100% work from home Animal Lover

About me? -Raised by two animal lovers. People thought we lived on a farm, but they were all pets. We had barns, a pond, and land with goats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, geese, dogs cats. Even bottle fed baby racoons, opossums, and deer when their mothers were hit by cars on our road. Our animals were always treated like family and did everything we could to keep them healthy and happy. Shots, medicine, baths, special care are all no issues here. Why do I Rover? -For the last few years I had a senior cat I adopted. He was my buddy and unfortunately, he passed away. I work from home and live alone, and now my place is empty. I like being able to Rover so that I can spend time with animals without the full responsibility and financial cost of ownership. I'm also often out of town on weekends so it would not be fair to the animal for me to get another pet of my own. What can you expect from me? -Fast communication. I always have my phone on me and charged. -TONS of photos. When I used to have my cat and would travel, I would have Rovers stop in every day. Always frustrating to only get one photo. I will be sure to send you photos all throughout the day of your pet: napping, eating, playing, laying in the sun, you name it. I know how worrisome it is to leave your family member with someone else. -I work from home 100% of the time so will always be home with your pet except when running evening errands, your pet will rarely be out of sight. -You are always welcome to stop in and see my apartment as well as the pet spa and building amenities when you drop off your pet. -Immediate communication if any issues arise: strange eating habits, changes in behavior, questions, anything at all that may be of concern, I would rather be safe than sorry. -Happy to facetime or anything else as needed if you miss your pet.

Tyler did an incredible job taking care of our cat, who has a rather challenging personality. He was incredibly caring, patient, and created a comfortable environment for our cat to thrive in. He kept us informed multiple times a day through messages and shared amazing photos and videos. We completely relied on him, and he exceeded our expectations. Now that we’re planning to leave the city again, we know exactly who to call to board our cat.

Tyler was amazing with Finn. Super communicative the entire time which gave me a ton of peace of mind while I was away. He sent plenty of photos and videos, and you could tell Finn was genuinely happy and comfortable the whole stay. Tyler clearly cares and treats your dog like his own. Everything was smooth, easy, and stress free from start to finish. Would absolutely book with Tyler again without hesitation.

I’ve had an amazing experience with Tyler! He is incredibly reliable and always flexible with schedule changes, which I truly appreciate. From the start, I felt completely comfortable trusting him with my small dog, and that peace of mind has been priceless. My dog is always well cared for, and I honestly haven’t wanted anyone else to walk him. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dependable and trustworthy walker.

Tyler is amazing! He walked my Lulu for a mile since he knows she’s been trying to lose some weight. He’s very responsive and sends lots of pictures. Very caring and is willing to help however he can.

Safety, trust & environment

Where do I live? -Downtown at 4th and Plum apartments. I am by myself in a one bedroom. The apartment has a “pet spa” located conveniently on my floor. The pet spa has a dog washing station, drying station, brushes, combs, everything needed. The building is very pet friendly. In the summers I keep my place at 72 degrees and in the winters around 74. As far as walking goes, I do a mix of walking near my apartment downtown, as well as after work hopping in the car and going to Smale park by the river as well as Washington park in OTR. Additionally, Dr. Bob’s veterinary clinic is across the street from me, a thirty second walk.

A typical day

Wake up. Take the pup for a walk around the Bengal's stadium - lots of grassy areas there. Maybe go to the cafe downstairs to grab a free treat for them. Then working while the pup enjoys the city view from my couch. Throw toys down my hallway for them to chase while I work. Lunch walk around downtown and after work maybe take a quick ride to Washington park in OTR, Smale park by the river, or Ault park is nice as well after work. Tons of photos for you along the way!

If they bark often or need any medicine. Also how often they like to play versus sleep and relax. If they are friendly if we are to share my elevator with other dogs. And if there are any oddities in their behavior I need to watch out for.
