I’ve been caring for pets since I was 9, starting with neighbors’ dogs and cats and even smaller pets like fish and hamsters. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. This ranged from an 80 lb golden retriever who was reactive to other dogs (and needed careful attention to walking instructions) to a senior pup who required daily medication and wore a diaper. I currently volunteer with Cincinnati Animal CARE, where I walk dogs of all experience levels to give them time out of their kennels, and I’m also involved with 4Paws, helping train service dog puppies under a year old. Through all these experiences, I’ve learned how to tailor my care to each dog’s unique needs and personality, whether that means energetic morning walks, patient training sessions, or calm evening check-ins.
