“Jennifer and her family were absolutely amazing. My dog is getting older and I feel better having her and someone's home then boarding her. They sent me updates everyday and treated my dog very well. I will definitely be using them in the future.”
About: Hello! My name is Brooke and I have a precious English Springer Spaniel and had a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. I am a big dog lover and take my dog everywhere she can go with me! We love to hike, go biking, chase squirrels and the next door neighbors dog! I love spending time with animals, period, whether it’s playing with them or just taking them on a much needed walk! I also have house sat/pet sat for various families over the years and am extremely flexible with whatever families need. I have house sat/puppy sat from just a couple nights to several months at a time. I offer services of walking, in-home visits, over-night stays and quite frankly am flexible with any other situations that may come up! Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I currently work full time and even though I love puppies, would prefer to watch dogs that have a well established routine and can be ok for sometime alone before I can come and walk them and play with them. This is part of my personal routine with my own puppy. At this time I do not have a fenced in yard at my own home, so talking my dog for a long walk on the trails near my house is a must! For families where I am watching not only their animal but their home, I like to work within their animals normal routine so as not to add any more stress to the owners or the animal.
“Courtney sent pictures and updates everyday, and she was flexible when I needed to pick my dog up a few hours earlier than I had first told her. Her kids were really sweet and I know my dog had a great week with them. This was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience! Thank you, Courtney!!”

“Sydney was so amazing and accommodating with our dog Sally. She wrote us very thoughtful and thorough updates and sent lots of pictures. Sally came back relaxed and happy. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello, I currently have a work-from-home job. I have two amazing fur babies, Milo (Augi) and Mila (Corgi). Milo is 10 years old, and Mila is 6 years old. They are great with other dogs. Milo is very social and always wants to make new friends. Mila can be social but is mostly attached to my side. I am great with dogs and would love the opportunity to care for your fur babies. I do work from home and I am unable to visit during the day, but in the evenings, I am available for visits, walks, scratches, and snoot boops if needed. I have a huge backyard that my kiddos (dogs) love to play in. It is fenced in and secure. If they misbehave, which is rare, I never say "bad boy/girl". I use words like "That was not a good boy/girl." My family calls me a millennial parent as I use positive words/phrases when disciplining. They are crate-trained and do love their kennel. I have a large kennel if needed for a safe space.

“Deserae is such a dog lover and her children just loved on my Buddy boy the Beagle. She sent me pictures of Buddy smiling which added to the experience. I could not expect to find a better person to recommend, Five stars to Deserae.”

“Emma was fantastic with our pups! She sent us lots of “pupdates” with pics. Took the girls on several walks, on outings to the park and even tried to teach them tricks. She went above and beyond with everything. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time Rover experience.”

“Brooke is super sweet and did a great job working with our nervous puppy. He loved being there with her. She also kept us updated with pictures and videos every day and notes on how he was doing. We will be using Brooke on a regular basis.”

About: I have cared for pets all my life. I have always had a dog or 2 in my house that are spoiled and had me well trained. I owned a dog boarding, daycare, and grooming business in Ozark for 8 years.. I retired about four years ago. Since I am retired, I am home most of the day, except for a few errands to run occasionally. I live alone with two senior dogs who get along with most other animals. There are no children in the house. My home is all one level, with a fully fenced backyard. Fur babies cared for in my home have free run of the house, are allowed to be on the furniture, (unless the owner request differently). I am capable of crating your loved one if they are already crate trained… Your fur babies will get lots of love and ear scratches. I’m experienced in various diets and food prep along with medication’s, including injections.
About: Walking, bathing, and hanging out with dogs is some of my favorite downtime activities. Growing up with a dog I learned all the necessary skills to watch over a dog. I even volunteered at the humane society in both the dog and cat area for four years! I am currently a teacher so I work from 7-4pm Monday through Friday, but if you need someone to walk your dog at night or house sit for the weekend or even a week night, I am your person! My husband also works from home so if you’re boarding during the week day he is also here to help out if needed. Whatever you need me to do is what I will follow. I will come to your place as my animals do not take well to strangers. But rest assured I will take great care of your animal, in whatever capacity you need. At our home we two cats that do well with other dogs but tend to ignore them, and one dog who LOVES other dogs so no worries there.
“Tiffany is a joy and truly loves the pets she cares for. Our pet was well cared for and had such a great experience with Tiffany. She is excellent at communicating and keeping us up-to-date! She went out of her way to provide the best service and care for our pet!! We are so glad we met her and will definitely reach out to her again!”
“Selena and her family welcome your pet like their own. This was my first experience with Rover and my dog stayed 10 days with her. She was very kind and loves animals. Very grateful that I got to meet her and let my dog stay with her. Appreciate all the updates and pictures daily. Would use Selena again and again. Hands down the best experience ever! Thank you, Selena for keeping Christopher and letting me enjoy my vacation.”
“Emily was a fantastic sitter for our pup. She kept us updated daily and I knew he was well looked after and that he was in great hands during his stay. She even sent him home with a little treat baggie! I would definitely book Emily again if I'm traveling back through the area.”

“Brooklyn was AMAZING! My dog has high separation anxiety and she catered to him in every way that she could to keep him comfortable. He was so content and relaxed with her plus had a great buddy to play hard with! She sent me lots of pics and kept me updated. I will absolutely use her again!”

About: I am a lifelong animal advocate. Having recently lost my own pups to old age, I have a big space in my heart and home that I’d love to share with your dog. I deeply value the unique bond between humans and their pets, and I would be honored to be your dog’s trusted companion while you are away. My home provides a calm, attentive, and nurturing atmosphere—perfect for pups who need a little extra TLC, playtime, or just someone to keep them company. I have experience as a dog grooming assistant, dog-sitter (overnights), and also have cared for my senior dogs who both had special needs. I am a healthcare provider (occupational therapy) as a profession, so I have medical experience as well. I’m currently working 32-hours Monday through Friday, only about 6-7 hours a day. I work less than a mile from my home, so I am easily able to stop by on lunch breaks as needed. I am completely free after work and all weekend long, when off work, your pup will be my full attention! I also have a pet-camera in my home for when I am gone. My house is extremely pet safe, I have had senior pups and have purchased many adaptive equipment, such as pet stairs, to keep them safe. I have a fenced back yard and one pup, Lida, who is extremely friendly and always eager for more pet-friends. I have basic medical pet care training and a very safe home.
“Great experience with Ashley watching our Great Dane and pit mix. Excellent daily communication and some photos :) Easy to work with and answered all of our questions! 10/10 would recommend!”

“Nancy and Kevin took such sweet care of our fur baby Honey. She was completely spoiled! They fed my picky eater off of their dinner plate and hand fed her. Nancy provided a photo library daily. We missed her so much, but had complete Confidence in her care.”

“Cynthia was awesome! I am so thankful Tyson had her when I went on vacation. It made it easier to leave him. I even plan to have play dates between her pup Truman and Tyson. Such a great experience overall!”

Gretchen is fabulous with my girls! Both times I’ve booked with her it’s been on short notice & she & her family have been more than accommodating! My two dogs are high-energy & used to getting a lot of attention at home! Gretchen has taken them in & treated them like part of her family! She’s made it easy for me to relax & actually enjoy my trips knowing that they are in great hands! And she’s great about sending me pictures to let me see for myself that they’re having a great time!

As always, Stacie did an amazing job! Cassini absolutely loves staying with her too, I can tell she’s having the time of her life. Stacie definitely is very good with both people and animals. She sent lots of pictures and updates too which was very nice to have being so far away. She responds in a timely manner as well. Stacie is also very kind and understanding, especially when plans changed or pick up times changed. Definitely going to book through her again. She’s amazing!

I highly recommend Marisa! She was great with our two pups. She was very mindful of our small dog being an escape artist and she was so patient with our 5 month old puppy. She took great care of them! She even sent pics and a video of them playing and going for a walk. Our dogs seemed happy and comfortable in her home when we picked them up. All around it was a good experience with Marisa!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
