About: I’ve been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and begged for one, now many family friends and neighbors have trusted me to feed and walk their pets, along with keeping them company. I’m currently a college student home for the summer, I do not have any other job leaving me very available to care for your pets any day of the week. I will always ensure the pets are safely taken outside, such as being sure they will be leashed before going outside or making sure a backyard is safe for them before letting them out. I can also adapt to any specific needs a pet has, being as patient as needed.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats since I was 5 years old, I pet sit for neighbors all the time, and have volunteered at humane societies to help out, I want to make sure your pets get the proper care they need! I would like to work night shifts since I am currently in classes for college, I can do afternoons and later, and if needed during the day as well When sitting for your pet, if you have any special instructions about letting them outside, and what they are allowed to be fed I will make sure they get the proper schedule they need and are used to!

“Sara was a blessing to have while we were away. She dropped in to look after our two English bulldogs for an hour each day while our house sitter was at work. She was punctual, sent pictures during each visit, and was quick with responses. She gave our loves the attention and care we expected! Our dogs loved her and we were worry free during our vacation! Would highly recommend!”

“Steph was awesome!! Super quick to respond and very sweet! She did a little drop in on my cat while I had to work all day and I came back to a very happy and full kitten. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Roberta took excellent care of my kitties. She was patient with them and got them to trust her with her kind demeanor and gentle personality. And, she provided me with wonderful photos and videos and updates! Highly recommend.”

About: I am currently in school for vet med and I work at K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel, I just can’t get enough animals in my life! I have had all sorts of pets growing up and my passion for their care runs deep!! I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting since early middle school!! I AM still a student and I am in class Tues-Thurs 9-1. My work schedule can fluctuate but I usually only work 3 days a week. I live in an apartment and have 2 friendly cats, but if that is an issue for your pet, they can easily be securely separated. If you are uncertain about spacing or anything else, I am more than happy to come to you! If your pet needs exercise, I’m the right person to call!!
“Excellent service from start to finish. Vladlena is responsible, communicative, and genuinely trustworthy. I felt completely at ease knowing she was caring for my one‑year‑old kitty, Isla, while I spent the holidays with my family during my college break. I’ll definitely hire her again in the future — highly recommend!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Boca Raton
I had such an amazing experience with Kateryna! I was very nervous to leave my cats with someone for the first time. She was incredibly reassuring and followed my instructions exactly. She was very communicative and sweet. I will definitely be using her again in the future, and if you any animals you can definitely trust her with them!

I am very happy with the day visits Monika's did for my two cats, one of which is elderly and very needy. She clearly loves my cats and she was equally as respectful of my home. She was punctual, communicative and very professional. I would trust her to take care of my cats abd home again no hesitation!

Stella was an absolute lifesaver! Our original sitter canceled just a week before our vacation, and she stepped in and went above and beyond. She took such amazing care of our two cats, spending time playing with them and making sure they felt loved while we were gone. We received photos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would 100% recommend her! 🐾💛

Paul did a great job with Piper! He came when he said he would and proved to be very reliable. Piper was adopted from the ASPCA and was feral. She typically hides when any new person is around, so it was surprising that Paul was able to get her to be social. He sent great updates with photos and videos of his checking with Piper. He has proven to be more than just a dog whisperer but a cat whisperer as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Boca Raton. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
