About: I took a break from Rover for a few years after having my 2nd child and pursuing graduate school…now I’m back and ready to continue sharing my love with your pets! I’ve always grown up surrounded by pets, with a family that has a strong love for animals (and a bias toward loving Rottweilers). My family, friends, and neighbors have always relied on me for their pet-sitting needs. I have walked, cuddled, bathed, medicated, and trained dogs of all ages and sizes for the better half of my life, and I would be honored to do the same for your pup. Is it your first time booking? Let me know so I can give you a promo code for $20 off your first service! I am a full time therapist, mom of two, and animal lover. I am only unavailable on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday due to a heavy work schedule on those days. My beloved Rottweiler passed away in March after a long and happy life rolling in the grass, splashing in his doggy pool, running circles in our fenced yard, playing with his human brothers, and going on car rides. Whatever works best for your dog and makes them happiest, is what works best for me. I am familiar with crate training, positive reinforcements, and delay of gratification strategies and I’m ready and willing to implement whatever routine necessary to accommodate your pup.
“Kelli and Torrie were amazing pet sitters in my home! Beyond their sweet and adorable personalities, they took outstanding care of our fur babies! They were responsive and so easy to communicate with during the whole booking process. Max and Sophie looked so happy in all of the pictures they sent us every day, I thought they wouldn’t want us to come back home! We will definitely call them again!”

About: My husband and I have fostered and adopted very many dogs throughout our lifetime, mostly senior dogs. We are very experienced in giving medications and special care if needed. We provide a good routine with frequent potty breaks, and will make sure to stick to your pup's feeding schedules that they have at home. Lastly, I will send plenty of photos throughout your dog's stay! Now that we are retired and have 2 dogs of our own, we've decided to open our home and hearts to care for other dogs. We have two Yorkshire Terriers named Tino and Monkey who are very friendly and welcoming. As with all dogs we have brought into our home, we will slowly and safely introduce them to your furry friend. We provide a very relaxing environment, but also have a large fenced-in yard where they will have plenty of time and room to play! Our main goal is to make your baby feel loved and completely at home!
“Linda is patient and kind. Our fur babies love when she visits with them. She brings them treats and toys and showers them with love and gifts. I never have to worry about them when I travel. Thank you Linda!!”

“We just moved to FL and were so nervous about leaving our pups for the first time with someone new. We have two seniors so that always adds another element of worry. Turns out I had nothing to worry about after all. We felt totally comfortable leaving our babies and they seemed to have a fun day!! I loved our updates throughout the day! Thank you so so much!”

“Daphne was absolutely wonderful with my dogs. She was attentive, communicative, and kept me in the loop the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. She also handled last-minute emergencies with so much care and calmness. I’m so grateful for her and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

““Highly recommend! She took amazing care of my pets while I was away. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. Very reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals.””

“This is the second time I've had Daniella. Milo was so excited to see her, he kept running around in a circle because he couldn't contain himself. He jumped right in her lap; he definitely remembered her. When I left, he hardly noticed at all! She just called him to her and he snuggled right in. She followed my directions and my schedule for him. But the best part was the cuddling. That is why I wanted her back. She is firm with him about the things we've talked about, but she makes sure he gets the loving I want when I'm not there.”

About: I grew up around dogs. My neighbors and family rely on me to watch and take care of their dogs when they are away. I love to cuddle with puppies I work part time as a dog bather currently but i am usually available most of the time as long as you let me know ahead of time. i have three cats and a dog that are friendly and will keep your fur baby company. My cats love to play and make new friends.
“Alyssa was amazing, she took excellent care of our 3 dogs while we were in Italy. Will rebook with her again in future and would recommend to friends/family. Thank you Alyssa!”

“As always, Makenna was just wonderful with Harry. His anxiety at having us gone is practically non-existent when she stays with him. So grateful to have her to care for Harry when we can’t be there.”

About: I have a heart for animals. We travel so I never wanted to get a dog, but I would love to spend time with yours! https://www.rover.com/sit/tonim13904 I am looking for a new career that I would love. Flexible schedule! Available weekends and most holidays! I won't just check in/walk your animal. I will make sure they get attention and feel loved 🥰 I will respect the owners rules when it comes to treats (or anything else). I grew up with the "leave things better than you found them" mentality.
About: I've cared for dogs and cats for families for several years, including overnight stays and in-home care. I've also grown up around both dogs and cats, so I'm comfortable with different personalities, routines, and energy levels. I'm comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, medications, and following detailed care instructions. I know being away from your pet can be stressful, so I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible and make sure they get plenty of attention and affection. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and being well cared for while you're away. 🗓️ AVAILABILITY: Mon–Thurs after 5 PM • Fri–Sun open availability I’m available for evening care Monday–Thursday and have flexible/all-day availability Friday–Sunday! 🐾 I’m currently working full time at a podiatry office as a medical assistant so my weekends and evenings are usually free and I have plenty of time to care for other pets. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine and personality. In a client’s home, I keep their normal schedule as closely as possible, including meals, walks, playtime, medications, and plenty of attention. For overnight stays, I make sure pets have company and feel comfortable in their own home while their family is away. I’m also respectful of the home and keep everything clean and tidy. Most importantly, I want each pet to feel safe, loved, and well cared for.
“Sarah is awesome! She was great at communicating, providing daily updates and pics of our pups. I could tell from the pics that the dogs took a quick liking to her and when we got home they were happy and relaxed. Couldn’t ask for anything more! She’ll definitely be our go-to dog sitter from now on!”

About: I’ve always had animals growing up… dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, bunnies. It wasn’t until I got my baby Yogi my 6 year old frenchie as an adult that I really learned responsibility and unconditional love. We enjoy getting ice cream together… and SHORT walks but he loves going on longer strolls with his wagon. He recently got a baby brother Benji the schnauzer who keeps him on his toes but he loves the company. I work full time alternating one week until 4p and the following until 6:30p. I’m mostly available weekends. But can make time for evening walks/care. I have a fenced yard with ample space and two friendly and playful dogs. I also have a fenced in porch that Benji and Yogi love to sit out and neighbor watch.

“April was great! Came at a very crucial time we needed her and our pups took to her right away. She was kind and thorough when it came to what their schedules were like. I appreciated the photos and video she sent over. Would definitely book with her again.”

When I say Samantha is great that is not even close. She kept our boy Duke safe and sound. She took pictures throughout the day to let us see him. Also, sent updates that made us so glad he had someone there who cared about him. Thank you so much!! We definitely use Sam again and recommend anyone to her.

Tori is an amazing pet sitter! She cared for my two large, energetic dogs for 4 days in my home. She kept me informed with photos and notes so I could relax, knowing my dogs were happy and safe. Tori reached out to clarify instructions to ensure the dogs' safety. The dogs absolutely love her! She is The Best!!

Lyan watched our little dachshunds for us and did a wonderful job caring for them. She sends updates and photos daily that keeps us up to date on how they are doing and providing us with reassurance. Took great care of our home and managed our dogs medications while we were away. Will book with her again!

Kenny was amazing. He took great care of our two high-energy dogs and our home while we were away for nearly a week. Our dogs loved him, and we felt completely at ease the whole time. He sent pics and videos to keep us updated- the dogs clearly had a lot of fun. We’ll definitely book him again and will be recommending him to friends and family.

Wonderful experience. We have a classic shepherd who only really loves her parents (we tried so much socializing, but genes are genes). Christina handled the timid 70 lbs baby with such grace that within a few hours, they were best friends! You can tell she loves what she does and have experience. Even our more aloof cat was cuddling with her by the middle of her stay. If you have pets that dont get watched often, she's definitely your girl!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 3,366 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bayonet Point. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bayonet Point walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bayonet Point maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bayonet Point choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
