About: Animals have been so much the center of my life that I made it my career! I am a professional dog trainer with an education through Jean Donaldson's Academy for Dog Trainer's. Let me bring that experience to carrying for your best friend's when you need a set of extra hands. I have loved and cared for pets my entire life! Growing up we had cats, dogs, birds and lizards. Currently I have two Great Pyrenees and one cat of great personaity. They have been my guides in the wonderful world of clicker training. Ghost, my rescue dog, has given me a lot of experience with anxious, sensitive dogs that need a little more time and care. Where as Nanuk has shown me how to handle dogs with a ton of drive and intelligence. And how to harness that despite physical limitations. And my cat... well, he comes running whenever I get the treat bag and clicker and has his own variation on all the dogs tricks. ;) I look forward to meeting your pets and seeing what I can learn from them! I am currently working part time and happy to work with you on scheduling. My husband is also retired which allows me a lot of flexibility for being away from home I do not care for client pets in my home. When is someone else's home I will do my best to continue your pet's usual routine while you are away.

About: I grew up with five cats and one dog, and have helped pet sit friends’ dogs. I am very comfortable playing, feeding, going on walks, cleaning litter boxes, etc. I now have my own tripod cat as well, so I have also learned a lot about caring for pets with different needs! I will be working part time, and not taking classes this summer semester. So I will have plenty of time to stop by throughout the week. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and stick to their usual routine. I am very careful on checking that doors, gates, and leashes are secure. I follow all instructions closely and keep owners regularly updated!

About: Hello! I have been caring for dogs since I was young where I grew up on a small rural farm. We have had all different kinds of breeds and sizes of dogs growing up! I love walking, playing, and caring for your animals and hope to help you when you need me! I am currently attending the University of Cincinnati this summer. While having class everyday, I only have a couple classes per day which leaves plenty of time for me to take care of your dogs! I am willing to work with the owners to figure out times that work best for everyone. Weekends will be my best availability for the entire day. I have experience walking all sized dogs and can attest to being successful in caring for other fur babies. I can follow any instructions given for the animal and whatever is needed for your pet!

About: Growing up we always had dogs and cats, and I’ve been caring for my own dog and cat for the past four years. Also, my dog is a rescue who deals with anxiety. With that said, I have experience with dogs with anxiety, and am more than happy to provide extra love, affection, and gentleness for pets with anxiety. I can also administer some medications if needed. I’m also more than happy to clean any litter boxes and provide all the love and playtimes for the kitties out there! I currently only work a part time job, so I have lots of time to be of service to you and your animals! I also work in theatre, and have some rehearsals in the evenings. With that said I’m available before 5pm every day, and some days beyond that Due to my own dog’s anxiety and the smaller size of my home, I don’t offer boarding services. However, I’m more than happy to provide drop in services and walking services for anyone in the Cincinnati and surrounding areas!

About: My experience goes back to being the go-to walker for our family dog as a kid to minding my cat today. It’s not unusual for me to meet a dog or cat and become acquainted in minutes I work from home with a flexible schedule. Therefore, I can be on-call at various times. I’m also used to fitting pet care for my cat into my daily routine. I make sure to follow all instructions laid out by the pet parent and get clarification wherever necessary, as well as communicate any issues that may arise.

About: Although I currently have two pets of my own, I can’t get enough of animals. Therefore, spending time with other pets warms my heart endlessly. I have two cats that require lots of attention and love. They have separate feeding times and amounts, have multiple litter boxes, and need frequent brushings. One cat has urinary tract issues and sometimes has accidents that have to be cleaned up multiple times a day. They also enjoy being chased as a form of exercise, as well as “hunting” for their toys. My one cat is allowed outside only if he is being held or is in his harness. The other cat does not go outside. I live very close to a road so I do not like the idea of letting my cats out on their own.

“Alison has been very reliable and responsive. She’s been walking our new puppy for the last couple weeks to help us get her out of the crate during our work day so she isn’t in there more than 4hrs. Puppy dealing with some pretty bad stomach issues and Alison very helpful with this as far as checking in with worried pup mom and offering more water/different options when pup not up for a walk. She’s been wonderful and we’re very grateful. Will continue to use her services as long as we can and are in a situation where work schedule forces pup into crate for too many hours.”

About: I have spent over 4 years volunteering at animal shelters with both dogs and cats. I have also grown up with both dogs and cats - primarily small breeds. At the shelter I specialize in dogs, and have worked with breeds ranging from Cane Corsos to Toy Poodles. I like to both play and relax with dogs, and enjoy dog walking as part of an active lifestyle. I work full time, but WFH 3 days a week. The weekends are when I am most free, and prefer afternoons/evenings. I can be flexible if you reach our! I will check on your pet(s)' food and water supply in addition to making sure they use the facilities. I enjoy brushing pets as well!

About: Hello! My name is Carson, and I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule. I have been around animals my entire life. Whether it is for a short walk or an extended overnight stay, I am flexible, reliable, responsible, and excited to spend time with your dogs, cats, and other pets, both inside and outside. I especially like to house sit, take care of cats, and walk dogs but am willing to do other tasks. Unfortunately, I am unable to board your dogs due to apartment limitations, and I do not accept bookings that are longer than 1 week. I'm currently a graduate student with a very flexible and variable schedule, so I can come to your house during weekdays and weekends as needed! I care for pets in my clients' homes where they are most safe and comfortable. I will let them out in fenced yards and take them on neighborhood walks!

About: I have had 9 cats of my own. I have cared for kittens from age 2 weeks old, having to bottle feed them to senior cats who needed medication. I'm open with owners about things I find. I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. The owner was so glad I caught these things and informed them. I have driven pets to the vet for a client. I have walked dogs, and cared for chickens and geckos. I am precise when following directions provided by the pet owner. I LOVE taking pictures of pets and will send them over every day. I have 4 cats of my own, so their care is a daily routine for me. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for other pets. I usually go to the clients' home for pet sitting cats or dog walking. Although, I have a fenced-in yard with a privacy fence, which allows me to have dogs over.

About: I have 2 cats. I’ve dog sat 3 times and cat sat once. I’ve helped walk energetic dogs and senior dogs. I’ve administered medication to the senior dog and helped her when she had a seizure. I worked with a feeding schedule as well. I’ve worked with fish and lizards before as well. I treat every animal with care. I’m working full time over the summer but part time when school starts. I’m looking forward to working with you all. I can stop by before my job and after my job. I start at 7:30 and end at 3:30 during the week. I’m off on weekends I have a cozy apartment and I’m close to downtown if I need to travel to take care of someone else’s pet. I will follow the guidelines the owner gives me.

Now that I’m in school, I really miss having a dog of my own, but I know I don’t currently have the time to fully raise one. That’s actually what drew me to Rover: I get to spend time caring for and loving dogs while also helping owners in my community feel confident their pets are in good hands. I genuinely love dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I take caring for them seriously.
