About: Since birth, I grew up around all different kinds of animals. I’ve raised 3 beautiful pit bulls and lab mix while also having the opportunity to dog sit friends pets from Golden Retriever’s to Yorkies. I am currently going to school part-time so I have plenty of free time to watch over your pets! My schedule is very flexible and easy to work around. I have a fenced backyard as well as front yard. I love playing fetch with my dog while also playing tag. After tricks, she loves receiving her treats.

“Kelly is the absolute best. This was our first time on Rover, and her communications were clear and quick, and she did great work reassuring us that our pup was in good hands. Loved the photographs, and really appreciated the time she took to communicate with us by phone and by text. We’re only slightly concerned that our pup now likes her more than us! 😀 Hugely impressed with Kelly - she’ll take fab care of your pups.”

“Paula has a lot of experience and really knows how to handle things smartly, so I trust her. I’d feel totally comfortable leaving my beloved cat with her. I was lucky to find Paula on Rover, and from now on, she’ll always be the one I trust with my cat.”

“Thank you Jamie ❤️ Dahlia loves your check-ins and she looks forward to having you again soon. Thank you for being so accommodating to my/her needs and for all the petting. Every picture you sent made me happy and sure she was in really good hands. Thank you ❤️”

About: I grew up with dogs in my home, and when I became a teacher over 10 years ago, I began dog walking and pet sitting for others, too, over my summer break. I have cared for dogs with a variety of needs, including high energy puppies, animals with anxiety, and elderly animals with mobility issues. As a teacher with summers off, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend as much time with your pets as is needed. We will have plenty of time for long walks, play sessions, and belly scratches. I will ensure your pet feels comfortable and loved in your home, even when you’re away. I will stick to whatever routine you’ve already established, treating your pet and your home with just as much care as you do.

“Laura did a great job and gave me real peace of mind when I was on vacation. We had very hot weather and I appreciated her letting me know that the house temperature was cool and they had plenty of water”

About: Hi, my name is Joselyn and I’m 21 years old. I grew up with a chihuahua and a cat who brought so much joy to my life. I also cared for community cats in my old neighborhood, so animals have always been close to my heart. While my chihuahua now lives with my mom, it gives me more space to focus fully on pets I care for through Rover. I live near Branch Brook Park, a perfect spot for walks and playtime. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or keeping your pets company at your place, I’d be happy to help. For drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pet is fed, has fresh water, and gets a potty break (plus cuddles or playtime!). If you’d like a full walk for extra exercise, please book a Dog Walking service separately so I can give them the time and attention they deserve. Your pets will always be cared for with love, patience, and fun. ❤️ I work early mornings, which means I’m home and available most afternoons and evenings to spend time with your pets. Since I’m not in school right now, I have plenty of energy and flexibility to give them the care and attention they need. Your pet’s safety is always my first priority. I’m patient and gentle, and I make sure every walk is safe and every visit feels comfortable. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine from feeding schedules to any special needs so they feel at home even when you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet company, I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own.

About: I provide loving, dependable care for all kinds of pets, making sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home. I have experience with puppy training, senior pets, and anxious animals, and I always adjust my care to fit each pet’s personality and needs. Now that I’m no longer working full-time and only attending college part-time, I have wide availability for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or a relaxing walk, I treat every furry (or feathered!) friend like family—their comfort and happiness always come first. Available whenever you need me night or morning. Send me a text and I'm sure we can figure a schedule that works for everyone! Thank you ! I'm detail-oriented, carefully managing every aspect of pet care, from feeding to medication. Respectful of others' property, I ensure their home is treated with utmost care, making pet care seamless and reliable.

About: I have had dogs since I was born in 1960, my little Lab, Rocky then he was joined with our German Shepherd ,Dutch. I have always connected with dogs. Over the years there was Shepherd mix sisters, Baby, Tammy, Fared and Dutchess. In the group was also my mom's English Sheep dog named Charlie and now my daughter's little guy, Rudy. All of them were loved so much. More recent my Dachshund Bella of 12 1/2 yrs . My sweat heart crossed the Rainbow bridge July 29, 2022 at 12:35 am. She had liver issue and it broke my heart. I cared for her those last months and she was never in pain and lived five months longer then the Vet said. Bella passed with me at home in her favorite place on my sofa, I was there, right there with her. I was a mess but I am convinced 3 1/2 months later Bella sent Junior to me from a rescue as a scared 50 lb American Bully Pitty mix. He is 9 yrs old now and recently nursed him back to health from a reaction to cytopoint allergy shot May 28th 2025. I had to teach him to eat and drink and even walk again and with constant support of Vet emergency office (not the vet that gave him the shot) He is fantastic now. After his bland diet of a few weeks I started him on non-kibble food because I do not want to chance another reaction to cytopoint in January. So far he is more alert and less anxious. I am semi-retired and want to do something but not hard physical stuff of the past and desire to do what I love , care for animals and get paid for it and have no stress to really enjoy mowing and weed wack my lawn and gardening. Also , get back to studying foreign languages like Spanish, Italian and French. Don't test me, not that good yet. As I mentioned how I took care of Junior who is doing great ( doesn't get along with other dogs ) and Bella .I also wash Junior's paws after every walk to get residue off him. Do my part to push back against his allergy. I would be happy to rinse your dogs paws off after a walk. Just a damp cloth and dry. I travel with them.. just an idea for you to think about.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since childhood. I have almost a decade of dog walking and pet sitting experience. I know how important animals are to their owners and treat them as such. Currently, I am only doing pet sitting and dog walking as my full time job so I have a lot of time to take care of your pet’s needs. I babysit small animals at my home but bigger animals I go to the client’s home due to lack of space at my home for bigger animals. I also find that it helps the pet get use to me if I am in their environment .

About: A little about myself: My name is Nathalie I'm 27 years old, I have a BA from Rutgers University in Political Science and currently own a local small business in Kearny! Ive owned dogs for most of my life and couldnt imagine it any other way! Once we (my boyfriend and I) moved into a nice home with a big backyard we decided we wanted more dogs! How many more? Hard to say, but luckily with Rover we get to take care of and spend time with so many of them! We'd love to set up a Meet and Greet to show you our home & where your dog will be spending their vacation if you chose to let us watch your furry little friend! Local or out of state this is a loving and safe place for your pet to stay! We are a young couple with one dog of our own (a 2 year old Pomsky, Pomeranian and Husky mix) and a lot of space to share. We love all breeds and sizes. Barkley is a very friendly host who knows how to play well with others and enjoys sharing his toys with all his puppy friends. I can work with you if your pup has any special needs or feeding preferences. We do multiple backyard run arounds ( the backyard has a high sturdy fence and is large enough for a good game of fetch) and a minimum of 2 long walks a day. I mostly work from home so I have the time to play with the dogs until they're nice and worn out. On the days that I do go into the office I still make time to do the long night walks. If you have an older dog who prefers to relax, thats also very manageable. The dogs are allowed on the couch and all cuddles are welcome! If you have a dog that prefers to be alone, we have a spare bedroom that can be gated off with its own TV and a nice big window to sunbathe in so they can have their space while still having the door open and being able to keep an eye on whats going on with the rest of the house. Basically let me know what you need and I would be happy to do as much as I can to make your requests possible. If you have any other questions please let me know! I look forward to meeting you both.

“Skylar was taking good care of my two cats when we went for a week long trip. The communication is smooth, setting up appointments are quick. She also takes great care of my fur babies and showed a lot love. It’s very nice to see daily pictures updates. Peace of mind when traveling!”

“Jessica was fantastic with our cat Tammy, and took great care of her while we were away. Highly recommend her, and would definitely use her services again. Thank you.”

About: I know puppies are a handful and I’ve raised 4 at once! I’ve also pet sat a family dog with hypoglycemic episodes and administered oral medication. I understand feeding can be hard too. I often have to cook eggs or mix in some coconut oil to entice their appetites. I have availability all week except weekends! Unless I start another job I am fully available to support you and your fur babies for walks and home visits! I can crate your dog if needed and whatever specific needs you have just let me know! Also for dog walks I can put on jackets or other articles of clothing so they won’t be so cold.

Junior is great on leash and a much calmer dog now living with Scott. Scott is familiar with all breeds of dog, big and small. He’s very attentive and caring with our Pekingese. Scott spends extra time with our dog whenever he walks him, just to ensure he is comfortable and cared for. I have known Scott for almost 12 years and would trust him with any dog.
