“Shaina was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and attentive. She foresaw questions that needed clarification and was prepared when she took care of the animals.”

“Jenny knew how to approach my two senior cats and had an instant rapport with them. I really appreciated her calm demeanor and how she wasn't afraid to ask questions. I had a couple of additional requests while away, and she was able to accommodate them and also ease my anxiety!”

“My dog has a lot of separation anxiety. Jessica popped in to take her for a walk while I was at work. Jessica was great with communication and sent me a picture while on their walk. Jessica was thorough, and asked great questions prior to meeting my dog. She gave me peace of mind while I was at work. I would recommend Jessica and will be using her again! 😊”

“Danielle is awesome. We have four dogs, three of them on the bigger side, and one has to wear a belly band due to marking in the house. She’s awesome about getting it off him before going out to potty and putting a new one on. It’s an odd task, but she handles it with ease! She does weekly visits for us and is great with the pups. Trustworthy and thorough - we highly recommend her!”

“Jake did a wonderful job dropping in and caring for my 2 cats. We came home to very tidy eating and litter box areas. My family really enjoyed receiving regular updates and Pics (nice touch). Also, Jake was very professional [took notes] and knew all the right questions to ask during our meet and greet, which was great as I am new to Rover. He made us feel at ease about the entire process. I highly recommend Jake if you are in need of a pet sitter.”

“This was my second time asking Yana to watch Josie. As before, Josie seemed to be very comfortable with her and was in good spirits when I got home. This time I had a very last-minute schedule change, and Yana was so kind and flexible. She also takes wonderful pictures!”

“Eronda was such a caring and loving person whit my maxis, I’m sure they loved to spend this time whit her. She send me updates and pictures everyday after a walk and I can say they were calm, pampered and very happy. Thank you so much Eronda, there’s no better feeling than to know your furry babies are safe and having some love ❤️.”

About: I have experience working with many types of animals, including reptiles, cats, dogs, small mammals, amphibians, and birds. I’ve also had the opportunity to care for and live with many of these animals, which has given me a strong understanding of their needs and behaviors. I’m currently a college student and work part-time during the weekdays, so weekends would be the best time for me to provide pet sitting. I’m happy to offer reliable and attentive care for your pets during that time. I always make pet safety and comfort my top priorities. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I make sure they have a clean, secure, and stress-free environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, give plenty of exercise and playtime, and make sure they receive lots of attention and affection. I also follow any specific instructions for medications, routines, or special needs. In a client’s home, I respect their space and work to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible.
About: I’m a lifetime animal lover with a genuine passion for caring for dogs and cats. While I may be new to professional pet sitting, I have years of experience caring for animals and understanding their needs and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I'm a stay at home mom for my two children in elementary school. I'm very flexible during the week between the hours or 9:00am and 4:00, but also have some availability in the evenings and on weekends. All visits can be tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Services include feeding, fresh water, walking and exercise, playtime, litter box cleaning, and companionship. I follow all care instructions closely, maintain pets’ routines, and monitor their health and behavior to ensure their safety and comfort while their owners are away.
About: Hi, I'm Courtney! I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner/handler for over 25 years. I started my first pet care business when I was 10! As a teenager, I volunteered with Animal Friends as a dog walker, cat handler, and dog bather for the annual New Years Eve Rescue. Since then, I have adopted and cared for many dogs and cats over the years. For most of my life, I have lived in multi-dog and multi-cat households. I truly understand what it takes to care for our furry friends. I know the importance of quality playtime, proper socializing, and exercise. I have experience raising and training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs. I am especially good at leash training and "walking manners", which I believe are so important to ensure our pets get the exercise they need! I am familiar with different dog personalities, including handling reactive dogs and managing interactions between multiple dogs. Currently, I am dog mom to Chidi and Munch, both pit mixes. Since the boys prefer living without cats, we are a cat-free household for the first time ever, and sometimes I really miss having a cat in my lap! My other experience includes: - Dog handler at Pittsburgh Paws Pet Resort, Sewickley PA; supervising up to 70+ dogs in the main yard during peak days; feeding, administering medication, and cleaning kennels for boarding dogs; bathing and grooming; and caring for boarding cats - General laborer at Rag & Frass Sustainable Farm, Jeffersonville, Georgia; daily care tasks for 20+ chickens, including feeding, watering, gathering and cleaning eggs, and ensuring birds are securely inside coops every night; supervise farm dogs and cats, including sequestering according to their needs, training to farm boundaries, monitoring interactions with new or visiting dogs as well as larger farm animals including a cow and her calf - Volunteer at Hog Heaven Rescue Farm, Cochranton, PA: assisted in building a shelter for horses in the field, socialized with a variety of rescued farm animals, including horses, goats, and pigs I have a flexible schedule. I can arrange my availability around your pet's needs, whether that's a drop-in visit, walk, or pet-sitting. For overnight stays, I can provide their regular evening and morning routines while you are away. Walks: the bread-and-butter of care and exercise for our furry friends! I can provide walks of different lengths (20 minutes minimum) tailored to the needs of your pet. If your pet is not leash trained, we can work on that too! Drop-in visits: I can stop by for a potty break, mealtime or playtime. In-house pet sitting: I can stay overnight with your pet on weeknights or weekends. I can provide their regular evening and morning routines while you are away.
“Nikki was a life saver! I had a family emergency which required a next day booking and she made herself available. Even my shy girl Annie warmed up to her. Nikki was very amenable to several changes in schedule with no problems. She will be the first we call the next time a sitter is needed and I know Annie and Blu look forward to seeing her again!”

“Brianna was so patient and understanding of last minute scheduling hiccups and really gave me peace of mind! My pups were comfortable with her immediately. Great communication and would absolutely trust her to watch them again!”

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life, always having a cat, dog, and some sort of exotic animal in my house! I am currently a cat and rabbit mom and I have dog walked since I was 16 years old. I have done overnight care for pets staying in other people’s homes, and I would be happy to help board if I can! I work full time as a SPED teacher so the evenings & weekends are ideal for. I get off work at 4pm so I can do 4:30 later as a reasonable time M-F. I also work at a bar on the weekends but I can take off from there as long as I have 2 weeks notice. I live in an apartment building so I do not let any animals out of my apartment unless they are crated or leashed so they do not get lost in the building.

About: I have owned and taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages. I have also managed dogs with severe anxiety and certain health issues. I am a college student so until May I am limited to weekends. After May, I will be available workdays and weekends during the day and at night. I have confident skills in understanding dog and cat language from past experiences. I am also great at handling and crating dogs at their own comfort level.
Emsworth cat parents share their Rover experiences
Taylor is the sweetest to my pets! I spent a long weekend in Florida & my flight got canceled and. I ended up getting stuck for 2 extra days & she didn’t miss a beat. She said don’t fret and made me feel like my pets were so secure and safe. She is the best

Dezerae was amazing and went above and beyond to take care of my cat, Chubbs, and keep him company! She sent me pictures and videos during every visit and always kept me updated on how he was doing and what they were up to. She even vacuumed a bit before she left, which was unexpected but so thoughtful! I’ll definitely have her watch Chubbs again and would recommend her to anyone.
