It seems Shauna does a great job in managing the furry guests she has, making sure all the pups are respectful of one another, and is able to separate everyone out as needed. Her huge yard was a big selling point. I know having the ability to run around off leash is something my dogs really benefit from, and knowing the yard is securely fenced gives me tremendous peace of mind. They can romp around, play, sniff, and explore without me worrying about the risks of neighborhood walks or dog parks. Both pups came home tired and happy. I cannot recommend Shauna enough!”

About: I have had 9 cats of my own. I have cared for kittens from age 2 weeks old, having to bottle feed them to senior cats who needed medication. I'm open with owners about things I find. I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. The owner was so glad I caught these things and informed them. I have driven pets to the vet for a client. I have walked dogs, and cared for chickens and geckos. I am precise when following directions provided by the pet owner. I LOVE taking pictures of pets and will send them over every day. I have 4 cats of my own, so their care is a daily routine for me. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for other pets. I usually go to the clients' home for pet sitting cats or dog walking. Although, I have a fenced-in yard with a privacy fence, which allows me to have dogs over.
About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely!). Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are the 3 days I have classes and I'm always home after that! Tuesday and Thursday I have a 2-hour class, and Saturday is my long day with a 10 hour clinical so my bookings will be closed for that specific day. The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate for your animal, you can bring that as well for me to use if I must leave for a short time.

She read the long list I gave her of info on our dog and sent multiple updates during the day. And she was able to handle my dogs quirky behavior really well (a mini dachshund). I really recommend Rachelle if you want ur dog to have more individualized care than just a boarding kennel. And Rachelle is really nice as well. I’ll be coming back for sure when we go out of town!”

She sent me updates and answered my questions about how mocha was doing in a timely fashion. Lisa sent me pictures each day of the puppy friends Mocha was playing/staying with. “Shauna did a wonderful job with our pups while we were away this past weekend, and we will absolutely be utilizing her services again in the future. She provided pictures and updates while we were gone, and it seemed our dogs settled in very nicely and had a great time. It seems Shauna does a great job in managing the furry guests she has, making sure all the pups are respectful of one another, and is able to separate everyone out as needed. Her huge yard was a big selling point. I know having the ability to run around off leash is something my dogs really benefit from, and knowing the yard is securely fenced gives me tremendous peace of mind. They can romp around, play, sniff, and explore without me worrying about the risks of neighborhood walks or dog parks. Both pups came home tired and happy. I cannot recommend Shauna enough!”
“Wow, I was so pleased with Abbie as a sitter for our two 10 month old Winston & Riley. My anxiety level dropped from the pictures she sent, we would look forward to her updates. I could see the content in our boys eyes & the bonus was how her children loved on them during their five day stay. This stay was the first time using Abbie & Rover and will not be the last. “I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”
