I grew up with cats all my life and have cared for cats and dogs from babies to seniors. I’m very attentive to the pet and their needs. I adjust my care approach to the pet, since they are all different. I love to play with the playful ones, cuddle and pet the ones that love attention. I treat them as my own because I know how anxiety inducing it can be to be away from them, and I want my clients to feel assured that their pet was content, healthy, and taken care of while they were away.

Safety, trust & environment
I make sure any pet I’m taking care of has plenty of fresh water. I stick to their feeding routines and proportions. Tell me of any food allergies and favorite treats. I will leave the home as I found it; I clean up after myself. However, I am a pet sitter, not a cleaner, so please be aware of the difference. I will not clean your home. I will only put anything I used back the way I found it, and leave your home in the condition it was when I first start the booking.

Would not recommend Stephanie. We hired Stephanie to watch our three dogs while we went out of town for medical reasons. She came over and met the dogs prior to pet sitting. We have one big dog and two small dogs. It was explained to Stephanie, that one of the small dogs is sick and has been peeing in the house. After one night, I’m not even sure if it was 12 hours, we get a text that this has been tougher for her than she thought. The other small dog was supposedly growling and nipping at her when she tried to put on his leash to walk him. Based on the tone of her text, we asked her if she was wanting to cancel the service. Shockingly, she said yes. Again, we are out of town for a medical procedure. She did not ask us if there was someone that could help. She did not ask us if there was something different that she could try. She was done. It did not matter that she took on the responsibility of pet sitting for our dogs while we were out of town. Maybe Stephanie was going through a difficult time. Maybe our dogs were difficult. But when you accept a responsibility, you see it through. Unless you know with 1000% certainty that your dog is perfect, we would not recommend using Stephanie as a dog sitter. What if something actually severe happened? How would she have handled that situation?
We had a wonderful experience with Stephanie. She stayed at our home and took excellent care of our pets while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and treated our animals with genuine care and affection. It gave us great peace of mind knowing our pets were comfortable and well looked after in their own environment. We came home to happy pets and a well-maintained house. We would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, and we would be happy to book with her again in the future.
Stephanie did a wonderful job caring for my two cats. I received one or two pictures each time she was here and when I came home from my week away, they both seemed to be relaxed. As I have one that is afraid of his own shadow, that is saying a lot.

Stephanie was great for drop ins with my 2 dogs Max and Sunny. She was on time and followed all the instructions I left. I’m confident I will rebook her again.

Schedule
I provide pet care between 9:30 AM until 9:00 PM, unless I am house sitting. Then I can stick to your pet’s schedule. I have a cat that I need to return to feed and spend time with so my house sitting time is broken up into shorter periods.
