About: Hi, my name is Autumn and i have worked with dogs and other animals for over 15 years. My experience comes from working in animal hospitals, pet stores, daycare, boarding, and rescue facilities. I've also been a dog walker for about 3 years. I worked for a dog walking company for 2 years and then started my own pet care/dog walking business called Road Dogs Pet Care and Transportation. I am a single mother of two daughters (5 & 11) and dog mom of 3 older (13,13, &15), very sweet dogs. They are all very social and well behaved. I have a large fenced in yard. I also have experience doing nail trims and offer in-home nail trims. i also have experience bathing and administering medications. I take care, safety, and love very seriously and will always do my best to make sure your babe feels as comfortable and happy as possible! Profile update: Hi, a lot has changed since I first joined Rover. I no longer have my three elderly babies as they have all passed away due to old age. We now have two new additions to our family, Six and Pepper. Six is my 2 year old Border Collie/Heeler mix. She's very spunky, sweet, and playful! Pepper is our 2 1/2 yr old 7 lb. poodle. She is basically my daughters little sidekick and spends almost all of her time with her. She sometimes thinks she's a Doberman, but she's harmless and warms up quick. Once she warms up she's ready to run with the big dogs! They're both great girls and are used to new friends and visitors often. 😊 I'm home full-time and take care of my two kids, two dogs, and our aquatic turtle. Aside from running occasional errands or appointments, I'm able to give your dog or dogs all the love, attention, and playtime that they need. I'm also available for daily dog walks if needed. I have a large fully fenced yard for them to run and play in. They are all inside and outside frequently throughout the day as needed or as they please. I'm happy to cater to any individual needs. 2/23/25 Update: Hi, so its now been about 23 years of working with all these amazing beautiful babes! Im still available for boarding, home drop-ins, and daily walks or potty breaks if you don’t have time or need any extra help. We have a new family member now. Marley is our newest baby girl. She is a two year old Dalmatian and she is super sweet and full of playful sweet energy! She gets along with everybody. :) So our household currently consists of Me, my partner, my two daughters (10 & 16), Six, Pepper, Marley, and Mr.B (Turtle). Also just to clarify, my name is Amber Autumn Hays. I went by Autumn when I first started my Rover Act. Looking forward to warm weather and summertime fun! ☀️ Basically I live and breath kids and dogs and my world pretty much revolves around my kids and yours. :) I have learned a lot over the last 23 years so I am very qualified in giving your pup the care they want and need while you are away. I have a very large fully fenced in yard and 3 friendly and playful babes to keep your baby company. Everyone has free roam in the house or outside during the day. I can also kennel if need be or I only kennel at night or if I leave the house for any reason. If I come to your home, I follow any instructions you give me and the time frame that you’re needing.

About: I just love animals, and went to school to major in Animal Science. I have previously worked as a vet tech at Southwest and Woodland Animal Hospital, and have a certification for dog training. I now just work from home part time doing medical billing and coding while I am working on obtaining my masters degree in Animal Science. Boarding rates are so high, just for the pup to sit in a kennel most of the day, so we are kennel free (unless the owner requests I use theirs) and no extra charge for playtime or extra treats! My family are all pet lovers here as well, so my husband and kids love having extra dogs around to spoil with treats, snuggles, and endless playtime in the backyard. We never watch more than three pets at a time, to make sure every one of them gets plenty of attention. I know a lot of sitters watch up to 8, but we like controlled chaos! I have a big fenced in backyard, tons of dog and cat toys and tennis balls, and of course washable couch cushions and rugs everywhere because we know accidents happen 😂 My golden loves having new playmates, and is passive to a fault. I work remotely part time from home while working on my Masters, previously I worked at the Social Security Administration HQ here in KCMO. I can administer medication, and my speciality is elderly dogs that need extra attention and/or dogs that don’t do well in typical boarding situation due to anxiety and/or destructive behaviors because here, they can have as much attention as they do (or don’t!) want! I currently work from home 20 hours a week medical billing and coding and doing online program for my masters. My schedule is very flexible and I am at home pretty much 24/7. I have a fenced in large yard in a quiet neighborhood, so I walk dogs I watch/my dogs 1-2 times a day and let out any elderly dogs I am currently watching through the front door to avoid the deck steps. I feed my dogs twice a day, they drink filtered water and get denta sticks each day. I always bring dog treats on walks so reinforce good behavior. We consider our pets people here, so getting on furniture is allowed as well, unless the owner says to discourage. I do not kennel dogs unless owner provides kennel and instructs me to use it for crate training/destructive behaviors.

About: I'm a former marketing specialist and I wanted to follow my passion for animals and become a full-time dog walker/sitter. I have owned dogs and cared for friends dogs for many years. I have owned 2 standard poodles over the years, so I'm not afraid of involved pet care. I have done grooming (simple trims, baths, ear care) and training (tricks, walking, running). I love all animals; every breed, shape, and size! I stay at home, so your pet will have my full attention, love, and care. I am a big believer in play and exercise for pets. Cuddles are the best, but it's important to keep their minds and bodies engaged. I will be able to provide yard play (fenced in back yard) and 2-3 walks a day (depending on weather). I'm available 24/7! I have a fenced in backyard and covered patio to provide a safe and shady place for your pet(s). I don't have any other pets, so it is not an issue if your animal does best in an individual setting. I will also only take one family on at a time, so your pet(s) get the attention they deserve. I do have a daughter (5 1/2yrs), but she is wonderful with pets.

About: While I don't have formal experience, I've spent my whole life taking care of pets at home. I've even raised our current pups from puppies to adulthood, handling everything from feeding to playtime. My goal is to treat every pet like part of the family. As we head past graduation and into the summer, I will have a very flexible schedule! I'm available on the weekends, evenings, and soon to be during the weekdays as well! Every pet deserves the family treatment! I'm careful to follow their set routines and rules - whether it's playtime, feeding, or crate time. Your pet's safety always comes first!

About: Hello! I have had pets for about 15 years now, and have been caring for other people pets for about five. I currently walk, not only my two dogs, but my grandma and a few friends and neighbors dogs as well! I’ve walked dogs on the side for about 10 years and want to make it a full time job! I care and love for a few friends and family’s pet. I love cats too! And all the small furry friends. If you need someone to come check on your little ones, I’m the right person for you! About: I have had a dog since I was two. We had a family golden retriever mix. As an adult I have had a purebred golden. I also have pet sit for many friends and neighbors over the years. About: I have taken care of animals by volunteering at the Kansas City pet project as well as fostering animals. I love being around animals and making sure they are well taken care of. Starting January 6th, 2026, I will be starting my student teaching semester, where I am at school from 7:40-3:30 Monday through Friday. Other than that, I can be with the pets as much as you need! I care for pets by making sure they are let out when they need to be, making sure they are fed, and by giving them plenty of love!

About: I currently work at a boarding facility and get to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments! I especially do well with the pups that are a little more nervous or fearful as I’ve been working with dogs and have learned how to read them well! I love to see nervous pups flourish into who they truly are once they get warmed up! I am a lead at PetSuites so I do administer medication daily to pups aswell so don’t be shy about boarding your dog who needs medication! My work schedule: sun. 8-8 Mon, OFF tues 8-5:30 wed 8-5:30 thurs 8-8 fri 8-5:30 sat 8-5:30 IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH YOUR DOG BEING LEFT ALONE FOR 10+ HOURS I CAN CHANGE MY 12 HOUR DAYS TO 9. You just have to book a few weeks in advance I currently work full time and depending on how close the dogs are to my work could swing by before and after work as well as on my break for potties and meals! On my days off I can spend much more time if not the whole day those days! My dogs at home are friendly but one is getting old and a little cranky so in home boarding/visits wouldn’t work best for me as it would likely make your dog more comfortable to be at their own home!

About: Life long dog people. We currently are owned by 2 beautiful King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, Jesse and Jasper. We have a huge fenced in yard complete with a doggie door so your puppers can play in the yard whenever they feel the urge! We have a rotating schedule with the adults, and kids are home early afternoon from school. With this schedule, there is almost no time that your doggos will be alone. We have 2 Cavaliers that will be excited to keep your fur babies occupied. They will be allowed free rein of the main level of the house and kenneled at night for a little sleepy time.
