About: I've been caring for cats since l was about about 6 or 7 years old. After I lost my oldest cat Sailym at 17, I've decided I wanted to continue helping others with their pets while they travel and give them a peace of mind like I had during my trips to Spain in college. The past few years I have dedicated some of my free time to help a few family and friends with their other dogs and cats while they take long travels at a country. I currently work full time but am free throughout the entire weekend which is why I prefer cats. I am able to stay overnight at places as long as I can commute to and from my own office as well as drop by my house to see my cats too. My house are currently has one to two dedicated rooms just for pets that includes cat trees, extra litter boxes and places to play, as well as toys. “Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that!
