“Vicky D. Thank you for taking great care of Gia during her stay. Communication was excellent, and the experience was smooth and professional from start to finish. I would happily book with you again and recommend your services to others.”

About: My entire family has always had pets, but pets have always been family to me. I found that I have an immense love for these animals and we're so lucky to have them in our lives. My first ever job was animal care! I have volunteered at many animal rescue places, fostered orphaned kittens just for the love of it. I am able to handle breeds large and small, if your pup prefers an outing to the beach I am also willing to offer those services, I hope you find the perfect pet sitter here. I am an artist and would love to fill the time not working with some good exercise with dogs or even a relaxing day with a kitty, my schedule is relatively open and I am able to handle early clients. Any required walks, medications, accident cleanup, and feedings + litter changes are offered with my services. In my own home it would be strictly indoor care, I offer crate services for dogs in a very quiet relaxed environment overnight. If the dog has a lot of energy and friendly I am willing to have them roam around the house and do a lot of leash time outdoors walking or running in my quiet and clean neighborhood.
“Gale is a wonderful dog sitter! My dog Jojo had such a great time with her. She made him feel comfortable, loved, and had lots of fun. I could tell he was happy and well cared for the whole time. Highly recommend her! 🐾”

“Trooper received wonderful care during his stay. He definitely looked forward to seeing Jim and family as he raced into the house each morning! He looks forward to seeing you again in the future.”

“I was traveling and needed a dog sitter at the last minute. I read all the near by sitters and picked Simona based on reviews & repeat customers. Simona was great! She has a lot of experience with many different dog breeds. McKenzie (9 yrs old) had a great time with all the little dogs & even a puppy! Simona sent photo which was much appreciated. If I find myself back in Boca Raton needing a dog sitter, I will be calling Simona.”

About: I have several years of hands on experience caring for both dogs and cats through personal pet care and rescue work. I volunteer with Big Dog Ranch Rescue, and grew up in a foster-based rescue home, helping care for animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, litter box care, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience with high-energy pets, as well as more anxious or shy pets, and I always prioritize a calm, reliable environment. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets consistent attention and care throughout the day. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting on both weekdays and weekends, and I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening routines. I prioritize keeping your pet’s schedule as consistent as possible, including feeding times, medication, and exercise, so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I always prioritize creating a safe, calm, and stress-free environment for every pet. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, behavior, and any special needs so I can provide consistent, attentive care. I’m experienced with administering medication, monitoring for changes in behavior or health, and handling shy or anxious pets with patience. In your home, I respect your space and follow all instructions carefully to maintain your pet’s normal routine. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.
“Josely was a great pet sitter! She was responsive and communicative. When I picked Barnie I could tell she had a great time and was so happy. I would highly recommend Josely!”

“Johnathan and his Wife are absolutely amazing and treated my dog as their own! I would highly recommend staying with them and would only book with them in the future. I received videos and photos every day he was there and updates anytime I asked. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Beans!”

“Elana is very responsive and communicative. I’m from out of town and unexpectedly needed dog care, and she was able to care for my dog without a Meet-&-Greet which was very helpful for me. I have a senior dog and she asked if he can take the stairs, or needed to be taken up the elevator or carried, showing great thoughtfulness to his wellness — no one has ever asked that before!”

About: I had dog since I was a child, I treat them as part of family, with respect and a lot of love. That’s why they can sleep in my own bed. I work from home, so I have plenty time to care your baby, and spend quality time with him and enjoy time together me my baby Matilda and your baby. I live in a security community with lots of green areas , and there’s also a dedicated dog park. Your baby are in safe hands.

About: I have always had dogs growing up. I am my friend’s go-to pet sitter. I foster occasionally for Peggy Adam’s and Big Dog Ranch. Dogs > humans forever Working remotely, I have a very flexible schedule. I also live on a beach where I can take doggos. I go to the gym where I am gone a max of 2 hours, but other than that I’m around to best care for your animal. I can care for your pet both in my home or yours, whichever you prefer. I have a love and passion for dogs and I will do anything to be in good company 🐶
About: I’ve taken care of, or have had many types of pets- all sizes of dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, birds since I was a young kid. In fact, my older sister was a German Shepard 😄. I don’t have my own pets now, though, so pet sitting is the perfect situation for me. I can only accept your pet after a meet n greet about 2weeks prior to the boarding date. This enables us to check if it’s a good match, and if it isn’t, you have time to find someone else😊. My husband and I coordinate care and love for pets. We must have a meet n greet so your pup feels comfortable. I walk a few miles a day, and I have a stroller for dogs who want to be out, but can’t walk that distance. I also take the dogs to the park or along A1A in Delray, but never off leash. I have an upstairs condo, all dogs will get walked multiple times a day. The dog needs to be able to go up/down the stairs, or be small enough for me to carry. Depending on the dog’s temperament, I may introduce them to familiar neighbor’s dogs, or take them on a long walk, or to a park ( but never an off-leash dog park) for a walk and car ride. I have plenty of bowls, beds and an XL crate, so you won’t have to pack too much for your pet’s stay. Meet n greet is a must🙂
“Cristina was awesome! She was quick to communicate, so great with dogs and has a great place with a backyard for the dogs to play, My golden retriever loved that she has two sweet goldens that he could play with. It was an easy drop off and pickup, My dog didn’t really want to leave😂. He had received so much loving attention. I highly recommend!!”

“Bella had a wonderful time with Marilyn and her family. Marilyn also helped me out with the potty training which I was SO impressed with. I highly recommend Marilyn and will use her again!”

I’m also clean and respectful of other people’s homes — my goal is a happy, well-cared-for pet and complete peace of mind for you. 💛

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ocean Ridge
She was very communicative, kind and understanding to my situations. She reasonably accommodated my dog and took lots of pictures of her day with him. She definitely tired my little one out and I am truly grateful for the car she provided to my dog and I. I would recommend her to you.

Zachary was a great dog sitter and would provide photos and updates on my pup, Kimbu. I needed a dog sitter last minute and he was able to help. Him and his partner were so caring of her and she came happy, and tired from having fun. Which is amazing! I would definitely recommend to any dog parents needing a sitter.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
