“Lisa and Scott are awesome!! I gave them the wrong key but they still managed to get our penny girl on her walk. Very thankful and would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and kind walker!!”

“Kassandra was such a wonderful help in assisting me with taking care of my princess Beagle last week! She followed all the instructions and exceeded my expectations. She even sent me funny photos of her walks with my dog every day. I look forward to utilizing her services again soon! Thanks Kassandra!”

“Meet & Greet went great! Rada is was so nice! 10/10 recommend. She was so friendly with the dogs right off the bat, sat right on the floor and got to know them. Walks seem to have gone great! Booked relatively last minute and she was super accommodating/ flexible. Right on time as planned and dogs seem so happy / content which is all I can really ask for. Knowing they are taken care of the way I would take care of them, or even better, is such a relief. Definitely planning to book more frequently.”

“Hailey was such a pleasure to meet! She was prompt, very friendly, and Bria took to her right away! I wanted to be here for the first time, but now that I met her and saw Bria and her together, I will definitely book with Hailey again!”

About: I grew up around dogs. My neighbors and family rely on me to watch and take care of their dogs when they are away. I love to cuddle with puppies I work part time as a dog bather currently but i am usually available most of the time as long as you let me know ahead of time. i have three cats and a dog that are friendly and will keep your fur baby company. My cats love to play and make new friends.
About: I’ve always been around dogs and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and giving lots of attention to dogs of different sizes and personalities. I understand how important routines, safety, and trust are, and I take pride in making sure every dog feels comfortable and well cared for. I treat every dog as if they were my own and love building trust with both pets and their owners. I’m currently going to school, so I’m available after school hours to take care of your precious pets. . I do my best to be punctual and reliable, and I’m happy to communicate clearly if any schedule adjustments are needed. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and needs, and I always follow owner instructions carefully. I use safe leash practices during walks, remain attentive at all times, and make sure your dog feels calm and secure. I respect your home and maintain a clean, positive environment during every visit.

“Nancy is our first Rover pet care specialist and she did not disappoint. Outstanding communication, well organized, very personable. We are in the area for a few days as part of an Airstream caravan and had a long bus day into the city, leaving our Shiba alone for nearly 11 hours. Nancy proposed a meet and greet on short notice and also handled a reschedule (we decided to have her come by and walk Chewie twice versus once). Nancy understood the quirkiness of actually getting into our trailer as well as some of our hints to get Chewie to be interested in walking with her. Chewie, a guarded nine year old Shiba Inu who is basically our fourth child, took to Nancy like she was part of the family. We very much enjoyed the reports today of her interactions with Chewie as well the plethora of photos that captured Chewie better than we’ve been able to. I cannot say enough good things about Nancy. I wish her the best and anyone who is looking for someone through Rover to walk or check up on their pet can rest assured their pet or pets will be in the best of hands with Nancy.”

About: I've cared for pets solo for around 7 years. Before then, I assisted my mom with petsitting duties. I have experience with pets of all kinds, including snakes, lizards, cats, dogs, birds, and small pets like hamsters and rabbits. I will love your baby no matter the claws, teeth, fur, or scales! I'm currently working on getting certifications for work, so my schedule is completely free most of the time! Always happy to take care of your babies! I have a fenced yard and there are three other dogs in the home - all of which are small. There are also cats in the home. Pets are allowed on furniture unless you ask me to keep them off. Gated neighborhood perfect for taking dogs on walks as well.
About: I've taken care of a variety of different breeds, I am very active with the dogs. I have 3 years dogs training experience. If you struggle with a fussy high energy dog, or just want your pet to follow basic commands, I'm the sitter/ walker for you! I'm available full time 24/7. I do not require much notice. I'm very flexible with different schedules. I try my best to accommodate dog parents and dog needs. I live on a large 2 acre farm with my husky plenty of room for running. I also take the dogs (with permission) to a large near by open space dog park.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cared for my grandma’s pets, making sure they’re happy, fed, and loved. I treat every dog like family always. I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of time to give pups attention, playtime, and care. Boarding works best for me on weekends after 2pm, but I’m happy to help on weekdays if needed — we can always work something out. For dog walking, I’m available most weekdays and flexible with scheduling to fit your pet’s routine. I have a fenced-in yard with plenty of space and grass for safe outdoor play. I can provide cat food, but I’ll need owners to bring any dog food and a crate if their pup uses one. I’m happy to help with basic dog grooming like brushing and bathing — I just don’t trim nails. Your pet will always be cared for and comfortable while they’re with me!
About: I have fostered cats/kittens since I was 11. I volunteer at a local cat rescue with my mom and have been doing so for around 6 years. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to take care of pets for whatever the reason may be. While I am new to Rover, I am not new to pet care. I am currently a senior in college. Right now I am on summer vacation and will still be doing weekend availability when school starts back up with limited weekday availability as well! I can easily crate pets if needed and am able to provide any care that is wished upon for pets. I will treat clients' home and pets like my own. I am capable of giving any medications as well as any detailed instructions that may be needed to be taken into full consideration. I have great experience with dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens!
About: i’ve had pets my whole life and always have been the one to watch and take care of them, about 4 years ago i started pet sitting overnight for family friends and im CPR certified i’m currently working very part-time and will have plenty of time to play and hang out with your pets! i’m available from morning-2pm on monday through wednesday and available full time thrusday through sunday! i have a non fenced yard that i can leash and let them run around in, i also have a very friendly small shitzu named daisy dog and cat named theodore who love other animals, my dog is peeped pad trained so i have no issues if thats what your fur baby needs!
About: Starting at age 9 I raised pigs on my grandpas farm and showed them in the fair. I then decided to become vegan at age 13 after realizing the brutal way animals were treated. Last year I enrolled as a foster parent for the local animal shelter. I fostered a sweet, active pit bull named Rebel for two months. Then I fostered a few kittens. I now have my cat that’s grown up with me since I was 4. Unfortunately I can’t commit to having my own dog right now which is why I am on Rover. I have also fostered a kitten from the street that needed to be bottle fed and kept warm. I have open availability to pet sit as I am in the process of finding a job. I can start at 8 am and work till 8pm. I give plenty of pet scratches, it is just as much for me as it is for them. I value pets health, and I enjoy seeing animals get proper exercise and good nutrition. I make sure the pets in my care are in good health.

“So glad I met Samantha while walking my dog and she was walking a client’s dog! She is very caring and friendly and I hired her to walk my baby, Penny, for later in the week. She did a great job and would definitely have her walk Penny again! 😌💕🐾”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hudson
Kenneth was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly flexible and accommodating, which made coordinating care for our patient’s service animal effortless. Both our patients and our staff loved him he brought a calm, friendly presence that made everyone feel comfortable. Most importantly, he took exceptional care of our patient’s fur baby. It was clear he treated the service animal with the same level of attention and compassion we strive to show in our hospital. We were grateful to have someone so reliable, patient, and professional supporting our patient during their stay. Highly recommend Kenneth for anyone in need of trustworthy and exceptional pet care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
