“Chrissy was great with my dog! I'm still new to rover.com and was a little nervous to leave my dog with someone I didn't know. HOWEVER, I felt comfortable with Chrissy from the start and was actually excited that Mr. Miyagi (the dog) got to stay someplace where I felt he'd be really cared for. And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance. I wanted someone who could recognize his allergies and respond accordingly if needed. Chrissy was great! I give her 4 "dog thumbs" up!”

About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dog(s) whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely!). Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are the 3 days I have classes and I'm always home after that! Tuesday and Thursday I have a 2-hour class, and Saturday is my long day with a 10 hour clinical so my bookings will be closed for that specific day. The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate for your animal, you can bring that as well for me to use if I must leave for a short time.

I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. The owner was so glad I caught these things and informed them. I have driven pets to the vet for a client. I have walked dogs, and cared for chickens and geckos. About: I've owned and cared for dogs and cats my whole life and this is the first time I'm without my own. I'm very good at feeling animals needs out and staying connected with them so that they feel as comfortable as possible in a new space. About: Since about 12 years old my neighborhood friends would hire me to dogs sit while their family went out of town. I’ve always had a huge amount of love for animals so I never had any problem doing so. Fast forward 5 years later my parents began breeding French bulldogs. My siblings and I had a lot of responsibility on our hands are far as feeding them, bathing, keeping them groomed, making sure they’re up to date on shots and etc. I currently work from home so that’s enables me with plenty of free time to walk, play with/take to the park, and feed your lovely animals! In my home my dog is crate trained. I do have a crate for my puppy for if friends come over and are not comfortable with him I can put him away for a few hours. I prefer all animals be crate trained , but only go to the crate if they would like to do so. I do not mind dogs walking around my house. I have a puppy of my own so every morning I get up and take my puppy on a 30 minute walk as well as every evening once I get home from work. I have an animal friendly house so I usually let pups/kittys run around the house as long as they’ve been fed and taken out for a potty break.

About: I grew up with five cats and one dog, and have helped pet sit friends’ dogs. I am very comfortable playing, feeding, going on walks, cleaning litter boxes, etc. I now have my own tripod cat as well, so I have also learned a lot about caring for pets with different needs! I will be working part time, and not taking classes this summer semester. So I will have plenty of time to stop by throughout the week. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and stick to their usual routine. I am very careful on checking that doors, gates, and leashes are secure. I follow all instructions closely and keep owners regularly updated!
About: Growing up we always had dogs and cats, and I’ve been caring for my own dog and cat for the past four years. Also, my dog is a rescue who deals with anxiety. About: I am a cat owner and have several years of experience volunteering at an animal shelter spending time with dogs and cats while caring for them. I am off of work for the summer and have open availability for new clients. I am open to one-time and repeated visits both during the week, weekends, and holidays. I am looking for dog walking and drop-in visits. I follow the client's instructions and will contact the client with any questions. I love to play with animals and make sure that there needs are met.

“Chrissy was great with my dog! I'm still new to rover.com and was a little nervous to leave my dog with someone I didn't know. HOWEVER, I felt comfortable with Chrissy from the start and was actually excited that Mr. Miyagi (the dog) got to stay someplace where I felt he'd be really cared for. And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance. I wanted someone who could recognize his allergies and respond accordingly if needed. Chrissy was great! I give her 4 "dog thumbs" up!”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in high school. I have experience in dog walking, watching pets at my home or theirs, and volunteering at local shelters. I'm currently working full time, so I am available nights and weekends to board your pet. This is to ensure that I can give your pet the attention they deserve! Jenna even sent texts and photos which reassured us Coco was doing well. We never like to leave Coco at a kennel when we go out of town. She is confined in a kennel with limited attention.
