About: Grew up with dogs. Haven’t had as many dogs as cats as they required more attention than cats and Rover didn’t exist when I was younger. I had 3 dogs in my young adult life over the course of 30 years. Currently we have a 9 year old pittie rescue and she is well cared for. I’m recently retired so my schedule is very flexible. Rover has made it possible for us to travel with peace of mind that our pets would be cared for. So I figured it would be a good fit as a retirement job and now I can give others the same peace of mind. The retired lifestyle has left me very flexible for going to people’s homes to help with their cat and dog maintenance while they travel. Currently not looking to offer in home services.

About: I’m a professional pet care provider with 2,400+ completed visits through a pet care company and my own independent clients. I work with all pets—high-energy, reactive, senior, shy, and everything in between. I'll tailor each visit to your pet's routine and personality. Before every booking, I ask about their preferences, triggers, and how they respond to new people. During visits, I'll send written and photo updates so you know how things are going. Cats are a specialty, and I'm comfortable letting them set the pace, whether they want playtime, attention, or plenty of space. I'm experienced with senior pets and multi-pet households. I'm also insured through PCI. I generally have a flexible schedule around my other work, especially Monday-Thursday and over the weekend. Let’s talk about your needs for care with a meet and greet. I am happy to do playtime in the yard, cuddle on the couch, depending on what your pet is feeling for the days we meet.

About: My experience goes back to being the go-to walker for our family dog as a kid to minding my cat today. It’s not unusual for me to meet a dog or cat and become acquainted in minutes I work from home with a flexible schedule. Therefore, I can be on-call at various times. I’m also used to fitting pet care for my cat into my daily routine. I make sure to follow all instructions laid out by the pet parent and get clarification wherever necessary, as well as communicate any issues that may arise.

About: I have hands-on experience working in a veterinary clinic, where I care for dogs and cats every day. My experience includes handling, feeding, walking, administering medications, monitoring pets, assisting with treatments, and recognizing when something may be wrong. I’m comfortable working with pets of different personalities and energy levels, including nervous or anxious animals. I’m patient and attentive, and I always prioritize making pets feel safe and comfortable. Outside of work, I have a young Whippet of my own, so I understand how important exercise, enrichment, consistency, and patience are for young dogs. I treat every pet in my care like they’re my own! I am a full-time UC pre-veterinary student, and I work part time at Mason Family Pet Hospital. I have consistent breaks during my available weekdays to care for animals. I do my best to care for the animals as though they are one of my own. I try to read their behaviors to better understand their needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I could walk. Grew up walking stuffed animals around on a leash just to prove to my parents that I was responsible enough to own one myself. I had two dogs that both lived to 16 so my track record is good I am currently working from home three to four days a week and that allows for me to be flexible with my timing. I can leave the house, let a dog out or just give him/her some extra belly rubs I have a fenced in yard that allows your fur baby to run around freely, but within the home I love to snuggle. Your pets are allowed on furniture and in beds at this household, as long as it’s okay with you.

About: I have a special appreciation for dogs (and cats!) and enjoy spending time with them whenever I can. I don’t look at it as a chore, but rather as an opportunity to bond with another animal. I’m a full time college student at UC who is looking for something to do outside the classroom. I’m also working part-time as a pharmacy technician. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds - I have experience in dog-walking, dog and cat sitting and basic care. I treat them as if they’re my own by giving them all the attention they need. They are my top priority when they’re in my care! I am available for dog-walking most late afternoons. About: I grew up with five cats and one dog, and have helped pet sit friends’ dogs. I am very comfortable playing, feeding, going on walks, cleaning litter boxes, etc. I now have my own tripod cat as well, so I have also learned a lot about caring for pets with different needs! I will be working part time, and not taking classes this summer semester. So I will have plenty of time to stop by throughout the week. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and stick to their usual routine. I am very careful on checking that doors, gates, and leashes are secure. I follow all instructions closely and keep owners regularly updated!

About: I have spent over 4 years volunteering at animal shelters with both dogs and cats. I have also grown up with both dogs and cats - primarily small breeds. At the shelter I specialize in dogs, and have worked with breeds ranging from Cane Corsos to Toy Poodles. I like to both play and relax with dogs, and enjoy dog walking as part of an active lifestyle. I work full time, but WFH 3 days a week. The weekends are when I am most free, and prefer afternoons/evenings. I can be flexible if you reach our! I will check on your pet(s)' food and water supply in addition to making sure they use the facilities. I enjoy brushing pets as well!

About: Hi, I’m Alexa! I’m a 22 year old lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs. Growing up, I helped care for multiple Vizslas as well as a Great Dane, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I currently have a miniature dachshund who is truly my world, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. My boyfriend, Alex, who lives with me, also helps care for the dogs we sit. He grew up with a Husky, has years of experience with dogs, and as a 6’3” former college athlete, he’s especially comfortable handling large, strong breeds. Together, we’ll treat your pets like family and provide them with the same love, attention, and care that we give our own. Starting July 20, my schedule will look slightly different. I will be available on weekdays after 5 pm, and I will be fully available on the weekends! I currently live in a 1 bedroom apartment in an near Findlay Market! Lots of sidewalks to walk on as well as 2 dog parks very close by. Apartment also has a pet spa and a dog run!

While I do not train/groom/board, I do walks and visits. I’m currently working part time and I am a full time doctorate student at UC. My mornings/early afternoons are typically free and something’s late afternoons/evenings if I do not have work or class I care for pets with the respect of family and personal boundaries while ensuring all fur babies have a great time while being well taken care of!
