About: My financee, Garrett, and I have cared for the wellbeing of several types of dogs since we were children. We live together, but it will primarily be me who is home with the dogs and if you need help in your home, it will always be me you will speak too. We have two fur babies together and would love to help you care for yours! I work 3 minutes from home and can usually return with in a few hours on days when I have to go to the office, which is fairly rare. I do work a 9-5, but I work hybrid remote. I have a fully privacy fenced in back yard. I let my own dogs out every 3-5 hours for the bathroom, as they are grown and do not need let out much, but I am able to accomodate any bathroom schedule necessary. I am able to keep a meds and feeding schedule as well as an exercise schedule easily with my job flexabilty. Our dogs sleep with us and eat twice a day. We keep a clean, happy home and love to let our dogs out back to run and play often! In the evenings, my fiancee and I can walk your dog or dogs with our own babies as we have multiple leashes with dual or multi-capacity.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets.. before I was old enough to get a job my mom would talk to her friends and I would babysit there dogs while they were away. I’m currently i have no job so I have a lot of time to play with and care for your pet! I am available almost any time your pet needs! I am good at following instructions and making sure any animal under my care is safe. I currently cant take any pets at my home right now.
“Emma was fantastic with our pups! She sent us lots of “pupdates” with pics. Took the girls on several walks, on outings to the park and even tried to teach them tricks. She went above and beyond with everything. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time Rover experience.”

“Jackie & Micheal have become family to my pup & I. They have provided extended care to my girl when I was called upon to help my family in another state. My girl has been adopted by their entire family, and getting her home will be a challenge.”

“Ashley was just absolutely amazing! If I could give her 10 stars, I 100% would! She really went above and beyond taking care of our girl! We really enjoyed the consistent check-ins and pictures and appreciate the extra time she took to let us know how Harley was doing while we were away! I was so thrilled that she actually seemed to take the time to get to know our fur baby and treated her like one of her own! This was our first time boarding Harley, but Ashley made it so smooth and stress-free! Would definitely recommend and will be booking with her again in the future!”

“Mikala was amazing and anytime I need an overnight sitter she is the first person I will call on. My Gypsy was so taken care of over the thanksgiving holiday. I received regular pictures and updates with a smiling puppy with her new friends. A special thanks to Mikala and her husband for helping me with our puppy drop off as I was hospitalized a few hours after our meet and greet and wasn’t able to meet personally. That meant so much to me that these sweet people went out of their way to help me. I would absolutely recommend Mikala for any service with Rover. The apitamy of a puppy mom and no doubt your fur babies will be in good hands with Mikala.”

“Dillon was great! He sent me many updates on Beckett and was very flexible with pickup and drop off times- especially for this last minute booking. I will definitely be using him again!”

“Selena is an amazing sitter. She loved our dogs like they were her own. I was impressed with how she handled the tough stuff: the accidents, separation anxiety, hesitancy of the dogs. We got numerous updates - it felt like we never left them. We will use her services in the future!”

“Been coming here with my dog ever since she was a puppy- and she loves it and has a fantastic time every time! They’re fantastic at updating me with photos and telling me about my dog’s day, and flexible and easy to connect with. My go to sitters!”

“Sabrina is fabulous! We were updated regularly on how our dog was doing while we were away, which I SO appreciated! Her attention to our "second child" allowed us to enjoy our vacation even more! We will for sure use her again and HIGHLY recommend!”

“Linda is the absolute best. She was great with my dog and treated him as her own. Communication was great and she sent pictures as promised. Would absolutely recommend and use again. Thank you Linda!!”

About: Walking, bathing, and hanging out with dogs is some of my favorite downtime activities. Growing up with a dog I learned all the necessary skills to watch over a dog. I even volunteered at the humane society in both the dog and cat area for four years! I am currently a teacher so I work from 7-4pm Monday through Friday, but if you need someone to walk your dog at night or house sit for the weekend or even a week night, I am your person! My husband also works from home so if you’re boarding during the week day he is also here to help out if needed. Whatever you need me to do is what I will follow. I will come to your place as my animals do not take well to strangers. But rest assured I will take great care of your animal, in whatever capacity you need. At our home we two cats that do well with other dogs but tend to ignore them, and one dog who LOVES other dogs so no worries there.
“Brooke took care of my 2 cats for 5 days and treated them the same as if they were her own. She is very knowledgeable about feline behavior and tuned into the adjustment process they were going through being in a new place. I was very impressed with the way she helped my kitties feel safe, calm, and entertained like spaces they could have privacy, a cat tree to play or sleep on, and assorted toys (they loved the robot laser!). We clarified how frequently I wished to be updated on how they were doing and she gave me details about their activity, eating and drinking, and when she tucked them in for the night. Highly recommend and will undoubtedly hire Brooke again.”

About: I love taking care of dogs, and would treat them how I treat my own spoiled goldendoodle! My Jojo lives a luxurious life, and your dog would be on vacation with me! I work part-time and am in college, so just message me for specific dates! I will be very up-front with dates that will or will not work for my schedule I will kennel your dog during the night, and make sure they have plenty of time at dog parks & walks! I love taking my dog outside and making sure she’s staying active
About: Hello! My name is Brooke and I have a precious English Springer Spaniel and had a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. I am a big dog lover and take my dog everywhere she can go with me! We love to hike, go biking, chase squirrels and the next door neighbors dog! I love spending time with animals, period, whether it’s playing with them or just taking them on a much needed walk! I also have house sat/pet sat for various families over the years and am extremely flexible with whatever families need. I have house sat/puppy sat from just a couple nights to several months at a time. I offer services of walking, in-home visits, over-night stays and quite frankly am flexible with any other situations that may come up! Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I currently work full time and even though I love puppies, would prefer to watch dogs that have a well established routine and can be ok for sometime alone before I can come and walk them and play with them. This is part of my personal routine with my own puppy. At this time I do not have a fenced in yard at my own home, so talking my dog for a long walk on the trails near my house is a must! For families where I am watching not only their animal but their home, I like to work within their animals normal routine so as not to add any more stress to the owners or the animal.
“Ashley was the best find for us and our dog. She has a great structure at her place, clearly experienced and was very understanding of our dog’s behavior challenges. I am very self conscious about our dog’s reactivity and we are so glad to have found someone we can trust to handle our very energetic and jumper pup, she is our top choice from now on.”

“Molly provided excellent care for our Corgi. I received pictures and notes keeping me updated. I was concerned that our pickup time might change due to airline changes and she was flexible to work with me. I very much appreciated the love she provided.”

About: I had a dog and we had to put her down last summer. We had dogs as a kid. And I love taking care of my neighbors and friends dogs. I’m not ready for the full-time commitment of having a pet yet. But I’d love to offer our home and our services to our neighbors and communities pets and treat them like a member of our family while their families are away I am currently unemployed And have a big yard that’s fenced in. Lots of time to take care of your pup. I like to keep their lives as consistent to home as possible I’d love to care for your pet the way I would care for my own and like a member of the family :) lots of pets and outside time as desired

Lael and Shawn were wonderful to meet, and took tremendous care of our dobie Ivy. We have a hard time finding people to watch our girl, and do not feel comfortable leaving her with just anyone. Lael has a dobie herself and understands the breed. Ivy had a great time and we would love to rebook again.

Selena was so wonderful! I cannot stress enough how comfortable she made us while we were away for the weekend. Our very spoiled Westie with attachment issues is used to being home with us 99% of the day and we know he will have anxiety when we leave him. After losing our former long term sitter, we had to find a new one and I am SO GRATEFUL we found Selena. She wanted to make sure his routine was as close to home as possible, that he was as comfortable as possible. She checked in with pictures and videos often (probably more for my benefit than Hamilton’s) because he seemed so happy. If she questioned anything along the way, she didn’t hesitate to reach out. She gave him so much love and just let him be his codependent self and be her little lemming all weekend. He got lots of social time with other pups and made new friends along the way. 🐾

As always, Stacie did an amazing job! Cassini absolutely loves staying with her too, I can tell she’s having the time of her life. Stacie definitely is very good with both people and animals. She sent lots of pictures and updates too which was very nice to have being so far away. She responds in a timely manner as well. Stacie is also very kind and understanding, especially when plans changed or pick up times changed. Definitely going to book through her again. She’s amazing!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
