“Jessica was a wonderful pet sitter to our older cat. She was able to do a few overnights so our cat wasn’t lonely. She actually stayed longer than scheduled because of a snow storm. Our house was left tidy and communication was good throughout our trip including pictures. We would use Jessica again.”

“Mary did a great job caring for our dogs while we were out of town. We will definitely be using her again and appreciate her help especially at last minute. Thank you Mary!!”

“Josh did an awesome job and I will definitely be using him again. Super communicative and touched based with me several times a day with photos. Definitely helped in taking the stress out of leaving my pets behind. Super grateful for his help.”

“Excellent sitter for my 8 year old and 2 1 year old Rottweiler puppies. Mya is a loving and compassionate person. She followed my special instructions to the tee and was especially great with my youngest puppy with epilepsy as one of the 7 dogs in her own household also has epilepsy. I couldn't have asked for a better person than Mya for my last minute booking while I had surgery. Will definitely use her repeatedly! Highly recommend.”

“Baleigh took great care of our two dogs while we were out of town! She provided check-ins with pictures, which was so appreciated. We asked her to housesit as well and she left things tidy and exactly as we left things. I highly recommend Baleigh!”

About: I have always loved dogs growing up and playing with them brings me a sense of joy. I have dogs of my own and I always make sure that they are loved and cared for I currently work as a receptionist part time, so I’m free anytime to love, play, and take care of your pets whenever it’s necessary for you! At my home we have an electric fence, but we also have leashes for our dogs and others friends incase we have company over there

“I used Jessica for the first time and couldn’t be happier with the experience of her staying in our home and caring for Wrigley! From the start, communication was clear, timely, and reassuring. It’s never easy leaving your dog with someone new, but Jessica made me feel completely comfortable. Wrigley was well cared for, happy, and clearly got lots of attention and love while away. I really appreciated the updates and photos—it made all the difference knowing everything was going so well. I’ll absolutely be using Jessica again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog sitter!”

About: I’m 69 years old, and have had dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, ducks, hamsters, bearded dragons and a gecko for pets as well as fish! I can provide several references from people I have cared for their pets. I love all animals. I do work part time 9-1:30 M-F but will be able to take care of your pet before work and then after and through the night. I’m very trust worthy and would love the opportunity to care for your pets I’m currently working part time and would have plenty of time to care for your pet before and after work. I’m also available to spend the nights when needed. I provide in your home sitting only. I feel keeping your pet in their home in their familiar surroundings is much less stressful on them. I will provide as much love and cuddles as they will allow. My typical day during the week would consist of me getting up early enough to let your pet out to potty, feed and water them and play a little while. Then I would go to work till 12:30/1:30, go back to your house and repeat the morning routine unless your pet does not eat again in the afternoon, play and cuddle as much as your pet wants. If your pet sleeps with you, they are more than welcome to sleep with me too.
“Cameron watched our two dogs and our house for two weeks while we were on vacation. I honestly dont think we would have had better or more attentive service from a close friend or even a family member. Cameron was on time, every time. Left the house just as spotless as it was when we left, and the dogs loved having his company. The daily messages and pup-photos were proof of that. If you're looking for someone to watch your pets and/or your home, just stop looking and contact Cameron.”

“She is very kind and caring and did a fabulous job taking care of our Star while we were out of town. She was also very responsive and we will definitely hire her again in the future.”

I have experience with an abandoned, abused and anxious dog who needed patience and compassion on a daily basis. I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs from tiny chihuahua’s to large labradors & Dobermans. Each one with a personality all their own. I’m retired and I’m looking for a meaningful way to fill my days. My Rover reputation is based on you & your pets happiness!
“Ann is an Angel , she was so good with both of my dogs she sent a lot of pictures to let me know they were eating and doing just fine. She played with them and cleaned up there muddy paws after they went outside she even vacuumed my floor when she left and took out our trash we will use her again”

About: I’ve also had guinea pigs and rabbits and birds and goats. I love all animals and am happy to care for them no matter what shape or size. They all deserve love and attention and as long as I have solid instructions then I got it covered and they’ll feel like they’re my own babies. I’m currently unemployed. I’m getting certified to sell insurance and am home. I have two children in pre school and elementary school and the extra money would help a lot in this transitional period. I can happily come to your home and give your animals all the love they need. I’m in an apartment so coming to my home isn’t available currently but I can do check-ins or extended stays at your home depending on what you need.

About: I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters, caring for and socializing dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. As a Rover customer myself, I know firsthand what pet owners are looking for — clear communication, timely updates, and knowing your animal is in safe, caring hands. I’m a lifelong animal lover who takes the responsibility seriously — your pet gets attentive, and patient care. I’m dependable and will treat your furry family member like my own. I work 2 days from home and then have other Friday off with weekends off as well. I prioritize what you request and ensure you get plenty of updates and pictures of the adventures we are having! I prioritize your animals. I have used rover many times and have had good and bad experiences so I know what I expect as a customer and put that into action as I care for you fur babies!

About: Having lifelong experience around both dogs and cats has helped me become very comfortable caring for animals of all sizes and personalities. I’ve grown up around both dogs and cats and have been responsible for feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for them whenever my parents were away. I’ve had both small and large dogs so I understand that every pet has different needs and energy levels. I’m very patient, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Over the years, I’ve learned how to read dogs’ body language and recognize when they need space, comfort, playtime, or extra attention. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, cared for, and loved while their owners are away, and I will treat every animal like they are my own. As a college student majoring in Exercise Science who is home for the summer, pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine! I have a very flexible schedule and lots of availability to dedicate time, attention, walks, playtime, and care to your pets. Tuesdays through Thursdays I’m unavailable between 12–6 PM, but I’m still available mornings and evenings on those days. Overall, I’m able to be very flexible and spend plenty of quality time with your pups while making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved. I’m very attentive when caring for pets, and my main goal is to make them feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while their humans are away. I know what it’s like to have velcro dogs who get anxious when their people leave, so I always try to give pets extra attention, patience, playtime, and affection so they feel safe and not alone. I have 4 dogs of my own, so I’m very used to busy and sometimes chaotic environments, and I’m comfortable handling different personalities and energy levels. I’ll always treat your pets like they’re my own and do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible!
“Caitlin has done a few drop ins and watched my two dogs for three nights, she has been wonderful. She keeps me updated with texts and photos. When I came home, my house was perfect. I know she takes good care of my girls. I would definitely use Caitlin again and would recommend her! Thanks so much Caitlin!”
“Emma arrived promptly for the meet and greet as well as the day her services were scheduled. Our furbabies really liked Emma. Zula can be very territorial and bark a lot if she feels unsafe or unsure, but she didn’t bark at Emma. Emma took her time getting to know both Bear and Zula and wore them out playing with them outside. Emma did have some personal things come up during her stay, but she stayed in constant communication and made sure the dogs were let out and fed. We will book her services again!”

“Lorin was an absolute dream to work with! She took care of our dog, Daisy while we were out of town, and she kept her and our house safe and sound. Her communication was incredible and the consistent photos made being away much easier! We will definitely reach back out to her for future needs and would recommend her to anyone needing help with their fur babies.”

Anthony took incredible care of our cats and our home while we were away. He went above and beyond in every possible way — keeping everything clean, making sure the cats were happy and comfortable, and even taking care of thoughtful extra details around the house. It was obvious how much he genuinely cared for Rogelio and Octavio, and we were able to fully relax on our trip because of it. We came home to very happy cats and a spotless home. We’re so grateful and would absolutely trust him again in the future!
