About: I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover! Even before joining Rover in 2018, I was so lucky to get to care for the pets of my friends and family. About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was a child, regularly walking neighborhood dogs and boarding my cousins’ dogs. I’m familiar with the training philosophy in How to Raise a Puppy by the monks of New Skete. I take pride in being consistent and diligent, helping dogs stay on track with good habits while avoiding bad ones. I understand how important it is to provide dependable, thoughtful care that reinforces positive behavior. I’m a teacher with the summer off, so I’m available for pet care on weekdays from 10am to 5pm, except Tuesdays (available 8am–1pm). Weekend walks or boarding can be arranged on a case-by-case basis—just reach out and we’ll make it work. While my apartment is small, your dog’s care will prioritize outdoor time, play, and movement—unless you request otherwise. Indoors, I do not require crating, but I gently redirect dogs to keep them off furniture. I believe in consistency and reinforcing positive habits, and I avoid repeating ineffective commands, as this can dilute their meaning. I apply techniques from The Art of Raising a Puppy by the Monks of New Skete, including the importance of calm leadership, clear boundaries, and patient correction through redirection. Dogs thrive when they understand what’s expected of them, and I work hard to maintain that structure. Most importantly, I genuinely love dogs—they bring me joy, and I’ll treat yours with the same care and love I would my own.
About: I have a very energetic and social Cavapoo, Ollie, who keeps me on my toes. I had dogs around my whole life. From age 3 with Snowball (unknown), to Bebe (Pomeranian) & Princess (mixed), Diesel (English bulldog), and now, Ollie. I love playing with them, teaching them tricks, seeing them learn, and learning all their personalities! **Hypoallergenic dogs only for boarding.** I work from home full time and can cater to your dog’s schedule! I regularly take my dog out every few hours or so. My building also has a dog run, which makes potty breaks super quick and easy, plus a nearby park for longer walks & exercise, or a local dog park if your pup prefers to socialize! Depending on the weather, I try to take a 30 minute walk around the park in the afternoon and throw a ball around in the evenings at the dog run. We’re a very pet friendly building so oftentimes there are other dogs in the dog run and then I just let them play together and expend some of that energy. Please note that there will be occasions where I will need to step out to run errands, or for a meal, and will need to leave the dogs alone for a few hours. Please let me know if there are any specific needs for your dog when left alone! My building caters to pet parents and the proximity to Fort Greene Park means your dogs will likely enjoy a scenic walk with me and Ollie, who is 1000% thrilled to have your dog’s company.

For weekends in the afternoon only and have to be notified 3 days before.
