About: As an animal lover, I’ve watched my friends cats & dogs while they’re out of town. My favorite part of watching them is taking them on walks along with giving them lots of cuddles & play time. I currently work as an esthetician & artist who creates my own schedule based off of appointments & gigs. My career is flexible & allows me to care for animals most time of the day & week! In my own home, I make sure my cats receive playtime, attention, pets & cuddles. Within a clients home, I’d make sure to understand each individuals animals needs and how they are typically cared for. This is vital to me, so the animals are able to maintain their same routine & schedule alongside receiving the care & playtime they deserve.

About: I have spent over 4 years volunteering at animal shelters with both dogs and cats. I have also grown up with both dogs and cats - primarily small breeds. At the shelter I specialize in dogs, and have worked with breeds ranging from Cane Corsos to Toy Poodles. I like to both play and relax with dogs, and enjoy dog walking as part of an active lifestyle. I work full time, but WFH 3 days a week. The weekends are when I am most free, and prefer afternoons/evenings. I can be flexible if you reach our! I will check on your pet(s)' food and water supply in addition to making sure they use the facilities. I enjoy brushing pets as well!

About: I have always owned dogs and one is medium sized and one is small. I got a five month old puppy when I was 14 and trained her fully. I dog sit for family and friends and want to expand and do more dog sitting! I love cuddling with dogs, taking them for walks, and playing with them. I adore dogs so much that I did a research presentation in a public speaking class about different dog breeds and their traits! In the summer, I am a part time nanny for a wonderful family. As of right now, I am available on Monday mornings and early afternoons, Friday afternoons and nights, and all day Saturdays and Sundays. During the school year, I am away at college as a nursing student but come home for a few days monthly. I am fully capable of giving your dog walks, clean up their mess, give medication, crate them, etc., genuinely anything that is important to you! I will give so many belly rubs and cuddles as well.

About: I have had animals since I was 5 and started the learning process of how to take care of them at that age as well. Starting at 15, I started to take care of neighbors’ and friends’ pets when they have gone on vacation. I have experience and am comfortable with all sizes and ages of pets! I am able to train basic skills as well, such as sit, paw, lay down, and stay! I’m currently a full-time student who volunteers and shadows veterinarians. So most days I’m able to do three drop ins per day. In the morning before my classes at 9 AM, during lunch time, and then after 4 pm and the rest of my night is free aside from homework and studying! On the weekends I am more freely available aside from volunteering in the mornings some days and taking care of my own dog! I will give your fur baby love, cuddles, and proper care as if they’re my own! I would appreciate a list of what they are used to day to day so I can give them as close to their normal routine as possible!

About: I grew up with five cats and one dog, and have helped pet sit friends’ dogs. I am very comfortable playing, feeding, going on walks, cleaning litter boxes, etc. I now have my own tripod cat as well, so I have also learned a lot about caring for pets with different needs! I will be working part time, and not taking classes this summer semester. So I will have plenty of time to stop by throughout the week. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and stick to their usual routine. I am very careful on checking that doors, gates, and leashes are secure. I follow all instructions closely and keep owners regularly updated!

“Alison has been very reliable and responsive. She’s been walking our new puppy for the last couple weeks to help us get her out of the crate during our work day so she isn’t in there more than 4hrs. Puppy dealing with some pretty bad stomach issues and Alison very helpful with this as far as checking in with worried pup mom and offering more water/different options when pup not up for a walk. She’s been wonderful and we’re very grateful. Will continue to use her services as long as we can and are in a situation where work schedule forces pup into crate for too many hours.”

About: Hi! My name is Claire, and I’m someone who has always had dogs growing up — they’ve been a huge part of my life. Now that I’m in school, I really miss having a dog of my own, but I know I don’t currently have the time to fully raise one. That’s actually what drew me to Rover: I get to spend time caring for and loving dogs while also helping owners in my community feel confident their pets are in good hands. About: Animals have been so much the center of my life that I made it my career! I am a professional dog trainer with an education through Jean Donaldson's Academy for Dog Trainer's. Let me bring that experience to carrying for your best friend's when you need a set of extra hands. I have loved and cared for pets my entire life! Growing up we had cats, dogs, birds and lizards. Currently I have two Great Pyrenees and one cat of great personaity. They have been my guides in the wonderful world of clicker training. Ghost, my rescue dog, has given me a lot of experience with anxious, sensitive dogs that need a little more time and care. Where as Nanuk has shown me how to handle dogs with a ton of drive and intelligence. And how to harness that despite physical limitations. And my cat... well, he comes running whenever I get the treat bag and clicker and has his own variation on all the dogs tricks. ;) I look forward to meeting your pets and seeing what I can learn from them! I am currently working part time and happy to work with you on scheduling. My husband is also retired which allows me a lot of flexibility for being away from home I do not care for client pets in my home. When is someone else's home I will do my best to continue your pet's usual routine while you are away.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10. I currently live with my own cat Peanut, but I grew up with 2 cats and a dog. I am very comfortable around rowdy, big, and loud dogs. I work part time at Aldi as a stocker, my schedule varies by week but I work 4-5am to 10am. I am able to come and go as needed in the evening and afternoon. I am good at making sure the house is locked and the animals are happy before finally departing. I am very devoted to making sure that animals in my care are incredibly spoiled and happy.

About: My experience goes back to being the go-to walker for our family dog as a kid to minding my cat today. It’s not unusual for me to meet a dog or cat and become acquainted in minutes I work from home with a flexible schedule. Therefore, I can be on-call at various times. I’m also used to fitting pet care for my cat into my daily routine. I make sure to follow all instructions laid out by the pet parent and get clarification wherever necessary, as well as communicate any issues that may arise.

I am retired now. I'm looking for a fulfilling way to make extra money doing something I love. Why not care for another's pet daily. And please, serious requests only. I can only come to the pet's residence. Since I am a cat owner, I understand that they need to be in their own environment. Also, I'm not sure how my cat would act if I brought your pooch to stay for the day. I have no problem caring for your pet in their own environment.

About: Although I currently have two pets of my own, I can’t get enough of animals. Therefore, spending time with other pets warms my heart endlessly. I have two cats that require lots of attention and love. They have separate feeding times and amounts, have multiple litter boxes, and need frequent brushings. One cat has urinary tract issues and sometimes has accidents that have to be cleaned up multiple times a day. They also enjoy being chased as a form of exercise, as well as “hunting” for their toys. My one cat is allowed outside only if he is being held or is in his harness. The other cat does not go outside. I live very close to a road so I do not like the idea of letting my cats out on their own.
