“Caralyn was absolutely amazing!! She took excellent care of our two cats while we were away. She’s a great communicator, and sent us daily updates on how the girls were doing. We really appreciated her gentle, compassionate approach with them, and know they were well taken care of! We would definitely book Caralyn again :)”
About: Hello!! My name is Abby. I am a recent Physician Assistant graduate awaiting my first job in the health care field. I have grown up with a mixture of dogs in my life, have dog sat for years and recently have gotten my own dog Odie who is a Basset Hound. I love dogs and love caring for them. Currently, I am not working so I am very flexible in my availability! I can do morning, afternoon or evening walks. I can also help with breakfast or dinner or anything else you might need for your pet! I am very accommodating and can do pretty much anything you need for your dog. I am comfortable with crating, working on tricks, going on walks and whatever else they might need.

About: Hi, I'm Miranda! I’m a dedicated animal lover with years of experience, and I'd love to care for your furry family members. I have transitioned from casual sitting to specialized care, meaning your pets are in highly capable hands. Feline Care: I have extensive experience with cats, including senior and medically complex felines who require extra patience and attention. Canine Care: I have plenty of experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. This includes taking care of pups with disabilities and unique communication needs, such as sweet deaf dogs with visual commands. Exotics & Small Pets: I am also confident caring for birds, reptiles, fish, and other pocket pets. If you are in the Bellevue area and want a kind, trustworthy, dedicated, and highly communicative sitter to look after your animals, I am here to help! Message me today to schedule a meet & greet. I look forward to meeting your cute critters soon! :) I have very free availability at the moment, as I run my own business for work and make my own hours! Pet care is actually the crux of my personal daily routine. My own cute critter, my cat Flower, keeps me quite occupied at home, whether it's feeding her on schedule, giving her lots of playtime, or just snuggling up for some brushing. Rest assured, I'll treat your furry family member as if they were my own. I would love to have an introduction meeting with you, virtual or in-person, so we can discuss your pet's needs, preferences, and schedule! Every pet is different, and it is very important that I understand your cute critter's individual personality so I can give them the quality care they deserve. During the introductory meeting, I will be sure to ask specifics about diet and medication, as well, so that no changes are made to their regular routine. I work hard to be timely and courteous by keeping pet owners updated about their cute critters while away, and will always make sure to include some pictures for you to enjoy! I make sure that I am accessible around the clock in case any questions or concerns arise while you're away.
“Elizabeth is truly amazing!!! She has looked after our babies twice now and she does not disappoint. I always know my cats are in good hands with her. Great communication and always quick with responses. Thanks Elizabeth for everything ❤️”

About: Before Rover I didn’t have much experience with dogs if I’m being honest. The only experience I had prior with a dog was a baby pitbull and that was for about a year. That being said, despite the lack of experience I had, I have gained more experience from caring for dogs on Rover. My love for animals in general is why I am open to continue learning. I will still provide the same love, care and affection for a dog as I would a cat. My daily and weekly routine is very open for pet care. I am currently on maternity leave so I have lots of availability throughout my days. I treat them like their family and not strangers or “just for the money type of thing”. If the client has special requests as far as how they would want their pet taken care of, I would follow those requests and update the clients along the way.
“Taylor is wonderful! This was the third time we’ve had her come for drop in visits with our pup, Reese, and each time we have been so happy with how well she cares for our girl. Reese loves going for walks and Taylor takes her for a long walk during each drop in. We have a very anxious pup and Taylor is so patient with her. We will always use Taylor’s services for our pup.”

“Kaitlyn is so friendly and easy to work with and our cat clearly really liked her from all of the cuddle pictures we received!! We would definitely book with her again. :)”

Kristin is an exceptional caregiver for our older timid little cat (Mia). Aside from carefully following all of our requests for feeding, maintenance, etc, Kristin takes the time to comfort Mia by talking to her and petting her if she can, which makes us feel better while we are away. She went above and beyond by doing four visits in two days, checking for mail, checking on the house for any issues, and anything we asked of her. Kristin is mature, reliable, caring, trustworthy, and very communicative. We couldn't ask for a better 'baby sitter' for Mia. We will definitely use her services again and we highly recommend Kristin....she's the best !
Vanessa was absolutely fantastic with our two kitties Oreo and Kitt Kat. Oreo immediately loved her from the first visit. Kitt was a little skittish and ran. I asked if she would work with her. Well…..that only took one day and she had Kitt Kat lovin’ on her. Vanessa went above and beyond with the kitties. Everything looks fantastic when we arrived home. I would absolutely recommend her. She’s the best. Vanessa sent lots of photos and we enjoyed the daily updates. Thank you so much for loving our babies like we do and keeping our mind at ease that they are happy and I even joked with my husband that I don’t even think they want us to come back hahaha 😂 do they even miss us lol. That’s a wonderful feeling. Don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed.

Katelyn took the time to come meet my fur babies ahead of time to make sure they took to her (spoiler: they did!). Even the shy one made peace with her. She kept me up-to-date with photos and comments all along, and spent some time playing with them every day. This was my first time using Rover, and Katelyn made an excellent first impression!

Katherine was fantastic! She’s extremely communicative when I really appreciated and loved. She was understanding that one of my cats was a little shy and might not come up to her. She offered to bring a churu as a friendship treat. She was great at providing updates and photos. I will definitely be using her again. Thank you so much!!

Caralyn is an amazing petsitter!! She is super kind and caring. She goes above and beyond to make sure that my cats are happy while I’m gone, taking lots of time to play with them and give them treats. It’s a huge relief knowing that my kitties are in good hands while I’m away!!

Letting a stranger into your home is always unnerving, and trusting them with your fur babies can be genuinely scary. When you combine the two, it can feel like a recipe for disaster. However, Cara completely put our minds at ease. She provided daily drop-in visits for our two senior boys, Ezekiel and Garoche, and our young girl, Molly. Cara was meticulous, she kept Ezekiel’s medication on a strict schedule and ensured the litter boxes were scooped daily. The highlight for us, though, were the daily photos; seeing those happy faces was the perfect reassurance while we were away. When we returned from our two-week cruise, we were greeted by happy cats rather than 'grumpy' ones who felt neglected! We knew from our initial meet-and-greet that Cara was the right choice for our little treasures. We highly recommend her and will definitely be booking her again!

Lauren is wonderful and was so good taking care of my mom’s cats. We had to rehome them as my mom can no longer care for them due to illness. While she was recovering she stayed with me and we were both so comforted knowing Louie and Leo were being taken care of. Lauren was a life saver and I would highly recommend her!
Kinsey is great with pets as well as being responsive and responsible. couldn't be happier! She followed our cats’ feeding routine perfectly, and sent fun photo updates every day which gave us total peace of mind. We came home to a happy, relaxed pet and a spotless house. We will definitely book with her again

We had such a great experience with Destiny watching our cats! She was incredibly communicative, reliable, and sent us regular updates while we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our cats and made sure they were well taken care of. We came home to happy, well-loved kitties! We would absolutely recommend Destiny and will definitely use her again in the future! ❤️

Taylor has walked Rocco for about two years while I’ve had work assignments in downtown Pittsburgh. He loves her. She always goes above and beyond and has helped us find alternate walkers if she’s away. Unfortunately we’re moving north, but would continue using her without reservation.

We were very happy having Mamie (Mary) care for our two cats! She is a great communicator, particularly when it comes to letting you know how it's going with your pets. We have a cat who is recovering from an injury and we could tell from meeting Mamie - and later from her updates - that he was in good, attentive hands! She also had to play hide-and-seek a bit to keep up with our more timid cat, but she caught onto his patterns. We're glad we were able to book her and would highly recommend!

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. - how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
