“Lindsay took wonderful care of Loki while we were away. She sent daily pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Loki was happy and well loved. He enjoyed daily walks, plenty of bed cuddles, and all the attention he could ask for. We highly recommend Lindsay and would absolutely book with her again.”

“Emily and Patrick were wonderful! From the beginning, they were asking thoughtful questions about Ruby's needs, routine, and personality. Their dog, Eli, became a new fur friend to our pup, Ruby and the photos and videos they shared while we were away gave us peace of mind. They were also accommodating as we had to change our drop off and pick up times. We will definitely be booking them again!”

“Somdipa watched my Boston terrier, Dude, while I went on vacation for a week, and everything went great! I felt confident that he was well taken care of the whole time. Dude didn't want to leave, so I could tell he had a fun time. Would be very happy to have Somdipa watch Dude again in the future!”

And she sent us photos every day to keep us in-touch with our precious pup. Although Chang sometimes watches multiple dogs at once, her house was very clean and organized. I strongly recommend leaving your dog with Chang and we will do the same, the next time we need a dog sitter. Thank you, Chang.”

“Valerie was fantastic with communication and care of our dog Faith. Faith bonded with Valerie and her son right away and was her energetic self when she returned home. Everything went smoothly and I would certainly trust Valerie again with Faith.”

I like that she works from home so your pet is not left alone very often. And her adorable and very friendly kitten is happy to be a playmate or can be kept separate if needed. Give Audrey a try. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Nelia and Brett were wonderful. They cared for Bronson as if he were a part of their household and were very communicative and accommodating. I highly recommend their service.”

“Mike took great care of my dog while I was away for the weekend! He was gentle and kind with her and was super flexible with my leave and pick up times. I got in touch with him on fairly short notice and he went out of his way to accommodate for us. He sent periodic updates and pictures to make sure she was doing well. She has some tough separation anxiety and had a few accidents but Mike was really patient with her and washed her blanket and crate several times. I appreciate the wonderful care he gave her and will be so happy to reach out to him again if my pup needs boarding!”

About: Although we’re new to Rover, we’ve owned dogs our whole lives and understand that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, others just want someone nearby while they nap. Our family (including our two daughters) are all dog lovers, so visiting dogs become part of the family while they’re here. We’re happy to adjust to whatever helps your dog feel comfortable and stick to the routine they’re used to. I (Keith) work from home several days each week, so pet care fits naturally into my schedule. Morning walks, yard time, potty breaks, meals, and playtime are already part of my day with my own dog, so adding another four-legged friend feels pretty normal. My wife (Leigh) is home in the evenings and on the weekends so we both get to give our dog and visiting dogs a lot of attention and love. We keep our availability realistic so every dog gets the time and attention they deserve. We have a fully fenced backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood that’s great for walks. Our own dog is friendly, but we don’t assume every dog wants an instant playmate, so introductions are always slow and supervised. If your dog needs their own space, that’s not a problem. We’ll follow your feeding schedule, medications, and any instructions you leave so their stay is as close to home as possible.

About: My name is Miranda, and I am an animal lover with previous pet sitting experience looking to help take care of your cute critter in your absence! I have extensive experience with cat ownership and pet sitting, including senior and medically complex felines. I also have some experience with pet sitting for dogs and other small pets, like birds and fish. If you are in the Pittsburgh area and are looking for someone kind, trustworthy, dedicated, and caring to look after your animal, I am here to help! :) I have very free availability at the moment, as I run my own business for work and make my own hours! Pet care is actually the crux of my personal daily routine. My own cute critter, my cat Flower, keeps me quite occupied at home, whether it's feeding her on schedule, giving her lots of playtime, or just snuggling up for some brushing. Rest assured, I'll treat your furry family member as if they were my own. I would love to have an introduction meeting with you, virtual or in-person, so we can discuss your pet's needs, preferences, and schedule! Every pet is different, and it is very important that I understand your cute critter's individual personality so I can give them the quality care they deserve. During the introductory meeting, I will be sure to ask specifics about diet and medication, as well, so that no changes are made to their regular routine. About: I have been an animal lover all my life and have been around all types of animals. But dogs are my sweet spot. I have owned my own dog for the past 3 years, but have had numerous family dogs while growing up. I learned how to train my own dog by getting training lessons for her. I love caring my friend’s dogs and am often the one they ask to watch their pets when they leave town. I will give your pet all the scratches and belly rubs they desire as well take them on walks in my neighborhood as often as needed. As of now, I’m only able to do house sitting on the weekends, but I’m glad to do drop in visits and walking throughout the week. I currently work in a hybrid job setting where I am home 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week. But I am able to take breaks to take pups out for walks every 4-6 hours. I when walking other people’s dogs I am make sure they are leashes securely and comfortably. I only walk in neighborhoods that are walkable or if needed can transport in my car to a a more walkable neighborhood. I want all the dogs I care for to feel safe when out on their walks.

About: I’ve been a dog person my whole life, from growing up with Winnie and Hairdo to caring for my soul dog Cici (Khaleesi) for nearly 14 years. I lost my sweet girl in July and now I have a whole lot of love to give without anywhere to put it. 🥹 Your pup will be treated like royalty with plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and attention... just the way Queen Cici demanded. 👑 I work from home, so my schedule is flexible with plenty of time to give your pup attention between meetings and emails. My day job is in social media so you can guarantee to receive Instagram-worthy photo pupdates while your dog is with me. I’m super active and love a long northside sniff walk. I’m often available for early mornings, lunchtime visits, and late evenings. I’m happy to work with your dog’s routine and needs. My home is set up really well for dogs, with an almost fully fenced-in backyard and a covered deck for relaxing outside. I’m on a quiet street in East Allegheny, with cute spots around for treats like Garden Cafe and ACB. My apartment is on the second floor of a house, so there are stairs to get in and two steps inside the apartment as well.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over four years and currently have four dogs of my own, ranging from giant breeds to my small Corgi, Zeek. Having a variety of dogs has given me experience with different personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I’m comfortable caring for playful puppies, energetic dogs, and seniors who need extra patience and attention. I also volunteered at the Humane Society, where I gained experience working with dogs from many different backgrounds and learned the importance of providing compassionate, individualized care. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets, and I understand how important it is to know your furry family members are safe and loved while you’re away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply a calm companion, I will treat them like one of my own and provide plenty of love, attention, and updates throughout their stay. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and boarding. I believe every dog deserves individualized care, patience, and plenty of affection. I’m comfortable following specific feeding schedules, administering medications, and accommodating any special needs or routines. About: I’ve worked in a dog daycare/boarding facility for two years, & I’ve worked in a kennel for one year. I’ve cared for a range of dog ages, from puppies to senior dogs. The knowledge I’ve gained from my past experience has helped me to learn how to care for dogs, feeding tricks, training techniques, how to stop minor issues a dog may experience, and overall how to love and care for each dog because everyone is different! What may work for one dog won’t work for another and that’s okay! I’ve always treated any dog under my care with the same love & nurturing I give to my old dog. I work from home on Mondays and Tuesdays and don’t work on weekends! This gives me the time to tend to a dog whether they need to be played with, need potty breaks or a walk! I have the flexibility to be available starting at anytime & can either drop a dog off, have a dog picked up starting at 7pm. I would treat a clients dog like they are my own. Making sure the dog is feed, played with & given attention. My own dog goes on 2-3 walks per day, fed twice a day & given treats, the same treatment would be provided to a clients dog, and I can always adjust to what the client would like me to do!

I am familiar with breeds that need a lot of exercise and attention and also breeds that just want someone close and to relax. I am a teacher, so my schedule is incredibly flexible during the summer. I am happy to come take your pup for a walk during the day, come check in with them for a few hours, etc. At my house, l have a fenced in yard so all of the animals are able to go in and out as they please. We also take our dogs for multiple walks every day. I’m happy to hang outside with your pup in the backyard, or take them for a walk—I have an athletic dog myself!

“Victoria was amazing with our two dogs. She was extremely accommodating, kept us very informed, and treated our dogs as her own. Would definitely recommend her to others, and I hope Piper and Chester can sleep over again in the future! Thank you!”

“Sharon is awesome!! We did a meet and greet before the day we needed her to watch Nola which was so nice to let Nola familiarize herself with Sharon and her house. Sharon is very accommodating and gave us lots of pictures and updates while we were gone! Highly recommend!”

“Christine was great! Took great care of my golden retriever while we went away to the beach for a week, and even applied medicine to a hot spot he’s been dealing with. Would definitely have her sit again!”

“Adam was fantastic with Macy! He sent daily pictures of their activities; even twice on most days! Kept us up-to-date on all things and really gave us peace of mind leaving Macy behind for two weeks. We would 110% reach out to Adam again the next time we need a sitter for Macy.”
