About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. (my soul dog’s ashes are in my paw tattoo 🐾🩷) I grew up with Rottweilers and currently have two of my own, Gino & Haus, they're my whole world! From baby videos of me crawling on my dog and giving him a big hug & kiss, to completing a veterinary training class in 10th grade, where I learned the basics of animal health and handling! There even was one time I rescued two dogs on the side of the highway who had dug out of their backyard!! I now have about 3.5 years of hands-on experience working with animals, including two years at doggy daycares, where I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I treat every pet like they're my own and I always try my best to give them a safe, loving, reliable person they can trust just as much as they trust you, no matter how long it takes them to warm up to me. Working with animals is more than just a job to me—it's what I love, and I plan to make it my lifelong career. I am almost always able to stay overnight for house sitting, and depending on my work schedule, I can spend all day, all morning, or all afternoon and evening with your baby. I always try to spend as much time as I can with your baby. (leaving work is as hard as you can imagine) My most common shift is 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, though I can also work morning, afternoon, and split shifts, though the weekday morning shifts are extremely rare. My weekday shifts are never longer than 6.5 hours, and the only time I may be away for up to 10 hours is on the occasional Saturday when I'm scheduled for a longer shift. On Sundays, I usually work split shifts, which means I'm able to come home and spend about 2½ hours with your pet between work periods. If it's a good fit for your baby and you're comfortable with it (and comfortable paying for it😅), I'd also be happy to talk about bringing them with me to my work so they can enjoy extra socialization, enrichment, and attention, while never leaving my side! I'm committed to keeping your babies routine as normal as possible and will always communicate my schedule ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect!! Your babies safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority. I love to take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and other special needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, as if you haven’t even left! I am experienced in administering medications, following food schedules, and providing extremely gentle and personal care. About: I have been an animal lover all my life and have been around all types of animals. But dogs are my sweet spot. I have owned my own dog for the past 3 years, but have had numerous family dogs while growing up. I learned how to train my own dog by getting training lessons for her. I love caring my friend’s dogs and am often the one they ask to watch their pets when they leave town. I will give your pet all the scratches and belly rubs they desire as well take them on walks in my neighborhood as often as needed. As of now, I’m only able to do house sitting on the weekends, but I’m glad to do drop in visits and walking throughout the week. I currently work in a hybrid job setting where I am home 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week. But I am able to take breaks to take pups out for walks every 4-6 hours. I when walking other people’s dogs I am make sure they are leashes securely and comfortably. I only walk in neighborhoods that are walkable or if needed can transport in my car to a a more walkable neighborhood. I want all the dogs I care for to feel safe when out on their walks.
