“From the minute Jenny walked into my house to meet my dog, I knew my little furbaby was going to be in good hands. Jenny is the absolute best!! I had never used Rover before and was a little worried if my wild child would be properly handled. Jenny was phenomenal! She is sweet but firm. She knows exactly how to handle dogs and pays attention to their behavior and temperament. I know my dog was left in great hands and it was a win/win/win for everyone! My dog got to stay home, instead of going to boarding (which is stressful and upsetting for her), I got to take a little break without feeling guilty leaving her behind, and Jenny got a new customer for life! On a side note, Jenny also has excellent communication and takes literally the best photos of your pet ever. I am absolutely thrilled to be so lucky to have Jenny nearby.”

“Carolina was amazing with my cats! So kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. I loved that she actually hung out with them and made them feel comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Nutt is our go-to care person for our cat, Silvestre. She is responsive, caring and thorough. Her visits are sufficiently long for Silvestre to get lots of personal attention. Nutt provides excellent service!”

About: I’m a dedicated dog mom to two small dogs and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. Caring for my own dogs has given me experience with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, basic training, and providing lots of love and attention. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. I’m currently home full-time, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m available for daycare, boarding, and drop-in visits, and I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s usual routine whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have two friendly small dogs and understand the importance of maintaining routines, providing supervision, and creating a calm environment. I will follow your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions to help them feel safe and comfortable while in my care.
“We had an excellent experience with kateryna! From the start, she was professional, kind, and truly attentive to every detail. She carefully followed all the instructions we left and made sure our cats were well cared for. She kept everything clean and organized, and it was clear from the updates and videos that she genuinely cared about our pets. One of our cats is usually very shy, but he warmed up to her a true sign of her patience and gentle nature. We came home to calm, happy cats. We’re very grateful for her care and will definitely book with her again in the future! Thank you so much!”

About: Hi! I’m Maria Clara, an experienced pet sitter and lifelong animal lover. I currently care for my own Golden Retriever, four kittens, a ball python, and a bearded dragon, so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and personalities. I’ve also helped care for friends’ and family’s dogs and cats through feeding, walking, playtime, medication, litter box cleaning, and overnight care. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I treat each one with the same patience, love, and attention I’d want for my own. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or senior, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I work a flexible part-time schedule and plan my day around the pets I’m caring for. I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting, and I always make time for feeding, exercise, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. I keep my schedule organized so every pet receives reliable, consistent care, and I’m happy to work with your routine whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I respect your home, carefully follow your pet’s routine, and pay close attention to their individual needs and behavior. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, exercise, enrichment, and lots of affection while you’re away. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Stefanie is our fur babies’ guardian angel. Especially when our fur babies are under the weather. Whether when she had to medicate our Dex’s eye every hour to treat an infection or finding positive reinforcements to treat our sick Benji (he is a stubborn old cat). She never gives up on them, she’ll always go out of her way to make sure they’re all ok. We’re very grateful for having her in our lives. Thank you Stefanie for being who you are ♥️”

About: I've mostly taken care of cats my whole life, but I really love working with dogs when I have the chance! Especially bigger dogs! I'm very comfortable handling them without getting thrown around. Currently I'm waiting for college to start back up so I have plenty of time to care for your animals! I'm big on communicating and scheduling so I can accommodate to my client's needs. My two cats are unfortunately not huge fans of dogs in the house, so any in house care would be at your place of residence. I live with others so the kitties won't be by themselves either. I am comfortable crating dogs if they are already familiar doing so and will be giving them lots of attention while with them. I encourage you to send me any specific care needs your pets require so I can make them as comfortable as they can be. Expect pictures!
About: I have being taking care of animals since I was 10 years old. I grew up in a small farm in Brazil where we had bunch of animals. I work from home so I can spend time day/night with your babies and take care of their food, walks , play and cuddles. I absolutely love all animals and spending time with new pups/kitties each week will bring me joy. Our dog Maltese Bella , just passed away from age (she was 17years old),and we miss her so much. Being around pups/ kittens will bring joy to our family again. I have a big area outside to walk and playtime. It’s not fenced but it’s a huge area for nice walks. Usually I take the dogs on walk 3/4 times a day.
“Kateryna was wonderful! She was thoughtful, accommodating and communicative. Our cats loved her and she made our lives easy. We are very grateful and would hire her again any time.”

“I am very happy with the day visits Monika's did for my two cats, one of which is elderly and very needy. She clearly loves my cats and she was equally as respectful of my home. She was punctual, communicative and very professional. I would trust her to take care of my cats abd home again no hesitation!”

About: I’ve been a professional dog groomer for 2 years and have owned dogs for over 20 years. I also have 6 years of experience dog sitting for families and friends. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, and anxious pets. I understand dog behavior, coat care, and safety, and I treat every dog with patience, love, and respect as if they were my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a professional groomer, I’m very used to working with dogs throughout the day. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my schedule when needed. Your pet will receive attention, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of care — never rushed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and structured environment. I carefully supervise all pets and follow your instructions for feeding, routines, and medications if needed. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and nervous pets, and I always use gentle handling and positive reinforcement to make them feel secure and loved.
About: I’ve been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and begged for one, now many family friends and neighbors have trusted me to feed and walk their pets, along with keeping them company. I’m currently a college student home for the summer, I do not have any other job leaving me very available to care for your pets any day of the week. I will always ensure the pets are safely taken outside, such as being sure they will be leashed before going outside or making sure a backyard is safe for them before letting them out. I can also adapt to any specific needs a pet has, being as patient as needed.
About: I’ve been running my pet care business for over 11 years, providing professional care for both dogs and cats, and I truly treat every pet like family. Over the years, I’ve fostered many dogs and cats, including puppies and kittens, and I’m comfortable working with high energy, fearful, blind, senior, and medical needs pets. In addition to pet sitting and dog walking, I’m also a positive reinforcement dog trainer who works with behavioral issues such as reactivity, leash pulling, potty training, separation anxiety, puppy training, and basic obedience. Because of my experience with canine behavior, I can also help reinforce training, good manners, and consistent routines while you’re away. My goal is always to provide love, structure, and peace of mind so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. I run my own pet care and dog training business, so caring for animals is already built into my daily and weekly routine. Whether it’s walks, drop in visits, training sessions, or overnight care, I structure my schedule around the pets I’m responsible for. Because this is my full time work, I’m able to give each pet the time, consistency, and attention they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they have fresh food and water, clean litter or regular potty breaks, exercise, and playtime. I also give plenty of love and attention, and I’m comfortable handling medications or special instructions.

First time leaving my cat for more than a few days and I was so nervous. Mary was a true blessing! G did great the whole time, with no signs of stress and I know its because Mary made him feel comfortable and loved the whole time. The pictures were excellent and she really did make sure his life was as normal and routine as possible while I was gone for the 9 days. Couldn't recommend more!

She was amazing! She accepted my booking request last minute, which was incredibly helpful, and took great care of my cats during the drop-in visits. She also sent the cutest/funniest updates, which gave me peace of mind and made being away from them so much easier. I’d definitely book with her again!

Neusa did a wonderful job taking care of my two kitties for 3 days while I was out of town. She genuinely loves and understands cats and is a cat mom herself, and she cared for my beloved kitties as if they were her own. She followed all instructions to a tee and was very respectful of the house, leaving the space better than she found it. She was highly responsive, communicative, and professional. I highly recommend Neusa and hope to work with her again in the future. Thank you!

Stephanie is our favorite pet sitter. Stephanie is a kind and loving caretaker. She always sends pictures and reports on anything that needs attention. We appreciate knowing we have a great person who will take great care of my babies while we are out of town.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
