“Rowan was absolutely amazing with our "senior" kitty, Maggie. Maggie is a very social cat, and we were going to be gone for almost three weeks. Rowan came every day, stayed 1 hour, and gave us great updates on how Maggie was doing - with a pic or two every time. She showed great judgment about not taking Maggie outside the first couple of days but then doing it for the later days, always at the start of her visit, so she could lure Maggie back in with food if needed. (I had given Rowan the choice of letting Maggie out to get fresh air or just stay in with her.) Rowan was terrific, very responsible. We'd have her again in a heartbeat.”

About: I have always owned dogs and one is medium sized and one is small. I got a five month old puppy when I was 14 and trained her fully. I dog sit for family and friends and want to expand and do more dog sitting! I love cuddling with dogs, taking them for walks, and playing with them. I adore dogs so much that I did a research presentation in a public speaking class about different dog breeds and their traits! In the summer, I am a part time nanny for a wonderful family. As of right now, I am available on Monday mornings and early afternoons, Friday afternoons and nights, and all day Saturdays and Sundays. During the school year, I am away at college as a nursing student but come home for a few days monthly. I am fully capable of giving your dog walks, clean up their mess, give medication, crate them, etc., genuinely anything that is important to you! I will give so many belly rubs and cuddles as well.

About: I had my own rescue dog (Miss Bean) for 10 years before she passed away earlier this year. As a prior dog owner, I am well-positioned to take care of small and medium-sized dogs who need some extra care during the day. I am working full time, so most of my services will be on weekends or in the evening. Not having a dog of my own allows me to work around your pup’s needs. I am super organized and follow directions well - you know your dogs best as their parent and I will honor your wishes/preferences, all while giving your pup the pets and love they deserve. I do not have a dog of my own since Beans passing, so your dog will have my full attention.

We first video chatted and I knew I selected someone with pet experience and a real love and connection towards animals. Both of us felt the sincerity and warmth immediately. The dogs, one of which is not social both liked her spirit. Misty followed instrucions and requests to a t, was prompt and thorough. So glad I chose Misty to allow us to be gone Christmas day and not worry the dogs were in excellent care. Thank you for facilitating a break away from home and lovingly checkimg on our 2 dogs.”
