About: I have had 3 rescue dogs and 3 rescue cats over the past 30 years. I have dealt with all ages and various medical conditions. In addition, I have continuously watched dogs for my family and friends. For several years I also volunteered for Animal Friends, walking dogs and doing cat socialization. I work a full time job, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. I have plenty of availability weekday evenings. The weekends I am available from 7am to 10pm. I treat your home and your furry family members with the utmost respect and care. During my visits, I ensure your pet stays strictly on their familiar routine to minimize any stress or anxiety. I keep a watchful eye on their behavior, ensuring they don't chew on anything hazardous and stay safe while exploring the yard or going on walks. Your home's security is vital to me, so I double-check locks every time I enter or leave. About: I've cared for all kinds of animals and am happy to do dirty work that animals need to live clean. I'm a thorough, compassionate caretaker and I want to work with what your house and pets need. I work 5 days a week as a park ranger, but am looking for care opportunities in certain evenings and on weekends. I have two cats myself, which limits my boarding opportunities, but my schedule still allows for overnight stays. I have two cats myself, both are fed no-grain dry food and vitamin/oral supplements with wet food. One cat needs much play, exercise, and attention, while the other needs to be seen and talked sweetly to, and only pet while she eats. I've spent much time learning their behaviors and needs, and intend to do the same with every animal in my care. Even my snake had a way to tell me he was too cold or overhandled and wanted to be put back. I've had many guinea pigs and hamsters, and came up with creative ways to enrich them without endangering them. I've cared for many bugs, and know how and when to check their moisture levels, I do extended research on their diet needs and substrate needs, and I'll do the same for you. Animals and pets are family, though they can't tell you what they need, you can always learn and provide for them.

About: Hello! I work from home so, the dogs are under constant supervision. I will only be watching one dog at a time. I have a cat who likes to keep to herself. I presently work from home so I will be able to provide your puppers constant care. I love taking dogs on long walks around Lawrenceville! Fenced in backyard. pups will get plenty of exercise playing with me and going for walks. Letting a stranger into your home is always unnerving, and trusting them with your fur babies can be genuinely scary. When you combine the two, it can feel like a recipe for disaster. However, Cara completely put our minds at ease. She provided daily drop-in visits for our two senior boys, Ezekiel and Garoche, and our young girl, Molly. Cara was meticulous, she kept Ezekiel’s medication on a strict schedule and ensured the litter boxes were scooped daily. The highlight for us, though, were the daily photos; seeing those happy faces was the perfect reassurance while we were away. When we returned from our two-week cruise, we were greeted by happy cats rather than 'grumpy' ones who felt neglected! We knew from our initial meet-and-greet that Cara was the right choice for our little treasures. We highly recommend her and will definitely be booking her again!
We were so lucky to find her when we needed someone in a pinch! Our regular dog sitter was moving that weekend, and our friend who usually dog and house sits for us was busy. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
