About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for all kinds of pets — including dogs 🐕, cats 🐈, hamsters 🐹, turtles 🐢, fish 🐠, and more. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. This is why I prioritize timely updates, plenty of photos, and sticking closely to each pet’s unique routine and needs. I work from home full time, so your pet will always be well supervised and taken care of. I’m happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, training reinforcement, or any specific care instructions that help your pet feel right at home. Because I work from home full time, I’m able to provide pets with lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. Caring for animals fits naturally into my routine, whether that means walks, playtime, cuddle breaks, or whatever else they might need! I’m thoughtful, reliable, and attentive when caring for pets, and I always want both pets and owners to feel comfortable and at ease. I’m also extremely organized, clean, and respectful of other people’s homes. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll treat your space the same way I treat my own and make sure everything is left exactly as you left it. My goal is for you to come home to a happy, well-cared-for pet and complete peace of mind. You can also expect regular updates, photos, and open communication so you always know how your pet is doing.
“Jaclyn was great with my mini dachshund Betty! She sent me plenty of photos and gave Betty ice cold water after her short walks in the heat! She was communicative to me and kind to my dog. Will be using her again!”

About: I'm a dog mommy to a 8 year old Chihuahua/Rat terrier mix named Milkshake. She's been with me for 4 years but my experience with dogs goes back over a decade. I'm the one at the party talking to the pets. I'm very flexible on weekends but a bit limited during the week, other than evenings after 7. Also, Milkshake is friendly and sociable. She enjoys having puppy pals come over for a visit. :)
About: I’ve been pet sitting on and off for about 10 years. My main priority is safety and love for all animals. I’ve had 2 beautiful dogs growing up so tending to their need comes naturally to me. Not only do I love it, but I 100% understand how important they are and as a person who’s owned pets, how much you want them to be in good hands. I’m currently taking a long break from my career so I will have undivided attention for your pets. I’m able to take them on walks if wanted, and solely focus on them. Clients home: do what is asked/ always respect homes My home: I live in a spacious loft with my boyfriend near the beach. We have plenty of space and comfy spaces for them. Our neighbors all have small-large pets and walk them everyday! Outside of our place are little grass areas where they can go to the bathroom or sniff around.
“Absolutely amazing sitter, took my husky shadow in on such short notice and was very attentive to his care, needs, and safety. Best sitter I’ve found on this app so far, would recommend for anyone who is looking for a loving sitter. Will book again (: 10/10”

“Bella had a wonderful time with Marilyn and her family. Marilyn also helped me out with the potty training which I was SO impressed with. I highly recommend Marilyn and will use her again!”

“Josely was a great pet sitter! She was responsive and communicative. When I picked Barnie I could tell she had a great time and was so happy. I would highly recommend Josely!”

“We were fortunate Suzanne was available for two of the three days we needed day care for our temperamental poodle rescue while we were on vacation in Delray Beach. He is a senior dog who enjoys a quiet environment and someone to give him their undivided attention. Suzanne was the perfect day care sitter for him! When we visit Delray Beach next year, we plan to book with her earlier to make sure she is available for all the days Boscoe needs day care.”

“Another happy & pleasant stay for our pup with Randall & his incredible partner. They really spoiled Simba & he was passed out when we got home from all the fun he had. Would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a safe space where their furry friend will be looked after really well. The constant updates are a bonus that is much appreciated”

I have a designated room for the dog to chill in between walks. I also have an outdoor lanai that is screened in so really nice to sunbath.
About: I have breed, raised and shown, sold high quality Quarter horses and Rottweilers, German shepherds, Toy Poodle. Decades of caring, loving, training has given me the knowledge based that I can handle variety of different situations. I care for them as my own. I have people that have known me for decades that would be references at your request. I also, have my own website that would speak validity of who and what I do. I do work part-time, but I am home every few hours. I love to walk dogs first thing in the morning when it's cooler out and then in the evening. Whether you’re at work, traveling, or away for the day, you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, and cared for in a familiar environment. Because when you can’t be there, loving care makes all the difference. I miss having a pet. I will treat them like family! If you allow them on the couch or the bed then they are allowed on them at our home. I work from home, so your pet won't be alone for long periods of time. Since I work from home, I am able to take them for walks when they need it. Your pet can sit with us on couch or sleep in our bed.
About: I’ve taken care of, or have had many types of pets- all sizes of dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, birds since I was a young kid. In fact, my older sister was a German Shepard 😄. I don’t have my own pets now, though, so pet sitting is the perfect situation for me. I can only accept your pet after a meet n greet about 2weeks prior to the boarding date. This enables us to check if it’s a good match, and if it isn’t, you have time to find someone else😊. My husband and I coordinate care and love for pets. We must have a meet n greet so your pup feels comfortable. I walk a few miles a day, and I have a stroller for dogs who want to be out, but can’t walk that distance. I also take the dogs to the park or along A1A in Delray, but never off leash. I have an upstairs condo, all dogs will get walked multiple times a day. The dog needs to be able to go up/down the stairs, or be small enough for me to carry. Depending on the dog’s temperament, I may introduce them to familiar neighbor’s dogs, or take them on a long walk, or to a park ( but never an off-leash dog park) for a walk and car ride. I have plenty of bowls, beds and an XL crate, so you won’t have to pack too much for your pet’s stay. Meet n greet is a must🙂
The median cost per day for doggy day care in Delray Beach is $35
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Delray Beach
She was very communicative, kind and understanding to my situations. She reasonably accommodated my dog and took lots of pictures of her day with him. She definitely tired my little one out and I am truly grateful for the car she provided to my dog and I. I would recommend her to you.

Simona was kind enough to accommodate a last-minute request for dog care very early in the morning while I took my mother to the hospital. From our first interaction, she struck me as dependable and trustworthy. Knowing my dog was in good hands allowed me to focus fully on my mom during a stressful day. Simona was reliable, communicative, and paid attention to my dog’s needs. She kept me updated on whether my dog was eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom. Despite the extreme heat, she made sure the dogs got outside for bathroom breaks and then had a cool, air-conditioned place to relax, with plenty of dog beds available. She clearly cares about the dogs she watches and seemed comfortable managing multiple dogs at once while still giving them individual attention. I appreciated her help and would use her services again.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Delray Beach commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
