Calm, Reliable Overnight Care ❤️
Cincinnati-based pet sitter specializing in calm, attentive overnight housesitting (I spend the night in your home). I work long days (7AM to 6PM) Wednesday through Saturday, so for dogs I'm only available Sunday through Wednesday. Cats who are fine on their own for a good part of the day are welcome any day of the week, and I'm happy to take on longer, extended cat sits too. Hyde Park and Oakley are my longtime home base for housesitting, and many of my regular families are there, so if that's you, nothing is changing. Since I'm already driving for an overnight stay, I'm happy to go further out, including Pleasant Ridge and other nearby neighborhoods. Cats are my specialty, and I love dogs just as much, from energetic pups to seniors with mobility needs. I've also cared for fish, chickens, frogs, plants and sourdough starter! 😂😻🐶 I provide a steady, low-stress environment for pets who are shy, sensitive, or simply do best with consistency and a quiet presence during overnight stays. I bring 10+ years as a petsitter and a background as a flight attendant, which shaped my clear communication, reliability, and focus on safety so you can feel at ease while away.

I take my time getting to know new pets, especially shy cats or dogs with anxiety. I let them set the pace, whether that means a cautious sniff or immediate playtime. Your pets’ comfort always comes first.

Alecia is an absolutely incredible dog sitter. She kept me regularly informed of how Bobbis day went and sent lots of pics. In addition she left the house in immaculate condition and Bobbi seemed incredibly chilled and relaxed when I got home. Bobbi also has some special requirements due to previous health injuries and again she accommodated these so well. A huge thank you Alecia.
Alecia is great, we could not have asked for a better dog and house sitter! She was very responsive, sent great photos of our pups each day, and was sweet and gentle with our more timid pup, Roger!

Alecia was wonderful to work with and took great care of our pets and home. She sent daily updates and was easy to communicate with every step of the way.
Once again Alecia took care of everything while we were gone. This is our third time having Alecia and she does an amazing job with our needy animals. Both are old, with bad hips, both are a bit strange, one needs to be carried up the stairs and given meds, etc... She does it all and really seems to care. We love that she works from home so doesn't leave the animals alone for extended periods (they also have separation anxiety) and she's always sending cute updates and leaving nice notes. 11 out of 10 - would recommend and will be asking her again for our next trip if she is available.
Alecia was great. Communicated well, took care of our house and pets, and we would have no problem having her back!

Schedule
🌙 I offer overnight housesitting: I spend every night in your home, so your pets keep their normal routine. Housesitting always includes me staying overnight for the full length of your trip, and leaving shortly before you arrive home. I work 7AM to 6PM Wednesday through Saturday, so I only take dogs Sunday through Wednesday. Cats who do well on their own for a good part of the day are welcome any day, and I'm happy to take on longer cat sits too. On workdays, I can arrive or leave before 7AM or after 6PM. I can go further out for housesits, including my longtime neighborhoods of Hyde Park, Oakley and Pleasant Ridge, plus anywhere else within about a 10-minute drive. I keep my calendar updated regularly, so if you see dates available, I'm open! Please reach out with a little advance notice so we can set up a quick video meet-and-greet before your trip.

- ✅ Before confirming any booking, I require a brief video meet-and-greet with you and your pets. This meeting usually takes 10-15 minutes and will be done through Google Meet (I'll provide a link). After our meeting, I'll request important info in writing, even if we’ve discussed it verbally. Let me know about any behavioral quirks, medical needs, anxieties, or escape habits so I can care for your pet safely and confidently.
