About: Hello! I have been caring for dogs since I was young where I grew up on a small rural farm. We have had all different kinds of breeds and sizes of dogs growing up! I love walking, playing, and caring for your animals and hope to help you when you need me! I am currently attending the University of Cincinnati this summer. While having class everyday, I only have a couple classes per day which leaves plenty of time for me to take care of your dogs! I am willing to work with the owners to figure out times that work best for everyone. Weekends will be my best availability for the entire day. I have experience walking all sized dogs and can attest to being successful in caring for other fur babies. I can follow any instructions given for the animal and whatever is needed for your pet!

About: I have had at least one dog since I was born as I grew up in an animal loving family. For the past 11+ years I’ve been raising my own pack of three rescue dogs who I’ve trained and raised to be extremely social and friendly. They love making new fur friends. I currently work a regular office job, but am fairly flexible with my schedule and am almost always available on weekends (Friday - Sunday) and evenings. I have a completely fenced in yard and three friendly fur babies of my own that would love nothing more than to befriend and play with your dog(s). I can also do house visits to come to your place and give one on one time with your fur baby and make sure they’re safe and comfortable.

Finding a small pet sitter is already difficult when websites and apps like these are only set up for cats and dogs, and I was searching last minute. I was in a complete panic, my friend had informed me that while the air bnb she booked accommodated dogs, they would not allow rodents, only a couple weeks before we planned to leave. I have two elderly guinea pigs with daily care needs. I had scrambled to book someone who then flaked on me, so I was left desperate to find another sitter with even shorter notice. Did I mention this was for a holiday weekend too? It was a recipe for disaster, so I can’t believe my luck that I found Sandy. She responded literally within the minute I sent the request. We planned to meet right after that, and when we met, even though I was only supposed to give her a tour, some instructions, and the keys— we genuinely talked for about 2 hours. She told me all about the street cats she has homed, the bunnies she’s cared for despite her hay allergies, and pet my dog while we chatted. She is the nicest and funniest person. We were fast friends! Relief just washed over me, she had earned my complete trust, I felt so confident leaving my pets in her hands. And she did an incredible job, so friendly, so attentive. She truly went above and beyond: I swear my house is cleaner than when I left, she brought in my mail, she left me notes, she cut up fresh vegetables for my guinea pigs when I ran out, and she sent daily pictures of my guinea girls. She gave me the biggest peace of mind that my little ladies were being well cared for. I can not stress how much I love this girl, she’s a gem. Sandy is the definition of an animal lover, she has the biggest heart and strongest passion. Thank you for everything, Sandy! Buggs and Winnie squeak their thanks too!”
