He sent me videos pictures text messages and I felt comfortable the entire time I was away from her. she’s almost 6 months and still a baby. “Joanna did an awesome job making us feel comfortable with leaving our pup with her. He is an older dog that still acts like he is in his prime, but from the first meet and greet I could tell that this was not her first time handling big dogs. We have used Rover a few times but this is by far the most comfortable we have felt. We will definitely book Joanna in the future!”

Not often does a pet not want to leave their sitter but that’s the case every time Jimi stays with them which shows us how happy he is being there. Great communication, frequent updates with photos and they keep our boy happy. Thank you!”

About: Being a dog mom for over 10 years and a cat mom for 3 years, now being a mom to my own babies and staying home full time with the ability to open my home or help others with their fur babies is my favorite hobby. I have a beautiful golden retriever that I’ve had since she was 6 weeks so I’ve been able to be with her and learn all stages of dogs. I have a large, fenced in backyard so plenty of space to play or sun bathe for the pups. I’m currently a stay at home mom to a newborn so I now have extra time for this hobby. I love dogs and sitting them is my fun way of interacting and enjoying a new pup without getting another one of my own. Dogs have always been members of the family to me. Spending quality time with them by going on long walks with plenty time to sniff and stimulate their brains, cuddling on the couch watching movies or playing with their favorite toy.
“Anne was great with our newly acquired 5-yr old shelter dog, Toby. We are still working on potty training and good behavior with him so he wasn't an easy guest. We're implementing some helpful suggestions Anne offered and anticipate that Toby will be a better guest the next time around!”

“Celeste was amazing! She took care of my dogs like they were her own. She made sure to send me photos and keep me updated along the way. I’ll definitely be rebooking with her in the future!”

“Katherine and Chris were so accommodating to take Nino in after a last minute cancellation. The photos made me feel relieved that he was enjoying his stay. Thanks again”

“Clary was AMAZING. I had to find a place for our dog over Christmas break last minute. She made our dog feel so welcomed and sent photos and videos every day. Our dog looked so happy. Thank you, Clary!”

“We are very happy to have found a great professional to take care of our puppies Milo and Lilly. Carlos attended to us at an unexpected time when we needed to take a family trip. He answered us promptly, very patient with our baby Milo who cried at night and always keeping us informed of everything that was going on with them. We will certainly use his services again when necessary. And we recommend his services for sure. Thank you very much Carlos for the excellent and dedicated work! We will see each other for sure !!”

“I think Rada is a cat whisperer! My George is not usually a sweet boy but Rada tamed him no problem. I hope she will be available next time I need a sitter. She actually spent time with him and I really appreciate that.”

“Nelson and Donna were amazing! They watched my very shy cat and were still so kind and gave him all the attention. They even swept my apartment for me! I couldn’t recommend them enough.”

About: Animals have been my great passion since childhood. I provide care filled with patience, pure love, and a deep respect for the essence of every dog, cat, or ferret, making them always feel at home.

“Victoria did an amazing job and took care of all of our fur babies and even cuddled with them. Thank you Victoria we appreciate you and look forward to our next trip and you taking care of our fur babies”

“Kelli went above and beyond to make sure our anxious kitties were taken care of and relaxed during our trip. She’s very personable and considerate. She sent lots of updates and followed all instructions. Even our scaredy cat loved her right away. Our cats and our apartment were in great condition when we returned. We would definitely use her again!”

“Absolutely wonderful pet sitter! She is caring, and attentive, and I felt completely comfortable knowing my cats was in such good hands. She kept me updated and treated my cats with so much love and care. I would definitely recommend her. Thank you, Lisa!”

“Fantastic sitter! I had to leave my kitties home for the holiday weekend, and Andrea came to my rescue! She conducted morning and evening check ins on my kitties. She went above and beyond in ensuring my kitties were well taken care of. In addition to the responsibilities I’ve outlined (which she conducted very well), she has the perspective of a pet owner herself, so she’d text me during visits if I would also like her to trim nails, sweep the area around the litter box, etc. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your furbabies as her own, look no further than Andrea!”

“House was exactly how I left it minus the cat obviously being fed and cleaned up regularly. Very polite and nice people. They not only helped me twice with packages even coming over once earlier than the recorded time just to get a package, but she knew my budget was stretched thin already and came an extra day not booked just to help out. This couple is who you want to hire if you need trustworthy people watching your animals.”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was younger. We've had quite a few different types of animals from bunnies and hamsters to cats and dogs. It fits easily into my routine because I'm home all the time. I don't go anywhere really and I have plenty of free time to spare. I have a fenced in back yard, I have a big house with plenty of room for them, and I have a few other animals that are friendly.
“We were in the area for four days as a surprise Christmas trip for our kids. Our two dogs travel everywhere with us, but the state parks & beaches we were trying to visit were not dog friendly. We found Laura on Rover, & she was PERFECT! She responded quickly, accommodated our four day need (even with a holiday!), & provided our two dogs with a fun, safe place to be each day while we adventured with the kids. Our two, Milo & Sandy, both excitedly ran to play with Laura each day, & we received photos of them enjoying outdoor & indoor time. We are so grateful to have found Laura!”

About: Hey y’all! I'm currently waiting to take my boards to become an Athletic Trainer. My partner is a nurse. We have 4 dogs and 2 cats all living in harmony. We live in a house with a fenced yard. I work Monday-Friday, but my partner will be home more often than me. We can guarantee to you your fur baby will never be left alone. Before moving to Florida, I lived in Clemson, South Carolina, where I worked for a dog boarding and day-care called Foolish Heart Farms in Seneca, South Carolina. Our schedules are flexible, just shoot us a message. My partner and I would love to help out with your fur babies! I have a very flexible schedule. I am available for you and your fur babies on weekends and weekdays. They will be 100% spoiled under my care. I can fulfill services from your home, such as walking your fur baby in your neighborhood or drop-in visits. I do offer boarding away from home if that’s what you’re looking for.
About: Trusted local business owner, local home owner and a true lover of animals (it’s why I’m doing this). I’m not someone just doing this to get out of their environment- I’m doing it because I love animals and want to make long term friends whom can trust me with their animals when they need it. The peace of mind of knowing you have someone well established in your home whom has many reviews and who sends photos daily to show your pet is doing great is a major help to the anxiety of being away from your pets. I want to provide that safe feeling for people like I needed when I was away. Whether I house sit or watch your pet from my home they’ll be my priority. I don’t take on multiple jobs at once, or multiple animals. This means your Pet is my only focus as well have increased safety not being around other pets (minus my friendly cat). My service isn’t treating your pet like a business like many sitters. I give them the time I’d give a new foster cat or dog Ive adopted. I work from home so they will have me here always. I have a deep love for all creatures, big and small, and my experience goes beyond just "liking" pets: • Shelter-Tested: I’ve spent significant time volunteering for local shelters, which taught me how to handle different temperaments, follow strict feeding schedules, and give some extra TLC to pets who might be feeling a little shy or anxious. • Flexible Setup: Whether your fur baby is more comfortable in their own environment or wants to come hang out at my home, I’m happy to accommodate what makes them feel safest. • The "Paparazzi" Treatment: I know how much you miss them when you're away! I’m big on sending photo and video updates so you can see exactly how much fun (or napping) we’re having. A Typical Day With Me Whether I’m watching a high-energy pup who needs three walks a day or a senior cat who just wants a warm lap to snooze on, I tailor my care to their personality. Your pet's routine is my top priority—I want them to feel like they’re on a "staycation" rather than just waiting for you to get back. I’m responsible, communicative, and—most importantly—genuinely excited to meet your furry family members. You should want the very best for your pets and home - I’ll provide it. My pricing is adequate for me to actually make your pet the only priority for that. I intentionally limit the number of bookings I take so that your pet and your home receive my absolute, undivided attention. Unlike standard sitting services, I do not juggle multiple clients or outside distractions during our time together. Your pet becomes my sole priority, ensuring their routine is followed perfectly in a stress-free environment. When you book with me, you are investing in total peace of mind, premium communication, and a dedicated companion who treats your pet like family. Everyday I take care of my best friend (my cat) so adding more to the routine is not an issue: I wake up and attend his needs and spend time with him all day. Wouldn’t have it different! I run a business that I can make my own hours and schedule - so it works very well for assisting people with their animal friends tasks. No one comes here besides myself. My doors are all locked and the house is very safe and secure for animals. I have not just one but two security systems with 8 cameras. They have a good amount of space to run around with no chance of getting outside. The backyard is fully fenced - I just spent $2500 replacing the fence as well to make it fully secure and safe. I don’t have anyone else with access to my property but me.
About: Let me play with your fur babies! I would love the opportunity to love on them. Throuought my life, I have had the joy of caring for 2 kitties and 3 doggies that have since crossed the rainbow bridge. As for experience, I have hand-fed newborn kittens, cared for new puppies, cats and dogs in their senior days, and everything in between. Every pet has their own personality, quirks, and needs, so I will be sensitive to those needs and I assure you that your fur baby will have tons of cuddles and play time! Every morning begins with tail wags, squeaker toys, and kitty head boops! Your babies will be at home in their natural environment and I can accommodate their usual routine! I do not have a day job, so our time together will be quality bonding time with lots of love and attention! If there are any tiny bladders or senior pups needing frequent pottys, they can go out as often as they need! I will care for your babies how YOU care for them and then try to go above and beyond to compensate for the fact that I am not actually their mama. They need to have the easiest transition to a new environment as possible so I don't want to fluctuate much from what they would expect at home. Just let me know all of their favorite things and activities, and the beebees will be happy!
About: I have had pets almost my entire life from dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters. I have not had reptiles of my own but like them too. Animals are a life commitment and I have seen many throughout their entire life including senior and end of life care. I genuinely love animals. They are part of our family. Yours will be cared for as if they are a member of my family. Currently, Maverick, a black lab is my soulmate. He is well-trained, intelligent, full of joy and great with other dogs. His favorite pastime is playing ball or just running around the yard with a ball in his mouth. He enjoys going for rides and adventures such as going to the park or beach. He loves to swim and play in the water. I am retired and available anytime, night or day. I am also on call for emergency situations as well, allowing same day bookings. I truly understand the importance of taking care of our special family members and there are times when circumstances are beyond our control. I am not available for boarding or house sitting because I have Maverick. If you are looking for boarding or overnight care, please consider scheduling multiple drop-in visits for times that fit their routine or we can discuss other alternatives to ensure your babies needs are met. My home is obviously dog friendly and the yard is secure. Maverick is mostly indoors due to the heat. Car rides, adventures, walks, indoor a s outdoor playtime, along with water activities are incorporated. Maverick is not a cuddle bug but he does like to relax with me on the couch.

“I just started w/Katie and Patrick. Ginger was there a couple days last week. The best decision I made for Ginger. Katie & Patrick are a perfect fit. I'm so grateful for their constant communication, pics and videos to make me feel comfortable w/Ginger's first time out. She can either be a scared doggie or a bully and she is neither there. She was running with the big dogs last week and so happy. They have the experience, skill and property that supports what you need and let's your dog, be a dog! I've booked more booking and boarding with them, when we go out of town in February. THANK YOU KATIE & PATRICK!”

“This is the 3rd time I have left Suki with Mai. She has a great time playing with Fogi and is always extremely tuckered out when I pick her up. Mai is great and shows a lot of affection to Suki and I will continue to use Mai every chance I get in the future. Highly recommended!”

I also have a deep heart for dogs with sensory challenges; having cared for both blind and deaf pups, I know how to use touch, vibration, and clear hand signals to ensure they feel safe and secure. My goal is always to provide the same empathetic, intuitive care you do, so your best friend feels cherished and understood every moment you’re away. Since I work remotely and have the complete flexibility to choose my own schedule, pet care isn't just a task—it’s a seamless part of my daily life. Because I am not tied to a traditional office, I have the unique ability to provide "replacement parent" care, offering your pet the consistent companionship and attention they are used to having from you. My routine is built around being present. I have the flexibility to stay in your home, ensuring your pet’s environment remains stable and stress-free while you are away. Whether it’s keeping up with a high-energy exercise routine for an active pup, managing a strict medication schedule for a senior, or simply providing a warm lap to curl up on during my work hours, I am able to prioritize your pet's needs at any time of day. You won't have to worry about long stretches of solitude; I’m there to provide the snacks, the walks, and the specialized care exactly when they need it. When I stay in your home, my priority is providing a seamless "replacement parent" experience so your pets never feel a gap in their routine. My remote work lifestyle allows me to provide true companionship, ensuring your pets aren't left alone for long stretches. Because of my professional background, I take the security of your home very seriously. You can travel with total peace of mind knowing that: Continuous Presence: I am there throughout the day, which is a natural deterrent and keeps your home looking "lived-in." Professional Responsibility: I am exceptionally detail-oriented and respectful of your space, following all house rules and security protocols to the letter. Specialized Medical Care: I am fully comfortable staying overnight with seniors or pets with chronic conditions (like diabetes or sensory impairments) who require late-night or early-morning monitoring. Home Tidiness: I maintain a clean, quiet environment and ensure mail is collected, plants are watered, and everything is exactly as you left it. I also have experience in the water mitigation field, so should any issue arise with an appliance or anything in your home, I know how to respond quickly and mitigate further issues.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cared for my grandma’s pets, making sure they’re happy, fed, and loved. I treat every dog like family always. I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of time to give pups attention, playtime, and care. Boarding works best for me on weekends after 2pm, but I’m happy to help on weekdays if needed — we can always work something out. For dog walking, I’m available most weekdays and flexible with scheduling to fit your pet’s routine. I have a fenced-in yard with plenty of space and grass for safe outdoor play. I can provide cat food, but I’ll need owners to bring any dog food and a crate if their pup uses one. I’m happy to help with basic dog grooming like brushing and bathing — I just don’t trim nails. Your pet will always be cared for and comfortable while they’re with me!

“Nancy is our first Rover pet care specialist and she did not disappoint. Outstanding communication, well organized, very personable. We are in the area for a few days as part of an Airstream caravan and had a long bus day into the city, leaving our Shiba alone for nearly 11 hours. Nancy proposed a meet and greet on short notice and also handled a reschedule (we decided to have her come by and walk Chewie twice versus once). Nancy understood the quirkiness of actually getting into our trailer as well as some of our hints to get Chewie to be interested in walking with her. Chewie, a guarded nine year old Shiba Inu who is basically our fourth child, took to Nancy like she was part of the family. We very much enjoyed the reports today of her interactions with Chewie as well the plethora of photos that captured Chewie better than we’ve been able to. I cannot say enough good things about Nancy. I wish her the best and anyone who is looking for someone through Rover to walk or check up on their pet can rest assured their pet or pets will be in the best of hands with Nancy.”

“Carly is very thorough and makes sure she knows everything about the care of your pups! She was excellent with communication and truly cared about my pups! Highly recommend!!”

About: I have cared for my friends and families dogs for many years. Either out of town or busy work schedules. I assist with all needs. I work part time with children so my availability is open to helping others in need. If I’m not at work I am home so I am available to travel as well. I love to go on walks and get out in the fresh air. Car rides or dog parks (if applicable). I do have cats but they are extremely friendly.

About: I have over the course of my time in high school have walked and trained large animals like farm animals and now I walk and care for my Girlfriends dog and neighbors dogs all the time and go on constant walks with them to keep them exercised. It would be my main importance of the day and the chore on the top of my list. I always want to put those things first over the other things. I care for animals by giving them lots of love and attention maybe even spoil them a little to much but overall I care for them the way I would want to be treated and make them feel special.

“Chris C kept my kitten for four days and three nights. This was her first time being away from me for more than eight hours. He was absolutely awesome. He sent me videos pictures text messages and I felt comfortable the entire time I was away from her. she’s almost 6 months and still a baby. He treated her like she was his own and so did his awesome cat Stasche I would definitely recommend him and I will also rebook with him whenever Skye needs a sitter really nice guy and his home was perfect for my baby to enjoy herself”

“Janel & Jeffrey love and care for our dog, Argo, as if he was their own! They send us daily pics and videos of him to see what he’s up to. They walk, play and relax daily making him feel at home! He loves seeing Janel & Jeffrey!”

“Lindsay and her family have once again taken incredible care of our Jimi. Not often does a pet not want to leave their sitter but that’s the case every time Jimi stays with them which shows us how happy he is being there. Great communication, frequent updates with photos and they keep our boy happy. Thank you!”

“Celeste was amazing! She took care of my dogs like they were her own. She made sure to send me photos and keep me updated along the way. I’ll definitely be rebooking with her in the future!”

“Clary was AMAZING. I had to find a place for our dog over Christmas break last minute. She made our dog feel so welcomed and sent photos and videos every day. Our dog looked so happy. Thank you, Clary!”

“Stephanie’s the best! My dog Oki is old and he hasn’t been with anyone else but me. He had a little bit of separation anxiety and Stephanie made him feel loved and cared for. She was patient with him and Oki finally felt safe in someone else’s care. We definitely would go back to her in a heartbeat.”

“Very friendly and took great care of my puppy! They sent lots of pictures and videos and took him to the dog park and on car rides. I will definitely book with them in the future!!”

“Betsy communicates well and provides a loving home away from home. A large fenced yard for lots of running and playtime helped get my pup's energy out. And she was so attentive to ensure my pup was comfortable on his first stay with her as he is quite anxious. And pup loved her!”

About: Hey neighbors! 🌼 We all know the feeling: the schedule is packed, but your furry friend is itching to explore the world. Since I grew up with two dogs of my own, I truly miss that daily "dog energy" and would love to put my experience to good use by keeping your pup active and happy!🥰 Whether you have a high-energy zoomie-king or a cozy senior who prefers a slow sniff-around—I’ll move at your dog’s pace. A bit about me: • Life-long experience: Having raised one dog myself (Poodle) an was Born in a Dog Loving Family (Family Dog: Bouvier) I'm very comfortable with different temperaments and behaviors. I currently have a very open schedule and can be completely flexible with timing. Whether it’s a last-minute walk or a long adventure, I’m available whenever your dog needs me.✨ Since I raised a dog of my own, I understand that every pet has its own personality and specific needs. Here is how I approach care: In the client's home: My priority is maintaining the dog's routine to keep them stress-free. I focus on clear communication with the owner regarding feeding schedules, favorite walking routes, and any 'house rules.' I treat every home with the utmost respect and ensure the dog feels safe and companionship-focused while their owner is away. During walks and care: I don’t just 'walk' the dog; I engage with them. Because I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time, I can offer extended sessions and don't have to rush. I’m also very observant of body language to ensure they are always comfortable and safe in every situation. • Senior-dogs-Walks • High-Energy- Runs • Training-Integration
“Samantha was amazing. We were stuck due to the hurricane on our vacation but she took away our worries when it came to our pup. Our dog also loves her.”

“Mai was absolutely awesome!!! She took such good care of my baby Jagger and kept me posted with pictures and updates the whole time. Her home was lovely and comfortable and her pets were so welcoming to my pet. This was my first time leaving my pet through Rover and I highly recommend then and Mai. Such a professional and pet lover. Until next time and only with Mai. Thank you!”

About: I've always owned & cared for animals my whole life. I grew up around a farm when I was a kid and I've always had dogs & cats of my own. I currently own 2 Great Danes and 3 cats. I currently work full time but will take appointments whenever I am off work and available. I will only take appointments for pet sitting/daycare in my own home. Since I have 5 animals of my own I cannot leave them for long periods of time to stay in your home. I do have a very medium/large crate in my home if your animal needs to be separated. I own my own home close to Starkey Park and several dog parks. My yard is completly fenced in with 6ft privacy fencing. I also have a screened in pool for those pets that like the water. I have a large sized pet door that goes from the house out to the fenced yard. My cats are very friendly and love my dogs but take a little to warm up to other dogs. They also have a small pet door to escape to the garage if they are overwhelmed . My dogs get along with all other dogs and don't mind cats.
“My puppy was obviously very comfortable at their home as was evident by the photos. She was snuggled and loved and cared for and that is all i could ever ask for. Thank you so much.”
