing and rehearsing takes place in the evenings and nights but these times open up when I am not in shows. I am happy to provide whatever care the clients desire whether it be walking on specific trails or for specific lengths of time, working on particular training exercises/commands, administering medication, or following specific feeding instructions/dietary restrictions. I don't mind picking up dog poop in the yard, changing litter boxes, or changing doggie diapers for older dogs. I am used to having dogs be let out and free to run around and play inside, but I also have experience working with crates if clients prefer to to use them. I am not able to house pets in my own home but am more than happy to do check-ins, dog walks, or overnight stays in client's homes.
North Fairmount pet parents share their Rover experiences
Angel is the best and will always be our go-to for all of our kitties!! We have 6 cats, some with bigger personalities, and she does so good taking care of them all and making sure each of them get attention. Angel took care of our kitties for 2 full weeks this time and did an amazing job, was communicative, and we came back to happy kitties and a clean house just the way we left it! Thanks, Angel!!

Absolutely fantastic experience with our pet sitter, Erika. She did an amazing job caring for my two cats, who are usually very wary of new people. By the end of her time with them, one of my cats even let her hold him which is a huge milestone and really shows how patient, calm, and gentle she was with both of them. Erika was very professional throughout, followed all instructions carefully, and always replied quickly, which really helped ease my stress while I was away. I felt completely confident knowing my two cats were in great hands. I would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Anise is such an excellent sitter! This was my first time using Rover and Anise made me feel extremely comfortable leaving my cat in her care. She was communicative, took lots of pictures, and always went above and beyond to make sure my cat was getting enough attention.

Mimi was WONDERFUL with Enzo. I had not planned on adopting so soon, but fell in love with the little man! I had business travel already scheduled so I needed someone quickly and who would give him a little extra care since he’s new and just a baby. I will definitely book them again to watch him in my home! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Too many visits to specifically comment. Carson is communicative, flexible and takes great care of my fur babies. One pup is special needs and Carson is patient with her, does her eye drops and changes her diaper. He has done house sitting also where he gives them their medication including insulin shots. When I return they look well cared for and happy. I feel secure my pups are cared for with Carson.
