Your dog would not be left alone for more than a few hours when I have to run out for errands or appointments. I’m a homebody! I live in a safe, quiet neighborhood in the north hills with flat, easy loops for walking. I also have a fenced in, flat backyard that dogs love to play in. I have a 12 year old son who loves dogs and will gladly play with your pup.

In addition, I have continuously watched dogs for my family and friends. For several years I also volunteered for Animal Friends, walking dogs and doing cat socialization. About: I have been an animal lover all my life and have been around all types of animals. But dogs are my sweet spot. I have owned my own dog for the past 3 years, but have had numerous family dogs while growing up. I learned how to train my own dog by getting training lessons for her. I love caring my friend’s dogs and am often the one they ask to watch their pets when they leave town. I will give your pet all the scratches and belly rubs they desire as well take them on walks in my neighborhood as often as needed. As of now, I’m only able to do house sitting on the weekends, but I’m glad to do drop in visits and walking throughout the week. I currently work in a hybrid job setting where I am home 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week. But I am able to take breaks to take pups out for walks every 4-6 hours. I when walking other people’s dogs I am make sure they are leashes securely and comfortably. I only walk in neighborhoods that are walkable or if needed can transport in my car to a a more walkable neighborhood. I want all the dogs I care for to feel safe when out on their walks.

Dezerae was absolutely wonderful. It was my first time away from my Kitty, Olive and was a little skiddish about having a sitter watch her. It couldn't have worked out better. Dezerae came and met Olive beforehand, and we went over everything in preparation for my departure. She was punctual and communicated with me daily about Olive and how things were going. Olive seemed to really love her. I also received daily pictures and videos from Dezerae that were very comforting to see.
