“Chanay was absolutely wonderful!! I had to make arrangements last minute and Chanay was sooo accommodating! She had great communication and my pup looked so happy after his hour walk!! I would 1000% use her services again!”

About: I have taken care of animals by volunteering at the Kansas City pet project as well as fostering animals. I love being around animals and making sure they are well taken care of. I am taking two summer classes, Tuesday and Thursdays 9:15 am- 11:15 am. Other than that, I am available all days other than the dates marked off on the calendar. I care for pets by making sure they are let out when they need to be, making sure they are fed, and by giving them plenty of love!

“Jacki was great. She took our dog for a long walk, was right on time, and was great with communication. We would certainly book with her again and would highly recommend her. :)”

About: While I don't have formal experience, I've spent my whole life taking care of pets at home. I've even raised our current pups from puppies to adulthood, handling everything from feeding to playtime. My goal is to treat every pet like part of the family. As we head past graduation and into the summer, I will have a very flexible schedule! I'm available on the weekends, evenings, and soon to be during the weekdays as well! Every pet deserves the family treatment! I'm careful to follow their set routines and rules - whether it's playtime, feeding, or crate time. Your pet's safety always comes first!

“Stacy was wonderful with communication and taking care of our doggie that has a little anxiety! Will definitely book again when I go out of town!”

About: Hey there everyone. I’m a lover of all animals. I am a bunny mom of 4 years. We also have a dog and recently got a kitten. I love hanging out with all the different animals and fur babies. I’ve been told I’m an animal whisperer. Animals that tend to shy away from others always come to me. I am a seasonal rover sitter. I am a marine biology major at the University of Oregon. So I am available during summer and winter break. I am comfortable with all ages of animals and can care for them to your specific needs. I have cared for big and small dogs. I’ll be happy to clean litter boxes, and play with all your babies.

About: First and foremost, whoever said that money doesn’t buy happiness never had a dog. I am the proud fur-parent of two English Bulldogs. They are the most happy, loving dogs ever. I love any and all animals but dogs and cats are where most of my knowledge lies. I used to work for a pet supply store. With that job I became very knowledgeable about various pet concerns as well as nutrition and care for animals. I also volunteer for a local rescue in Kansas City. My dogs aren’t the most active breed but we still love our walks, dog parks and play dates. My availability is fairly standard unless I am out of town myself. My work schedule varies frequently but almost always I am able to make early morning and evening visits work with the occasional availability for lunch-time drop-ins Pets in my home are welcome to any space my own dogs are allowed and I have a privacy fenced in backyard for them to play. At your home, I will follow any instructions you have on what is on/off limits for your pup/animal.

About: I have always loved dogs growing up and playing with them brings me a sense of joy. I have dogs of my own and I always make sure that they are loved and cared for I currently work as a receptionist part time, so I’m free anytime to love, play, and take care of your pets whenever it’s necessary for you! At my home we have an electric fence, but we also have leashes for our dogs and others friends incase we have company over there

“This was my first weekend with Deret, and she couldn't have been better!! She communicated everything and I'm excited to have her on board!! Thank you Deret! I will continue to book her for all of my needs!!”

About: Hello! I’ve taken care of family and friend’s dogs for about 8 years now and I have a dog of my own! Her name is Wednesday and she’s a German Shepherd Mix that I’ve had for 2.5 years. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds and treat them all like the little fur babies they are! I work from home and I have a very flexible schedule so I will be available to drop in and take your dog(s) as many times as needed throughout the day. I will make sure to follow their normal routine as much as possible. Such as feeding times, frequency in walks/potty time, play time, etc. Additionally, I am a huge dog lover and I have no problem cuddling, petting, and playing with your fur-baby while I care for them.

About: I have been boarding pets and dog sitting for family and friends for over twenty years. We are all pet lovers here, so our home was quite literally designed with pets in mind. I have a big fenced in backyard, tons of dog and cat toys and tennis balls, and of course washable couch cushions and rugs everywhere because we know accidents happen 😂 My golden loves all dogs, and there’s nothing my kids like better than coming home to see a different pup or cat here. I previously worked at and volunteered at several shelters, and now just work remotely part time from home, after resigning as a Claims Specialist for the Social Security Administration HQ here in KCMO. I can administer medication, and my speciality is elderly dogs that need extra attention and/or dogs that don’t do well in typical boarding situation due to anxiety and/or destructive behaviors because here, they can have as much attention as they do (or don’t!) want. Neutering also is not as issue as mine all are. I currently work from home 20 hours a week medical billing and coding, my schedule is flexible and my children are both in daycare/elementary school and gone from approx 8-4. I have a fenced in large yard in a quiet neighborhood, so I walk dogs I watch/my dogs 1-2 times a day and let out any elderly dogs I am currently watching through the front door to avoid the deck steps. I feed my dogs twice a day, they drink filtered water and get denta sticks each day. I always bring dog treats on walks so reinforce good behavior. We consider our pets people here, so getting on furniture is allowed as well.

“Maverick has loved walking with Emmerson, we will miss her! Thank you 🩵”

About: I’ve had a lifetime of pet care experience that began in my childhood. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets—from cats and dogs to birds, fish, reptiles, and even horses. I offer a full range of services including walking, administering medications through any route, nail trims, bathing, and plenty of pets and belly rubs. My experience extends to working with senior pets as well as those recovering from abuse or neglect. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take pride in providing care that mirrors the love and attention they receive from their own families. Since relocating back to my home state, pet care has become the cornerstone of my daily and weekly schedule. Every morning, I start by visiting clients’ homes to ensure each pet is fed, medicated, and ready for the day with a brisk walk or playful session. I meticulously plan time slots for essential services like bathing, nail trims, and special attention for senior or recuperating pets, ensuring each one receives personalized care. Afternoons are dedicated to scheduled visits and longer sessions for more intensive care, while my evenings allow for follow-up calls and planning for the next day’s appointments. This structured yet flexible routine lets me deliver full-time, compassionate pet care that meets the unique needs of every animal in my care. When you invite me into your home, you’re not just hiring a pet care service—you’re welcoming someone who treats your space and your pet as if they were my own. I bring a lifetime of experience and a compassionate, full-time commitment to ensure that every visit maintains the safety and comfort of your pets environment. I carefully adhere to your routines and preferences, providing everything from gentle walks and precise medication administration to personalized grooming and plenty of love. Whether caring for senior pets or those recovering from challenging circumstances, I ensure that every service is executed with trust, respect, and meticulous attention to your pet’s well-being. This approach guarantees that your pet remains in a familiar, secure setting while receiving top-tier care that mirrors your own high standards.

My experience comes from working in animal hospitals, pet stores, daycare, boarding, and rescue facilities. I've also been a dog walker for about 3 years. I worked for a dog walking company for 2 years and then started my own pet care/dog walking business called Road Dogs Pet Care and Transportation. I take care, safety, and love very seriously and will always do my best to make sure your babe feels as comfortable and happy as possible! Profile update: Hi, a lot has changed since I first joined Rover so I wanted to inform everyone of those changes so you are aware of our new kids. :) I no longer have my three elderly babies as they have all passed away due to old age. We now have two new babies Six and Pepper. Six is my 2 year old Border Collie/Heeler mix. She's very spunky, sweet, and playful! Pepper is our 2 1/2 yr old 7 lb. poodle. She is basically my daughters little sidekick and spends almost all of her time with her. She sometimes thinks she's a Doberman, but she's harmless and warms up quick. Once she warms up she's ready to run with the big (and little) dogs! They're both very sweet and playful girls and are used to lots of new visitors all the time. :) I'm home full-time and take care of my two kids, two dogs, and our aquatic turtle. Aside from running occasional errands or appointments, I'm able to give your dog or dogs all the love, attention, and playtime that they need. I'm also available for daily dog walks if needed. I have a large fully fenced yard for them to run and play in. They are all inside and outside frequently throughout the day as needed or as they please. I'm happy to cater to any individual needs. 2/23/25 Update: Hi, so its now been about 23 years of working with all these beautiful, loyal, and loving canine friends! Im still available for boarding when you're away, home drop-ins, and daily walks or potty breaks if you don't have time. We have a new family member now. Marley is our newest baby girl. She is a two year old Dalmatian and she is super sweet and full of spunk and playful energy! She gets along with everybody. :) So our household currently consists of Me, my partner, my two daughters, 10 & 16, Six, Pepper, Marley, Mr.B (water turtle), and newest member, Dude (The Blue Betta :) My name is Amber Autumn. Autumn is my middle name, and I went by Autumn when I started my Rover Acct. Feel free to call me either, just wanted everyone to know my first name also so there would be no confusion. Please let me know if you are in need of a sitter or services and I would be happy to help! Can't wait to meet new friends and see old ones again! Cant wail for warm weather and lots more sunshine and playtime! :)) Basically I live and breath kids and dogs and my world pretty much revolves around my kids and yours. :) I have learned a lot over the last 23 years so I am very qualified in giving your pup the care they want and need while you are away. I have a very large fully fenced in yard and 3 friendly and playful babes to keep your baby company. Everyone has free roam in the house or outside during the day. I can also kennel if need be or I only kennel if need be or at night or if I leave the house for any reason. If I come to your home, I would follow any instructions you give mv e and the time frame that you are needing services.

About: Life long dog people. We currently are owned by 2 beautiful King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, Jesse and Jasper. We have a huge fenced in yard complete with a doggie door so your puppers can play in the yard whenever they feel the urge! We have a rotating schedule with the adults, and kids are home early afternoon from school. With this schedule, there is almost no time that your doggos will be alone. We have 2 Cavaliers that will be excited to keep your fur babies occupied. They will be allowed free rein of the main level of the house and kenneled at night for a little sleepy time.

About: I have helped care for cats and dogs since I was a kid. In addition to my own pets, I have frequently cared for my family and friends' pets on a drop-in and overnight basis. I recently rescued a kitten, a sweet grey tabby. I am very reliable and excited to care for your pet just as I would my own. 🥰🤗 I teach a few days a week but I usually work remotely and have the flexibility and availability for drop-ins during the work day and evenings. 🌞🌛 I am not looking to care for pets in my own home, having recently adopted a kitten who is not yet fixed. However, I am prepared to care for your pet in your home/yard and would be sure to respect any boundaries or guidelines you set so you and your pet feel comfortable and safe. 🐶😺

Emma O.
“Emma has cared for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens most of her life. We have been a foster family for Kansas City Pet Project for the last 11 years. Emma is always willing to jump in and assist, including bottle feeding underage puppies as well as helping to clean up after them. Emma has had numerous house sitting opportunities and she is passionate about, and enjoys, caring for animals and putting their owners at ease. She is trustworthy, reliable, kind, sensitive, and giving. She is a college student trying to do something meaningful for others while also enjoyable to her, while giving her some financial means to help support herself. I know she would appreciate those willing to give her an opportunity to prove her dedication and responsibility to you, your family, and your pets! I have seen her work in our home over the years, and with our own pets; she makes a strong connection with them. I highly recommend Emma!!”

“Quinn is amazing with bunnies, puppies, and kitties. She is a lover of all animals. The ones that tend to shy away from people typically are drawn to her. She is so sweet and gentle with shy babies. She’d be a wonderful sitter for you animals. She even likes the scary ones like snakes and spiders! 10 out of 10 recommend Quinn.”

Brittany R.
“I have no doubt that Brittany would make a wonderful addition to the Rover team. She is a caring and responsible person who is very passionate about the wellbeing of animals. She is the only person that I let watch my very picky (and moody) rescue dog when I am out of town. Brittany goes above and beyond when pet sitting. She always gives me daily updates and sends pictures to calm my anxiety while I am away. I would highly recommend her to care for any fur-baby!”

“I’ve known Whitney for years now, and I honestly never worry about my cats when they’re with them. They swing by my place for long visits, and every time, my fur babies—yes, even my grumpy old orange tabby—get all the love and care they need. Whitney treats my cats like family, always making sure they’re fed, playful, and relaxed in my own home. It’s such a relief to have someone who feels more like a true friend than just a pet sitter.”

Amber Autumn H.
“I always call Autumn for all of my chocolate lab's nail trims. She's knowledgeable, intuitive, and makes house calls! My dog has very dark nails, which can be challenging to trim, but she has always done a stellar job. She's the only one I trust with my pet, and will continue to use her for all of my nail trims, dog walking, and boarding needs.”

Lillian C.
“I would definitely recommend Lilly to take care of your pets! She is one of the most animal loving person I know. She takes care of my cat with so much love like it’s her kid. If you saw the way she is with her parent’s dog too you wouldn’t doubt her for a second to take care of your pet. There is no doubt of the care she gives to animals always wanting to reward them with love. Sometimes I think she prefers animals over people. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants the best for their pet!”
