About: I've pet and house sat for cats and dogs of many breeds and sizes. Mostly for family and friends and I treat them like the beloved family members they are! Many times they have multiple dogs and or cats which is fine by me, love them all. I have been the lucky pet mama of many dogs, a few cats, birds, guinea pig and hamsters. They all were very dear to me and my family. Right now I'm retired and unfortunately my sweet old beagle-mix girl Leela, past away this past fall. I miss her dearly and the routine of walking her in her stroller because in her last year she lost mobility in her hind legs. I know I will eventually adopt another, but right now just enjoying her sweet memories 😊 ♥️ A typical day would start with outside time to do their business and get some exercise, followed by their breakfast and meds/ supplements if so needed. Then we relax a bit until afternoon walking, weather permitting, and playtime. Then relax until dinner and another walk/some playtime before retiring for the night. This of course varies with the pet's routines and needs each day. This is basically what we did with our dogs, and the cats were indoor/outdoor.
“Our fur baby Sophia was so spoiled while we were gone. We came home to a clean home and a clean and happy dog. She was very well taken care of. Linda was very communicative with pictures and texts every day. It made us enjoy our trip much more knowing that our fur baby was being spoiled. She really is great with animals. I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Kelli is beyond Amazing she made all of our pets happy and loved and that is quite a feat but when she left the dogs were really sad we cannot thank her enough and will have her back thanks again Kelli you're awesome”

About: I grew up with family pets around, making me comfortable around all kinds of animals. I began to experience a deep passion for animals and pets, so much so that I got a seasonal job at a pet boarding facility called Pet Paradise. There I was around different dogs and cats all day. Since then, I have been volunteering at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, walking dogs and hanging out with the cats. I even participated in the Doggie Day Out program at the shelter! I’m pretty much open any day or time! I currently am unemployed and not in school, so I can work on the fly! Very flexible schedule, ready to work for your fur babies! I currently have a dog in the household that can not be around other dogs, but I am more than happy to treat your animal in your own home! I help take care of the dog here by walking and feeding him, I also do the same for the two cats we own!
“Another wonderful sitting with our cat Hope and Janicia! Hope is a very needy cat, that craves company and gets stressed without human interaction. I appreciate that Janicia was able to stay with her for two weeks during the December holidays. We came home to stressed free cat!”

“Carly truly went above and beyond for our animals. She made sure to send updates and pictures throughout the entire stay. Would highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies.”

“Christina was great! She took great care of our captain which for most people is difficult. Captain is a very scared shy dog from being a rescue and he was able to open up to Christina :-) I would definitely recommend her.”

About: Hello! Ive had a love for ALL animals my entire life. I didnt have my first dog until 7 years ago and she is now my entire world! I strive to make every animal I watch feel as loved as my own dogs! I started working in veterinary medicine 3 years ago as just a receptionist and moved up to an assistant and now a technician. During this time I have been doing dog sitting as well. I started overnight dog sitting as well as drop in visits about a year ago and I absolutely love it. Every animal I have watched I treated like they were my own and I love every single one of them. My idea of a perfect day is being surrounded by animals! Working in Vet medicine has taught me many skills that are required to take care of all different types of animals and has prepared me for any situation that comes my way. With these skills, I hope it gives all fur baby moms and dad's a peace of mind while theyre away from their babies! I have 2 dogs and 3 cats that I care for daily as well as take care of any animal that works through the door at the clinic. I love taking care of animals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! My services offer pets to remain in their own home where they feel most comfortable. My goal is to make them feel as happy and safe as possible while their owners are away. While watching your babies I make sure that they get exercise, play time, any medications needed and make their day/night as fun and rewarding as possible!
About: Trusted local business owner, local home owner and a true lover of animals (it’s why I’m doing this). I’m not someone just doing this to get out of their environment- I’m doing it because I love animals and want to make long term friends whom can trust me with their animals when they need it. My dad has Alzheimer’s and lives out of state and I know how helpful it was when I found a trusted pet sitter for my home when I had to fly to tend to his care. The peace of mind of knowing you have someone well established in your home whom has many reviews and who sends photos daily to show your pet is doing great is a major help to the anxiety of being away from your pets. I decided one day I got far enough in life that my side jobs should be something I actually enjoy doing and it’s a major reason why I’m on rover as well, to spend time doing something I enjoy and help others feel that safety net with their pets when they are away. Whether I house sit or watch your pet from my home they’ll be my priority. My service isn’t treating your pet like a business like many sitters. I give them the time I’d give a new foster cat or dog Ive adopted. I work from home so they will have me here always. I have a deep love for all creatures, big and small, and my experience goes beyond just "liking" pets: • Shelter-Tested: I’ve spent significant time volunteering for local shelters, which taught me how to handle different temperaments, follow strict feeding schedules, and give some extra TLC to pets who might be feeling a little shy or anxious. • Flexible Setup: Whether your fur baby is more comfortable in their own environment or wants to come hang out at my home, I’m happy to accommodate what makes them feel safest. • The "Paparazzi" Treatment: I know how much you miss them when you're away! I’m big on sending photo and video updates so you can see exactly how much fun (or napping) we’re having. A Typical Day With Me Whether I’m watching a high-energy pup who needs three walks a day or a senior cat who just wants a warm lap to snooze on, I tailor my care to their personality. Your pet's routine is my top priority—I want them to feel like they’re on a "staycation" rather than just waiting for you to get back. I’m responsible, communicative, and—most importantly—genuinely excited to meet your furry family members. I can't wait to hear from you! You should want the very best for your pets and home - I’ll provide it. My pricing is adequate for me to actually make your pet the only priority for that duration - I won’t be juggling other activities or people during that time like many other sitters do. I will have one focus only- the tasks you’ve given me the privilege to take on. Everyday I take care of my best friend (my cat) so adding more to the routine is not an issue: I wake up and attend his needs and spend time with him all day. Wouldn’t have it different! I run a business that I can make my own hours and schedule - so it works very well for assisting people with their animal friends tasks. No one comes here besides myself. My doors are all locked and the house is very safe and secure for animals. I have not just one but two security systems with 8 cameras. They have a good amount of space to run around with no chance of getting outside. The backyard is fully fenced - I just spent $2500 replacing the fence as well to make it fully secure and safe. I don’t have anyone else with access to my property but me.

Jasmine Estates pet parents share their Rover experiences
Mariah was amazing, and my dog was great with her, too. When I left and returned, the house was spotless, as if no one had been there. She washed the sheets and towels she used and put them back on the bed. I can't say enough about her. The communication was great. I will use her every time I go away!

Wonderful experience. We have a classic shepherd who only really loves her parents (we tried so much socializing, but genes are genes). Christina handled the timid 70 lbs baby with such grace that within a few hours, they were best friends! You can tell she loves what she does and have experience. Even our more aloof cat was cuddling with her by the middle of her stay. If you have pets that dont get watched often, she's definitely your girl!
