About: I have had 3 rescue dogs and 3 rescue cats over the past 30 years. I have dealt with all ages and various medical conditions. In addition, I have continuously watched dogs for my family and friends. For several years I also volunteered for Animal Friends, walking dogs and doing cat socialization. I work a full time job, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. I have plenty of availability weekday evenings. The weekends I am available from 7am to 10pm. About: I don’t have much experience with dogs if I’m being honest. The only experience I had with a dog was with a baby pitbull and that was for about a year. That being said, despite my lack of experience I am willing to learn. My love for animals in general is why I am open to learning. I will still provide the same love, care and affection for a dog as I would a cat. My daily and weekly routine is very open for pet care. I am currently on maternity leave so I have lots of availability throughout my days. I treat them like their family and not strangers or “just for the money type of thing”. If the client has special requests as far as how they would want their pet taken care of, I would follow those requests and update the clients along the way.

About: I have been an animal lover all my life and have been around all types of animals. But dogs are my sweet spot. I have owned my own dog for the past 3 years, but have had numerous family dogs while growing up. I learned how to train my own dog by getting training lessons for her. I love caring my friend’s dogs and am often the one they ask to watch their pets when they leave town. I will give your pet all the scratches and belly rubs they desire as well take them on walks in my neighborhood as often as needed. As of now, I’m only able to do house sitting on the weekends, but I’m glad to do drop in visits and walking throughout the week. I currently work in a hybrid job setting where I am home 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week. But I am able to take breaks to take pups out for walks every 4-6 hours. I when walking other people’s dogs I am make sure they are leashes securely and comfortably. I only walk in neighborhoods that are walkable or if needed can transport in my car to a a more walkable neighborhood. I want all the dogs I care for to feel safe when out on their walks.

We were so lucky to find her when we needed someone in a pinch! Our regular dog sitter was moving that weekend, and our friend who usually dog and house sits for us was busy. Dezerae was absolutely wonderful. It was my first time away from my Kitty, Olive and was a little skiddish about having a sitter watch her. It couldn't have worked out better. Dezerae came and met Olive beforehand, and we went over everything in preparation for my departure. She was punctual and communicated with me daily about Olive and how things were going. Olive seemed to really love her. I also received daily pictures and videos from Dezerae that were very comforting to see.
