“Jody looked after our cat (drop in visits) from 12/28 - 01/02 and everything went beyond our expectations! We received photos and videos every day! Jody is very caring, knowledgeable and friendly! Will absolutely book again!”

“Molly was extremely reliable and friendly. I called her at a last minute with a hurricane approaching and not only she replied right away she took a good care of my dog. I would definitely recommend!”

“Thank you for taking such a good care of our baby Ginger. We always have peace of mind every time we go on vacation knowing she is in the best possible hands. We appreciate you so much!”

“Jennifer was awesome. She gave us a full report and pictures every day. It made us feel good to see our babies. We would definitely have her watch our cats next time we go out of town. Thank you Jennifer.”

“Tayla is fantastic! Our young dog warmed to her immediately and was completely relaxed and happy throughout her visit. She was completely on top of his needs and is a great communicator - before and during the visit, sending updates and photos. She's also prompt and delightful to work with. We're thrilled to have found her!”

“Michaela was incredible with my two cats! I left them longer than I usually do so I was nervous about how they would do but Michaela was patient with my anxious cat and he warmed up and let her pet and brush him by the end! She also played with my kitten which was soo great too. She sent plenty of pictures and updates and it was so nice to be at ease while I was away knowing that they were being so well taken care of!”

“Kateryna was wonderful! She was thoughtful, accommodating and communicative. Our cats loved her and she made our lives easy. We are very grateful and would hire her again any time.”

“Savannah was so good, my dog wasn't even happy to see me! She looked at me like, "What no walk and treats?". Savannah as incredibly responsive, great communication and clearly loves taking care of animals. I am actually rebooking her right now... My highest recommendation.”

About: I grew up surrounded by pets, learning to love and care for them as a heartfelt way of giving back the unconditional love they always give Being self-employed gives me the flexibility to dedicate time to pet care every day. I can easily adjust my schedule, making sure pets receive consistent walks, play, and companionship and loving attention whenever your pets need it When I care for pets in your home, I carefully follow your instructions so their routine stays the same and they always feel secure. In my own home, pets have lots of space to move freely and a safely enclosed patio where they can enjoy fresh air without any risk of escaping. Most importantly, they are always with me never crated so they get love, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and part of the family, whether I’m caring for them in your home or mine.

“Left my cats with her for 4 nights and had almost no access to my cameras to even check on them myself, but I felt much better knowing she was visiting them because I got a thorough report and pictures of them after every visit. Also she's response to messages in a very reasonable amount of time and answered all questions I had about them! Already booking again for next month.”

About: Shana & Shawn - currently a dynamic duo, my brother and I team up to care for your pet loved ones. We’ve been animal lovers our whole life and have cared for everything from dogs and cats to fish, birds, hamsters, and even reptiles. We currently have two dachshunds and a high-energy 75lb Belgian Malinois. We are very comfortable with both small pups and active, larger breeds. We genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality and make it a priority to keep them happy, safe, and well cared for—whether that means playtime, fresh air, or extra snuggles. As a part-time nurse practitioner, I have a flexible work-from-home schedule that fits naturally with pet sitting. It allows me to be present, attentive, and intentional with the pets in my care, creating a calm and comfortable experience for them. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine and personality to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow their normal schedule and provide updates along the way. Outside of their home, I create a calm, safe environment depending on their needs.
About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities—from energetic dogs to shy cats who’d rather stay incognito. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and dependable care, and I’ll treat yours like one of my own. (Just don’t tell my cat, Milo—he might get jealous.) I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I have a flexible schedule, so I can often accommodate mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I know consistency is important to pets, and I’ll do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I understand that caring for your pet also means respecting your home and your routine. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep doors and gates secure, make sure food, water, medications (if needed), and litter boxes are handled exactly as requested, and I’ll send regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to return home to a happy pet and the same clean, safe home you left. Some dogs greet you like you’re a long-lost rock star. Some cats look at you as if you’re applying for the job. I enjoy both. My goal isn’t to force affection—it’s to earn trust, follow your pet’s routine, and make them feel safe until you get home.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Kings Point
It has been a pleasure meeting Julie. My kitties, Alfie and Midnight, 🐈🐈⬛, looked forward for every drop in visit with Julie, always waiting for her at the door. Julie is responsible and very communicative with me sending me pictures for each visit and reports on both Alfie and Midnight. This has been very comforting to me. My husband and I do plan on asking Julie to kittie sit for our puffballs again. We highly recommend her!

Michaela was such a wonderful help during Stitch’s recovery after his surgery. She stopped by twice a day to make sure he got his medications and was always so patient and kind with him. Knowing he was in such caring hands gave me so much peace of mind. I’m so grateful for her help and highly recommend her!

Dilara was wonderful with our two cats! She was extremely responsive, prompt, and kept us well informed throughout her visits. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such reliable and caring hands. We’ll absolutely be using her again soon and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and attentive pet sitter.

Very impressed with Liz and her care of my two dogs and cat. All took to her at first visit. She obviously speaks their language and took the time to connect with them and put them at ease. Liz handled two senior dogs, one a paraplegic, with great care. She also administered their meds for me, including an injectable with ease. She happily rewarded them with treats afterward. Also appreciated her scooping the cat’s litter after feeding everyone. Overall a very good experience. Will use her again and recommend to fellow pet moms.
Olivia took such great care of my cats while I was away for the weekend! Cats were fed & played with & I got lots of cute pics of them. She was able to administer meds for my anxious kitty which was such a relief for me. She went above & beyond to make them comfortable & let them warm up without rushing. I definitely recommend Olivia's services & I will definitely book again.

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kings Point. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
