About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! Currently in my home I have a 1 year old Shihpoo name Mocha and a 5 year old Heeler/Dauschund mix named Luna. I promise to take care of your fur babies just as if they were mine! I am a single mother with lots of time on my hands to love on pets. I have a daughter in Junior High and a son in High School so I do run them back and forth to their activities but otherwise I’m ready to spend time with the fur babies. I have a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I have a couple big trees for shade while pets are playing outdoors and a covered back porch for relaxing.

I think structure and routine are the best ways for them to learn, especially puppies! They’re practically babies! I treat all my dogs like they’re my kids. They truly are a part of my family! I go to college Monday-Friday 8am-12pm. I could walk or come do a check in any of those days after noon! If I’m house sitting I can do any day through the week, I just wouldn’t be home till 2-3 in the afternoon since sometimes I stay at school and study. I could always go back to your house to let them out to potty or play with them and then go back and study! I will always follow any rule you set. The routine you set would be followed to a T. About: Hello and welcome to our little side of dog paradise! I will need a meet and greet before I can commit to any extent of stay. All dogs must be current on shots and show no symptoms of infection or intestinal issues. Charlie, my last dog was a dachshund, she was not a good social fit for most dogs and we were very limited in taking her or leaving her with anybody. I loved her dearly but she was a total pill! Dottie our new cattle dog mix is just wonderful with other dogs, and because she loves to play...here we are on this site! Dottie is such a great host to all dogs in our house I thought why not? I work from home and also have times where I need to be gone but never for more than 3 hours at a time. I will never book if I am too busy to be a good dog parent. That is a promise. I have a flexible schedule that I am in charge of at all times. I would like to see a complete profile with photos to consider a booking. I am not looking to make this my primary business and only want to cater to the right pets that fit our life. I am not a dog trainer but do love them dearly when they are in my care. A good fit for us is a typical fun loving dog that likes everybody and wants to play and walk. I do believe another good fit would be the super lazy or old pet that just likes to lay around or be petted. I am all about them. They need to be house trained crate trained is a plus. I can’t take any aggressive tendencies toward kids, cats or other dogs. I would also like to avoid dogs that have intense anxiety or tend to be destructive. If our home sounds like a good fit reach out! Our days start early at 6:00am Monday-Friday, the weekends depend on our Schedule. We are also early to bed at 8:00pm so would like to avoid late pick ups but can understand if it’s a late flight or a long drive in a day to get back home. I Have a nice house in an awesome south east Springfield neighborhood, It comes with a wood 6ft privacy fence. I have a 9 year old kid who loves pets as well. We have Felix, a 3 year old male tabby who comes in and out on his own free will at all times of the day. He is indifferent to dogs, doesn't want to hang out with them but not going to bite or attack anybody. He is a good boy. Dottie is our new adopted dog. We got her from care rescue shelter in August 2025 to foster and eventually sealed the deal for keeps. She is a lovely little creature that loves to play and run around the backyard with her other dog buddies. Dottie has a crate and we still use it at times but she is pretty well allowed to roam around. She is crate trained and potty trained. Basically I am pretty easy dog mamma. If they need rest, they get it. If they want to play and run they can. They come in and out when they want. That's how we roll at our house.

For cats, I can be a bit squeamish when it comes to litter, but that is nothing a mask or a nose clip won't fix! As a full time college student, online classes allow my schedule to be very flexible. About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was a kid, im really considerate of everyone’s time and need of there own time I can help and do anything you may ask even give the pet medicine if that is what is needed I have 4 cats and they are very well trained and loveable. I also help out around the neighborhood in pet sitting so I pretty much know what you will expect of me and I’ll make sure it happens. I give them baths, brush them, feed them, walk them, I’m very calm and time proficient and know what to do in case of emergency
About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! Currently in my home I have a 1 year old Shihpoo name Mocha and a 5 year old Heeler/Dauschund mix named Luna. I promise to take care of your fur babies just as if they were mine! I am a single mother with lots of time on my hands to love on pets. I have a daughter in Junior High and a son in High School so I do run them back and forth to their activities but otherwise I’m ready to spend time with the fur babies. I have a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I have a couple big trees for shade while pets are playing outdoors and a covered back porch for relaxing.

I received regular pictures and updates with a smiling puppy with her new friends. A special thanks to Mikala and her husband for helping me with our puppy drop off as I was hospitalized a few hours after our meet and greet and wasn’t able to meet personally. That meant so much to me that these sweet people went out of their way to help me. I would absolutely recommend Mikala for any service with Rover. About: Hello! My name is Brooke and I have a precious English Springer Spaniel and had a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. I am a big dog lover and take my dog everywhere she can go with me! We love to hike, go biking, chase squirrels and the next door neighbors dog! I love spending time with animals, period, whether it’s playing with them or just taking them on a much needed walk! I also have house sat/pet sat for various families over the years and am extremely flexible with whatever families need. I have house sat/puppy sat from just a couple nights to several months at a time. I offer services of walking, in-home visits, over-night stays and quite frankly am flexible with any other situations that may come up! I currently work full time and even though I love puppies, would prefer to watch dogs that have a well established routine and can be ok for sometime alone before I can come and walk them and play with them. This is part of my personal routine with my own puppy. At this time I do not have a fenced in yard at my own home, so talking my dog for a long walk on the trails near my house is a must! For families where I am watching not only their animal but their home, I like to work within their animals normal routine so as not to add any more stress to the owners or the animal.
