“I am very happy with the way Komal took care of my dog. She sent pictures and kept me informed of how my dog was doing. Komal is very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!”

“Julia did an AMAZING job of communicating with me & caring for my senior dog. Her attention to detail was on point & I for once wasn’t stressed about how he was doing while I was out of town. I will absolutely use her services again!”

About: I had been a proud pet (Dog) owner and care taker until couple of years back when I had to move to California for work. I am a firm believer of love, care, compassion, kindness and being patient. I’ll be taking by care of the pet to make sure I provide all the necessities as needed. My daily routines starts from leaving the home at 7:30am and my wife/kids comes back at 2:30pm while ai come back by 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday. Fridays I work from home. I have a fenced yard with ample space in my home for the furry friends. There is a big park, just 2 mins walk from my home, where I can walk the pets. I can provide toys for the furry friends as well.
“Highly recommend Maya! Maya provided drop-in visits for our two dogs and four rabbits, and everything went smoothly. Communication was great throughout, she was always prompt, and it was clear our pets were well cared for. We really appreciated the reliability and attention. We will be booking Maya again.”

“I met Surjit in the Peace Corps and since day one she’s shown a tremendous quality of being a dependable friend. She’s charismatic, she’s thoughtful, and she’s an extremely loving caretaker. When my dog Darwin first met her, his eyes lit up and his pupils went wide with love for her as they continue to do so every time they get together and forget I’m even there. She’s one of the very few people who I trust enough to take care of Darwin and they continue to bond in a way I don’t really see with other people since, even though my dog is very cute, I think he knows it and can be a bit antisocial and aloof. But Surjit sees him and fully accepts him for who he is, as I see her do with all pets in her life. I happily endorse Surjit because I know that she does not just see your pet as a dog or a cat, she sees them as individuals with their own personalities, fears, habits, wants, and needs. I happily endorse Surjit because I know that she will, without a doubt, go above and beyond and take care of your pet like she takes care of her own family and friends.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and caring for them has always been a big part of who I am. Growing up, my family had a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, horses, and rabbits, so I’m very comfortable with different types of animals and personalities. During my time at CSU, I’ve continued that passion by fostering three puppies and a couple of cats over the past few years. This gave me hands-on experience with everything from young, high-energy pets to helping animals adjust to new environments. I also regularly help care for my roommate’s dog and cat, so I’m used to day-to-day responsibilities like feeding, walking, playing, and making sure pets feel safe and loved. I truly love animals and being around them is part of my everyday life—I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and love while you’re away. I’m currently a CSU student and work during the week, so I’m primarily available for pet care on weekends. That said, I do have some flexibility during certain weekdays depending on my class and work schedule, so feel free to reach out—I’m happy to see if I can make something work! I focus primarily on dog walking and drop-in visits, and I always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. During walks, I make sure dogs are securely leashed, stay in safe areas, and get the right amount of exercise based on their energy level and needs. For drop-in visits, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—whether that’s feeding, playtime, walks, or just keeping them company. I always take time to make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for, especially when their owners are away. I’m very attentive to details and will follow any specific instructions you provide, including medications, feeding schedules, or behavior preferences. I also make sure your home is respected and left exactly how I found it. Communication is important to me, so I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and in good hands!
“Elizabeth was able to accommodate me in a time of emergency. She was quick to respond and always gave pics for the visits. Penny can be shy, but warmed up to Elizabeth right way. I really appreciate Penny had such great care.”

About: Hey there! 🐾 I've been surrounded by pets all my life, so caring for furry friends comes naturally to me. When I'm not at the elementary school where I work, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, often with a canine companion by my side. I'm excited to meet your pets and provide them with the love and attention they deserve plus gain some daily morning exercise while walking your dog! I'm looking to be able to walk dogs early in the morning before my Kids' Country job around 10am. If possible, I can do drop in visits afterward 6:30pm. I'm fully available Saturday and Sunday. I have a fenced in yard to give dogs some freedom, but I am looking to give dogs walks as often as possible around the Danville/ Alamo/ Blackhawk and San Ramon areas.
“Booked a super last minute drop in visit for our dogs with Trevor and he was as excellent as when he did in-house dog sitting for us for a few days, communicative, attentive to the dogs and professional! Were very lucky to have found a reliable pet sitter our pups clearly adore!”

“Tasha is an amazing dog walker! Her love for animals shines through in everything she does. Azul adores her and always has a blast on their walks. She’s reliable, caring, and great at keeping me updated. If you want someone who treats your dog like family, Tasha’s the one!”

About: Woof Woof Woof Meow Meow Meow I have pet sat for friends and family and would love to extend that service to my bay area neighbors. Love taking dogs for walks or to the local parks such as Fort Funston or McLaren Park. I have a skittish indoor cat, Spikey(5yr American shorthair), who is initially very shy but usually warms up to people. Checking in on cats and cleaning litter boxes is not new to me. Just want to treat your fur baby with the love, care and respect I would use to treat my own fur babies. Woof Woof Woof Meow Meow Meow I have partial work from home schedule, going into the office 2-3 days a week. Commute time is only 5 mins to Oyster Point in SSF, so can easily pop back in for a lunch time walk if needed. Your fur babies will have free roam of the living room with views of the bay and any birds outside. Best if puppies are crate trained for the night. If you are dropping off multiple pets I can separately feed them if needed.
“I had a last-minute need for someone to check in on my dog due to a flight delay, and Hailey truly saved the day! She responded quickly, was flexible and reliable, and kept me updated throughout the entire process to ensure my dog was well cared for. I’m so grateful to Hailey for stepping in on such short notice and would highly recommend her for any future pet sitting needs. Thank you, Hailey!”

About: I've taken care of close family friends dogs and I've worked at a pet resort for dogs and other animals. You can trust me to treat them with so much love and give them their basic needs and anything else you'd like for me to do with them (: I currently work with dogs full time with a schedule and I will work around the schedule and when it comes to your fur baby I prioritize them first before working with other dogs. I do not have pets of my own but because I've taken care of others and worked at a pet resort for dogs and other animals I know what's needed to be done. I know dog behavior, feedings, medicine, how often they should go use the bathroom, etc.
About: Hi! I’m a big animal lover and have been around dogs for about 7 years. I have two dogs of my own, so I’m really comfortable with both small and big pups. I’ve also helped friends take care of their cats before. I’m patient, gentle, and pretty attentive. I can help with walks, feeding, playtime, and just making sure your pet feels safe and happy. I’ve also used another walking app, so I’m used to meeting different dogs with different personalities. I treat every pet like my own and always try to pay attention to what they need 😊 My schedule is flexible, and I’m available on weekends as well. I can spend plenty of time with your pet and provide consistent care throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow all care instructions carefully and always stay attentive during walks and at home. I’m happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and well looked after at all times.
“I am so happy Nala warmed up to Ayla right away! She was extremely helpful, caring and provided fantastic updates following each visit. I felt so comfortable away on vacation knowing my cat was in good hands!”

About: Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by animals because of my parents being vets. Currently, I have six dogs, a rabbit, and a cat! I have helped take care of, raise, and train two puppy litters. Being around all kinds of animals is a joy and pets health and safety is my biggest priority. I am a full time student, however I have an extremely flexible schedule which allows me to spend as much time as need be with pets. I also am not employed, so your pets would be my first priority. I am extremely adaptable to the needs of your pets, whether it be specific dietary needs or sleeping habits, I can accommodate whatever your pets (and you!) need to feel 100% safe. Normally, I take care of mail and garbage when I am staying at a house, unless asked otherwise.
“Eric was amazing! He was prompt, gentle with our small Chihuahua, and very responsive. He somehow even got our cats to come out and say hi! We cannot recommend him more highly and will be hiring him again!”

Blackhawk cat parents share their Rover experiences
Overall Paige was pleasant to work with. She was kind and sent some pictures of our cats, and spent the full hour with our pets. We had some concerns about her not adhering to the requested time of day for visits and the amount of food she gave our cats despite our written out directions. Our cats ran out of food less than 4 hours after she left and it should have been enough to sustain them for a full day. When alerting Paige of this she reassured us she would arrive earlier to feed them, but instead showed up almost two hours late. This meant she almost missed the window before the guest access code to our home expired. We appreciate her taking time to play and care for our cats but we do have some reservations about rebooking in the future.
