Kassandra Thank you so much for taking Lilly on her first Rover walk. She loved going with you. Your patience with a young puppy is commendable. She was worn out and taking her nap. Excited to be able to use you again.

About: Hello! Ive had a love for ALL animals my entire life. I didnt have my first dog until 7 years ago and she is now my entire world! I strive to make every animal I watch feel as loved as my own dogs! I started working in veterinary medicine 4years ago as just a receptionist and moved up to an assistant and now a technician. During this time I have been doing dog sitting as well. I started overnight dog sitting as well as drop in visits about 2 years ago and I absolutely love it. Every animal I have watched I treated like they were my own and I love every single one of them. My idea of a perfect day is being surrounded by animals! Working in Vet medicine has taught me many skills that are required to take care of all different types of animals and has prepared me for any situation that comes my way. With these skills, I hope it gives all fur baby moms and dad's a peace of mind while theyre away from their babies! I have 2 dogs and 3 cats that I care for daily as well as take care of any animal that works through the door at the clinic. I love taking care of animals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! My services offer pets to remain in their own home where they feel most comfortable. My goal is to make them feel as happy and safe as possible while their owners are away. While watching your babies I make sure that they get exercise, play time, any medications needed and make their day/night as fun and rewarding as possible!

About: I accept last minute requests :)🐾 My alternate/emergency backup sitter is Kelli B. (Also a sitter on Rover) Meet & greets are complimentary 🐩 Services: ~boarding (my home) ~house sitting (your home) ~drop-ins ~dog walking As a dedicated dog mom to a high-energy Border Collie/Labrador mix, I truly understand the level of commitment, patience, and exercise it takes to keep a pup happy and thriving. My home is a place of boundless energy and love, which has prepared me to step in as a seamless replacement parent for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Throughout my years of sitting, I’ve gained extensive experience with a diverse range of needs, from high-octane athletes to gentle senior souls. I am highly proficient in specialized care, including strict dietary management, insulin injections, oral pill administration, and the careful application of eye drops. I also have a deep heart for dogs with sensory challenges; having cared for both blind and deaf pups, I know how to use touch, vibration, and clear hand signals to ensure they feel safe and secure. My goal is always to provide the same empathetic, intuitive care you do, so your best friend feels cherished and understood every moment you’re away. My routine is built around being present. I have the flexibility to stay in your home, ensuring your pet’s environment remains stable and stress-free while you are away. Whether it’s keeping up with a high-energy exercise routine for an active pup, managing a strict medication schedule for a senior, or simply providing a warm lap to curl up on during my work hours, I am able to prioritize your pet's needs at any time of day. You won't have to worry about long stretches of solitude; I’m there to provide the snacks, the walks, and the specialized care exactly when they need it. For boarding, your pet would stay with me in my home 🏡 my yard is unfenced but there is plenty of space to run, and I have leashes of various lengths for outside play time. I'm happy to take your pup on car rides to run errands or to go to a local park for a hike 🐾 I don't mind pets on furniture or in bed 🐈‍⬛ When I stay in your home, my priority is providing a seamless "replacement parent" experience so your pets never feel a significant gap in their routine. Because of my professional background, I take the security of your home very seriously. You can travel with total peace of mind knowing that: Continuous Presence: I am there throughout the day, which is a natural deterrent and keeps your home looking "lived-in." Professional Responsibility: I am exceptionally detail-oriented and respectful of your space, following all house rules and security protocols to the letter. Specialized Medical Care: I am fully comfortable staying overnight with seniors or pets with chronic conditions (like diabetes or sensory impairments) who require late-night or early-morning monitoring. Home Tidiness: I maintain a clean, quiet environment and ensure mail is collected, plants are watered, and everything is exactly as you left it. I also have experience in the water mitigation field, so should any issue arise with an appliance or anything in your home, I know how to respond quickly and mitigate further issues.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cared for my grandma’s pets, making sure they’re happy, fed, and loved. I treat every dog like family always. I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of time to give pups attention, playtime, and care. Boarding works best for me on weekends after 2pm, but I’m happy to help on weekdays if needed — we can always work something out. For dog walking, I’m available most weekdays and flexible with scheduling to fit your pet’s routine. I have a fenced-in yard with plenty of space and grass for safe outdoor play. I can provide cat food, but I’ll need owners to bring any dog food and a crate if their pup uses one. I’m happy to help with basic dog grooming like brushing and bathing — I just don’t trim nails. Your pet will always be cared for and comfortable while they’re with me!

Nancy is our first Rover pet care specialist and she did not disappoint. Outstanding communication, well organized, very personable. We are in the area for a few days as part of an Airstream caravan and had a long bus day into the city, leaving our Shiba alone for nearly 11 hours. Nancy proposed a meet and greet on short notice and also handled a reschedule (we decided to have her come by and walk Chewie twice versus once). Nancy understood the quirkiness of actually getting into our trailer as well as some of our hints to get Chewie to be interested in walking with her. Chewie, a guarded nine year old Shiba Inu who is basically our fourth child, took to Nancy like she was part of the family. We very much enjoyed the reports today of her interactions with Chewie as well the plethora of photos that captured Chewie better than we’ve been able to. I cannot say enough good things about Nancy. I wish her the best and anyone who is looking for someone through Rover to walk or check up on their pet can rest assured their pet or pets will be in the best of hands with Nancy.

Kenneth was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly flexible and accommodating, which made coordinating care for our patient’s service animal effortless. Both our patients and our staff loved him he brought a calm, friendly presence that made everyone feel comfortable. Most importantly, he took exceptional care of our patient’s fur baby. It was clear he treated the service animal with the same level of attention and compassion we strive to show in our hospital. We were grateful to have someone so reliable, patient, and professional supporting our patient during their stay. Highly recommend Kenneth for anyone in need of trustworthy and exceptional pet care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
