“Laura did a great job with our kitties! She even took the time to bring in boxes from our porch. We have an older cat with an unusual no-litter situation which she was very willing to work with. It helped make our vacation less stressful knowing our boys were in good hands!”
“Andrea has been so good to my mini dachshund. My dog is sometimes anxious, stubborn, and can lash out a bit if she is triggered. But Andrea has remained patient and given me frequent updates on her visits. She is great!!”

“I’m very happy that I found Melissa! She was very gentle and kind with my beloved cat, she spent the entire time of her visit with him, sent me detailed update and cute pictures! Really appreciate her help and for sure will book her service again! Also very pleasant communication with her! Definitely can recommend Melissa!”

“Jessalyn is just the best. She’s consistant, she’s flexible, she’s kind and caring, and she absolutely goes above and beyond every time! I am and will continue to be a repeat customer for sure.”

“Melissa did such an amazing job with our kitties! This is the first time we have ever left them overnight and she made sure to take the time to love them. Couldn’t recommend her more 💜”

“Misr is very personable. She came for a visit ( which was with my partner)aince it was her first time dropping in to care for the two dogs. We first video chatted and I knew I selected someone with pet experience and a real love and connection towards animals. Both of us felt the sincerity and warmth immediately. The dogs, one of which is not social both liked her spirit. Misty followed instrucions and requests to a t, was prompt and thorough. So glad I chose Misty to allow us to be gone Christmas day and not worry the dogs were in excellent care. Thank you for facilitating a break away from home and lovingly checkimg on our 2 dogs.”

“Kayla did an excellent job watching our kitties. She is very caring and even my shy cat came out to greet her! This is our second time using Kayla and we will definitely use her again.”

About: I have had at least one dog since I was born as I grew up in an animal loving family. For the past 11+ years I’ve been raising my own pack of three rescue dogs who I’ve trained and raised to be extremely social and friendly. They love making new fur friends. I currently work a regular office job, but am fairly flexible with my schedule and am almost always available on weekends (Friday - Sunday) and evenings. I have a completely fenced in yard and three friendly fur babies of my own that would love nothing more than to befriend and play with your dog(s). I can also do house visits to come to your place and give one on one time with your fur baby and make sure they’re safe and comfortable.
“Emma was amazing with our dog while we were away on vacation! She followed all of our instructions perfectly and went above and beyond. We received photos and updates at every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Dolly was well cared for and loved while we were gone. We will definitely be using Emma again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I have experience working with both adult and young dogs - including training, walking, and sitting - from living with a roommate with multiple dogs. I have also helped walk and train other friends' dogs and am exited to take this experience into a profession! I am working towards getting a dog of my own. I currently do have a Full time job but I am just doing this part time as profession to build my clientle book and also to enjoy meeting new pets and pups to help grow as well. I am available usually in the mornings and weekends after 3PM. Since I am a renter I currently do not have a backyard at least yet but what I can provide for my clients is security and reassurance that your dog is in good hands. Also, I do not use negative reinforcement. I always use positive reinforcement.
“This was Olivia’s second time taking care of our two cats while we were away, and we hope to work again with her in the future! She is a wonderful caretaker and we know our kitties are always in good hands with her. Thanks, Olivia!”

About: I have loved animals for my entire life— pet therapy is a real thing! Recently I started house and pet sitting and found I loved it because I got to get to know new animals. 💕 I would love the opportunity to get to know yours! I am currently in grad school asynchronously, so it will be no trouble at all for me to come over as often as you need me to! I am also happy to water your plants when you’re gone at no additional cost as well. 😎 I make it a point to know my clients’ animal(s) very well. I am well aware that each animal, whether it is a geriatric cat like my own or a young energetic puppy, has a unique personality and I always accommodate that in my care routine for them. Spending the time with them that they would get with you is key, as well as making sure they get plenty of enrichment. 🐾
“Sarah is truly the best. Every time we need someone to check in on our cat when we are out of town, she is always our first call. She goes above and beyond - keeping us informed, grabbing the mail, cleaning up our cat’s random puke (sorry again), and is just a great human. We really can trust and rely on her. I can’t recommend her highly enough.”

About: I've rescued and fostered many dogs & cats. I'm a volunteer for a wildlife rescue and care for all animals. I treat your furbaby like my own. I've never had an animal escape or get hurt on my watch. I am self employed and work from home so I give my pets all of my time. I do not crate my dogs however I have an extra large crate TV stand in case I needed to. My home is designed around animals to make life easy and functional. I own my home, its a ranch home. There is one step in front and 3 to go out the back door. If your dog doesn't do well with steps, we can go out the front. We have a half acre yard in a wooded residential area that is completely fenced in. We are outdoors all the time and when my pets go out, I'm out there with them. I would care for your dogs the same way when in my home. My cats and dogs, co exist together great and my dogs love other dogs! My dogs have lived with fosters and foster fails! Pets are allowed on the furniture but not on my bed. In the event they wanted to sleep with my dogs in my room that would just fine. We have plenty of room and dog crates if we needed to crate them also.
About: I’ve provided care for pups in the Northside and the surrounding Cincinnati area for the past decade, and I’m excited to meet you and your pal! I’m adaptable, organized, and have a keen attention to detail which helps me individualize my care for each of my Rover clients. Currently pausing boarding services as I’m looking to establish new client relationships for summer of 2026. If you need a routine dog walker or daily check-ins for your pet, I’d love to connect! Growing up, the rescue my family adopted became my best friend! Since he was abandoned, it took years of dedication and persistence for him to grow comfortable with us and thrive. This experience has given me the patience to earn each animals trust on their terms and adjust my care based on their needs. I’m comfortable taking my time and communicating with you throughout the stay to ensure your loved one gets everything they need! I’m confident administering medication, following their routine, and finding new and fun ways to eat up their energy - all to be sure they’re squared away until your return ❤️ *Kindly review the rate of services quoted to you before confirming a booking and please reach out with any questions!* I accept a limited number of bookings each month to ensure quality of care! I work full-time, but can arrange full-time care depending on your family's needs. My partner Curt is also available to assist in potty breaks or additional walks throughout the day for boarding stays - two for the price of one! Care of your house and home is as important to me as the care of your loved ones. I thoroughly clean during and after each house stay. I'm glad to manage care of outdoor gardens and houseplants too! I always take note of special directions to maintain your space while you’re away - just say the word! It’s my hope that each and every one of my clients feels safe and sound leaving their family in my care. We ask that dog clients are fully crate trained and owners provide the crate for the duration of their stay for those interested in boarding services. Many thanks! *A note to cat owners booking boarding: if possible, please arrange to bring your cat’s litter box and a familiar item like their bed/toys during boarding to help them acclimate to our space!*
Mount Airy pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lisa did an AMAZING job watching my senior cat over 9 days. Our regular sitter was out of town, so I was nervous about finding someone new. She exceeded all expectations, including administering two types of medications (that came up at the last minute). She provided excellent, detailed updates that put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Lisa!!

Andie did great with my two big babies. They can look intimidating at first but she came in with clear confidence and knowledge of how to handle meeting dogs for the first time. They loved and listened to her and I had zero issues, will for sure be rebooking her for the next time I need a drop in visit. Thanks Andie!
