I am not currently offering care in my own home, but I am very happy to come care for your pets at your place. I have cross stitch and computer projects that I can bring with me to stay with them a little longer even if it is just a potty visit. I am also available to stay at your place if that is needed or preferred. I appreciate dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. Most of my pups have been golden retrievers, but I also have experience with Siberian huskies and a variety of mixed breed pups.

A typical day
My favorite activities to do with dogs are snuggles, fetch, sweet talk (Who’s a pretty princess?!”), tug of war, and leisurely walks of about 20 minutes to explore. I love to brush dogs who like that sort of thing. I normally have a craft or project bag with me, so I’m also happy to sit and listen to some music with your senior dog or maybe watch their favorite movie with them. For my most recent arthritic, senior, spending time together and feeling like she was guarding me was much more important than playtime. I’m flexible to adjust to the love language and needs of your particular cats or dogs. I have also cared for pups and cats with anxiety and do a pretty good job of reading their mood and offering them their choice of attention or space.

I’ve been a dog mommy for 32 years, including puppies, rescues needing some extra reassurance, and older doggos with special needs like arthritis, special diets, and sight and hearing limitations. I’ve recently taken an early retirement from P&G, so I have some spare time on my hands! I’d be happy to love and care for your precious ones!
