Our fur baby Sophia was so spoiled while we were gone. We came home to a clean home and a clean and happy dog. She was very well taken care of. Linda was very communicative with pictures and texts every day. It made us enjoy our trip much more knowing that our fur baby was being spoiled. She really is great with animals. I will definitely be booking her again.

We had a wonderful experience with Karin! She was incredibly attentive, caring, and communicative throughout the entire stay. She kept us updated with photos and let us know right away if anything seemed unusual with our dogs, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was very transparent, flexible, and genuinely treated our dogs as if they were her own. It was clear that she truly cared about their comfort, happiness, and well being. Our dogs were well cared for, and we could tell they received plenty of attention and love. We will be using her in the future and trust her with our dogs again. highly recommend Karin to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and responsible pet sitter!

Harry did wonderfully with Makenna! She sent photos of him during their time together, which put my heart at ease. Also, while he was happy to see us, he was calm upon our arrival so I know having her with him eased his separation anxiety.

Wow amazing! Amazing communication and even came by for a meet and greet with such short notice. One of our pups had some tummy troubles and she kept us updated the entire time and even made a vet visit on our behalf. The whole process she made a breeze. We will for sure be using again. She loves dogs.. it radiates off her!! Our boys seemed so so happy and we felt comfortable having her stay in our home.

About: Trusted local business owner, local home owner and a true lover of animals (it’s why I’m doing this). I’m not someone just doing this to get out of their environment- I’m doing it because I love animals and want to make long term friends whom can trust me with their animals when they need it. My dad has Alzheimer’s and lives out of state and I know how helpful it was when I found a trusted pet sitter for my home when I had to fly to tend to his care. The peace of mind of knowing you have someone well established in your home whom has many reviews and who sends photos daily to show your pet is doing great is a major help to the anxiety of being away from your pets. I want to provide that safe feeling for people like I needed when I was away. Whether I house sit or watch your pet from my home they’ll be my priority. I don’t take on multiple jobs at once, or multiple animals. This means your Pet is my only focus as well have increased safety not being around other pets (minus my friendly cat). My service isn’t treating your pet like a business like many sitters. I give them the time I’d give a new foster cat or dog Ive adopted. I work from home so they will have me here always. I have a deep love for all creatures, big and small, and my experience goes beyond just "liking" pets: • Shelter-Tested: I’ve spent significant time volunteering for local shelters, which taught me how to handle different temperaments, follow strict feeding schedules, and give some extra TLC to pets who might be feeling a little shy or anxious. • Flexible Setup: Whether your fur baby is more comfortable in their own environment or wants to come hang out at my home, I’m happy to accommodate what makes them feel safest. • The "Paparazzi" Treatment: I know how much you miss them when you're away! I’m big on sending photo and video updates so you can see exactly how much fun (or napping) we’re having. A Typical Day With Me Whether I’m watching a high-energy pup who needs three walks a day or a senior cat who just wants a warm lap to snooze on, I tailor my care to their personality. Your pet's routine is my top priority—I want them to feel like they’re on a "staycation" rather than just waiting for you to get back. I’m responsible, communicative, and—most importantly—genuinely excited to meet your furry family members. You should want the very best for your pets and home - I’ll provide it. My pricing is adequate for me to actually make your pet the only priority for that. I intentionally limit the number of bookings I take so that your pet and your home receive my absolute, undivided attention. Unlike standard sitting services, I do not juggle multiple clients or outside distractions during our time together. Your pet becomes my sole priority, ensuring their routine is followed perfectly in a stress-free environment. When you book with me, you are investing in total peace of mind, premium communication, and a dedicated companion who treats your pet like family. Everyday I take care of my best friend (my cat) so adding more to the routine is not an issue: I wake up and attend his needs and spend time with him all day. Wouldn’t have it different! I run a business that I can make my own hours and schedule - so it works very well for assisting people with their animal friends tasks. No one comes here besides myself. My doors are all locked and the house is very safe and secure for animals. I have not just one but two security systems with 8 cameras. They have a good amount of space to run around with no chance of getting outside. The backyard is fully fenced - I just spent $2500 replacing the fence as well to make it fully secure and safe. I don’t have anyone else with access to my property but me.

About: I’ve taken care of pets ranging from young adult to senior age. I rescued a feral kitty with major injuries, worked with Tampa Bay Humane Society to take care of her health concerns, and officially adopted her in 2024. I have experience with caring for pets with seizures, needing diaper changes, having specific dietary needs, and more. I’m available any time, currently I have a lot of free time so I’m able to give your pets the attention they need even on short notice. I have a cat in one hole and multiple dogs in another and I give them whatever they need to be happy with me, in my clients home I do exactly as is needed

Makenna was great with my girls while I was on vacation. She provided daily updates and most importantly, my senior dog that has extreme anxiety, was calm and happy when we got home…something that’s rare! My home was clean, she followed the instructions for home and pet care (medication for my senior) and left my home as I had left it. Makenna was flexible as to times and offered to help should we have run into any issues getting back home. Highly recommend Makenna!

Mariah was amazing, and my dog was great with her, too. When I left and returned, the house was spotless, as if no one had been there. She washed the sheets and towels she used and put them back on the bed. I can't say enough about her. The communication was great. I will use her every time I go away!

Wonderful experience. We have a classic shepherd who only really loves her parents (we tried so much socializing, but genes are genes). Christina handled the timid 70 lbs baby with such grace that within a few hours, they were best friends! You can tell she loves what she does and have experience. Even our more aloof cat was cuddling with her by the middle of her stay. If you have pets that dont get watched often, she's definitely your girl!

FAQs for House Sitting - Jasmine Estates

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Jasmine Estates on Rover is $38.85 per night (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 3,508 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Jasmine Estates. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Jasmine Estates walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Jasmine Estates maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Jasmine Estates choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jasmine Estates. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
