I moved to Florida in 2016 and recently stepped away from my corporate career to create a more flexible lifestyle and spend more time doing the things I genuinely love — including being around animals! While I don’t currently have pets of my own because my living situation doesn’t allow it right now, I’ve been lucky enough to be trusted by friends and family to care for their pets many times over the years. I’ve cared for a Chihuahua mix, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever puppy, and multiple cats, including fostering two of my friend’s cats for an entire year. About: Shana & Shawn - currently a dynamic duo, my brother and I team up to care for your pet loved ones. We’ve been animal lovers our whole life and have cared for everything from dogs and cats to fish, birds, hamsters, and even reptiles. We currently have two dachshunds and a high-energy 75lb Belgian Malinois. We are very comfortable with both small pups and active, larger breeds. We genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality and make it a priority to keep them happy, safe, and well cared for—whether that means playtime, fresh air, or extra snuggles. As a part-time nurse practitioner, I have a flexible work-from-home schedule that fits naturally with pet sitting. It allows me to be present, attentive, and intentional with the pets in my care, creating a calm and comfortable experience for them.
