About: Being a dog mom for over 10 years and a cat mom for 3 years, now being a mom to my own babies and staying home full time with the ability to open my home or help others with their fur babies is my favorite hobby. I have a beautiful golden retriever that I’ve had since she was 6 weeks so I’ve been able to be with her and learn all stages of dogs. I have a large, fenced in backyard so plenty of space to play or sun bathe for the pups. I’m currently a stay at home mom to a newborn so I now have extra time for this hobby. I love dogs and sitting them is my fun way of interacting and enjoying a new pup without getting another one of my own. Dogs have always been members of the family to me. Spending quality time with them by going on long walks with plenty time to sniff and stimulate their brains, cuddling on the couch watching movies or playing with their favorite toy.

About: I've taken care of animals since I was younger. We've had quite a few different types of animals from bunnies and hamsters to cats and dogs. It fits easily into my routine because I'm home all the time. I don't go anywhere really and I have plenty of free time to spare. “Nancy is our first Rover pet care specialist and she did not disappoint. Outstanding communication, well organized, very personable. We are in the area for a few days as part of an Airstream caravan and had a long bus day into the city, leaving our Shiba alone for nearly 11 hours. Nancy proposed a meet and greet on short notice and also handled a reschedule (we decided to have her come by and walk Chewie twice versus once). Nancy understood the quirkiness of actually getting into our trailer as well as some of our hints to get Chewie to be interested in walking with her. Chewie, a guarded nine year old Shiba Inu who is basically our fourth child, took to Nancy like she was part of the family. We very much enjoyed the reports today of her interactions with Chewie as well the plethora of photos that captured Chewie better than we’ve been able to. I cannot say enough good things about Nancy. I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of time to give pups attention, playtime, and care. About: I've pet and house sat for cats and dogs of many breeds and sizes. Mostly for family and friends and I treat them like the beloved family members they are! Many times they have multiple dogs and or cats which is fine by me, love them all. I have been the lucky pet mama of many dogs, a few cats, birds, guinea pig and hamsters. They all were very dear to me and my family. Right now I'm retired and unfortunately my sweet old beagle-mix girl Leela, past away this past fall. I miss her dearly and the routine of walking her in her stroller because in her last year she lost mobility in her hind legs. I know I will eventually adopt another, but right now just enjoying her sweet memories 😊 ♥️ A typical day would start with outside time to do their business and get some exercise, followed by their breakfast and meds/ supplements if so needed. Then we relax a bit until afternoon walking, weather permitting, and playtime. Then relax until dinner and another walk/some playtime before retiring for the night. This of course varies with the pet's routines and needs each day. This is basically what we did with our dogs, and the cats were indoor/outdoor.

About: Being a dog mom for over 10 years and a cat mom for 3 years, now being a mom to my own babies and staying home full time with the ability to open my home or help others with their fur babies is my favorite hobby. I have a beautiful golden retriever that I’ve had since she was 6 weeks so I’ve been able to be with her and learn all stages of dogs. About: I've always owned & cared for animals my whole life. I grew up around a farm when I was a kid and I've always had dogs & cats of my own. I currently own 2 Great Danes and 3 cats. I currently work full time but will take appointments whenever I am off work and available. I will only take appointments for pet sitting/daycare in my own home. Since I have 5 animals of my own I cannot leave them for long periods of time to stay in your home. I do have a very medium/large crate in my home if your animal needs to be separated. I own my own home close to Starkey Park and several dog parks. My yard is completly fenced in with 6ft privacy fencing. I also have a screened in pool for those pets that like the water. I have a large sized pet door that goes from the house out to the fenced yard. My cats are very friendly and love my dogs but take a little to warm up to other dogs. They also have a small pet door to escape to the garage if they are overwhelmed . My dogs get along with all other dogs and don't mind cats.
