If you’re looking for a sitter with 11 years of experience, able to detect and prevent veterinary emergencies, and honestly the most reliable/mature/trustworthy/kind sitter…. Then I am your girl! I have been around animals my whole entire life. I dedicated my education to getting a degree in Zoology. I’ve been an animal trainer to dogs and marine mammals for 11 years. I’ve also worked as a veterinary technician for 5 years in emergency, neurology, and general practice — with both dogs and cats. I have two Australian Shepherds at home. One is 9 years old and the other is 5! I have a tremendous amount of animal experience with giving medications, subcutaneous injections, and providing enriching, stimulating feedings for your pets. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of providing pictures, updates, and keeping you along every step of the way while you’re gone.

I treat my dogs like my family. They are very well loved and cared for— this goes for my clients pets as well. My dogs are trained with positive reinforcement and skills I have picked up throughout my career in the animal care field. I have general knowledge of veterinary care and am able to provide care in that area.

Jaclyn is always reliable and an excellent communicator. She has the biggest heart when it comes to caring for animals. My dog gets so excited anytime Jaclyn comes over to spend time with her. She even taught her how to shake and spin in a circle!
I was nervous about leaving my senior dog because he needs daily injections and a little extra attention, but the experience couldn't have been better. It was obvious he was cared for with patience, kindness, and confidence. Knowing his medication was handled properly gave me so much peace of mind. I came home to a happy, relaxed dog, and I wouldn't hesitate to trust them with his care again.

Schedule
Due to my work schedule Monday-Friday I am unavailable 2pm-6pm. However, I am still available to care overnight, and in between those timeframes for drop ins as needed.
