I love all breeds. Seniors welcome. I have delivered first aid, post-op care, oral, topical and injected medications. My two cats are very savvy when it comes to visitors. They have free access to a basement family room and spend most of their time there when unfamiliar canine guests are visiting.
A typical day
Your dogs routine will be my priority. If your dogs is used to multiple walks per day….we will walk multiple times per day. If your dog is a couch potato. We will snuggle together.

Pet care experience
I’ve been a pet owner since 1985 and I’ve fostered over 70 cats and dogs over the past 20 years through an Animal Rescue Project that I continue to volunteer for. My home is designed for pets. No rugs and comfy furniture covered with pet hair. In my Florida home, I do not have a fenced in yard but I have a lovely dog friendly community to take long walks in. I specialize in seniors, special needs pets or pets on a medicine schedule. I love puppies too. Cats are also welcome in my home. Your dog or cat will be treated just like family. I’d also be happy to care for your pet in your home. I am a snow bird who spends my winters in South East Florida and Summers in my home state of New Jersey.

Karen was everything I could ask for in a sitter for Charlie and then some! After using family members as sitters for almost 6 years it was necessary for me to find a new sitter for Charlie. Her caring ways got him through a record-breaking heat wave, the Fourth of July and ferocious thunderstorms. The pictures and video I received showed a happy dog playing all his favorite games with all his favorite toys. Karen watched Charlie at my house and left everything as good or even better than when I left. I was so happy and impressed coming home from an exhausting fun-filled trip. I highly recommend Karen and will definitely have her again.
Skylar was well taken care of while away for a mini trip! Karren was great with keeping Skylar’s medicated eye drop schedule. It was wonderful to come back to a clean space and greatly appreciated! Thanks Karren for all of your help!
