About: My name is Miranda, and I am an animal lover with previous pet sitting experience looking to help take care of your cute critter in your absence! I have extensive experience with cat ownership and pet sitting, including senior and medically complex felines. I also have some experience with pet sitting for dogs and other small pets, like birds and fish. If you are in the Pittsburgh area and are looking for someone kind, trustworthy, dedicated, and caring to look after your animal, I am here to help! :) I have very free availability at the moment, as I run my own business for work and make my own hours! Pet care is actually the crux of my personal daily routine. My own cute critter, my cat Flower, keeps me quite occupied at home, whether it's feeding her on schedule, giving her lots of playtime, or just snuggling up for some brushing. Rest assured, I'll treat your furry family member as if they were my own. I would love to have an introduction meeting with you, virtual or in-person, so we can discuss your pet's needs, preferences, and schedule! Every pet is different, and it is very important that I understand your cute critter's individual personality so I can give them the quality care they deserve. During the introductory meeting, I will be sure to ask specifics about diet and medication, as well, so that no changes are made to their regular routine. I work hard to be timely and courteous by keeping pet owners updated about their cute critters while away, and will always make sure to include some pictures for you to enjoy! I make sure that I am accessible around the clock in case any questions or concerns arise while you're away.

About: I have had 3 rescue dogs and 3 rescue cats over the past 30 years. I have dealt with all ages and various medical conditions. In addition, I have continuously watched dogs for my family and friends. For several years I also volunteered for Animal Friends, walking dogs and doing cat socialization. I work a full time job, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. I have plenty of availability weekday evenings. The weekends I am available from 7am to 10pm. I treat your home and your furry family members with the utmost respect and care. During my visits, I ensure your pet stays strictly on their familiar routine to minimize any stress or anxiety. I keep a watchful eye on their behavior, ensuring they don't chew on anything hazardous and stay safe while exploring the yard or going on walks. Your home's security is vital to me, so I double-check locks every time I enter or leave. In the rare event of an issue, I am fully prepared to contact your preferred veterinarian and coordinate with Rover's 24/7 support team immediately.

About: I don’t have much experience with dogs if I’m being honest. The only experience I had with a dog was with a baby pitbull and that was for about a year. That being said, despite my lack of experience I am willing to learn. My love for animals in general is why I am open to learning. I will still provide the same love, care and affection for a dog as I would a cat. My daily and weekly routine is very open for pet care. I am currently on maternity leave so I have lots of availability throughout my days. I treat them like their family and not strangers or “just for the money type of thing”. If the client has special requests as far as how they would want their pet taken care of, I would follow those requests and update the clients along the way.

About: I have been an animal lover all my life and have been around all types of animals. But dogs are my sweet spot. I have owned my own dog for the past 3 years, but have had numerous family dogs while growing up. I learned how to train my own dog by getting training lessons for her. I love caring my friend’s dogs and am often the one they ask to watch their pets when they leave town. I will give your pet all the scratches and belly rubs they desire as well take them on walks in my neighborhood as often as needed. As of now, I’m only able to do house sitting on the weekends, but I’m glad to do drop in visits and walking throughout the week. I currently work in a hybrid job setting where I am home 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week. But I am able to take breaks to take pups out for walks every 4-6 hours. I when walking other people’s dogs I am make sure they are leashes securely and comfortably. I only walk in neighborhoods that are walkable or if needed can transport in my car to a a more walkable neighborhood. I want all the dogs I care for to feel safe when out on their walks.
